Jeffrey and his staff organized for us a nice tour, prices are very competitive and accommodations are very good. During camping days the food was always nice thanks to the cook. We recommend our exceptional guide, David , who is an expert in knowing animals and Savana habitat.
We were extremely satisfied. Highly recommended !!!

We booked a safari from Meru Slopes Tours. It was offered at a competitive price, and we were curious what to expect. Well, the safari exceeded our expectations! We had a really knowledgeable and friendly guide (Oswald Shayo) who apparently is always lucky in finding the animals. He is also a very safe driver who always created a nice atmosphere in our jeep. The food was nice and the camping spots were good too. Meru Slopes organized everything very well, from the pick-up from the airport to Arusha, our stay in their hotel there to organizing a really good guide who gave us a wonderful experience. I can recommend Meru Slopes to anyone!

Safari and Kilimanjaro.
Me and my girlfriend were first 1 week on safari and then we were on Kilimanjaro, it was all booked by this company. We got some amazing experiences, We have absolutely nothing negative to say. The staff at the hotel are so friendly, they help us with everything.

Great experience
My journey in Tanzania had started off on a very negative note because the other tour operator I was in contact and trying to go with ended up cheating me out of my money and making off with it. I ended up at Mr. Geofrey Nassari's hotel, the Arusha Tourist Inn.
It was the best thing that could have happened to me because he arranged for me to go on his safari and he even helped me track my money down from the perpetrator after.
The safari was great, the driver was knowledgeable and the cook was excellent throughout the safari.

Everything was perfect. We saw the Big 5
Everything was perfect. The two drivers from the airport, the 2 drivers for safari and the chef were very good. As for the safari, we saw the Big 5, and that was thanks to Samuel. He searched for the animals, and when we found them, he got us closer so we could have a better view. Whatever we asked for, he found it for us. Every day, he cleaned the car, helped us with our belongings, and explained everything about the animals and the parks. He was always smiling and definitely made the safari experience even more unique and perfect. Almachius was very helpful, we had excellent communication, and he assisted us in booking the safari with Meru Slopes. Asante Sana

They are amazing
We booked a 6 day private custom safari. We were picked up from the airport in Arusha by Fidelis, who told us some basic and important words in Swahili and general information about tribes in Tansania. After finishing all payments at the meru slopes office with Jerome they gave us a ride to our accommodation and managed for us to get some homemade food.
The next day Asantaeli, our guide, picked us up and we started the safari. The national parks we visited were: Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorogoro Crater. It was just amazing. We saw many animals and Asantaeli answered all our questions about them. We even saw a pack of hyenas hunting successfully. The lodges were all very comfortable and clean with very nice staff. The Hhando Lodges was serene. We will never forget the sunset at the Camp (Heritage Camp) within the Serengeti. The provided food was plenty and delicious.
The last day we spent with Jerome and Nickolson, who showed us the local food markets and shops in Arusha. We also went for a small hike up a hill and looked at the city.
This whole experience was perfect and we are very thankful.

amazing experience
We had a delay and our flight was move to another airport. Thanks to Gift Tembo we always felt secure and everything was perfectly coordinated. We were talking by WhatsApp and he organized our pickup in the new airport.
Regarding the tour, our driver and guide Nuru was amazing, he manage to spot animals so far that for us were just a small pixel. We sae the big 5, ugly 5, serval cat, a lion eating, leopard and cheeta hunting( but failing )... Was an amazing experience. Also he was telling us a lot of information about the animals, the big migration, geography...
Finally our chef Yohane prepared delicious local food everyday. He even made homemade bread! Was so taste that i had to ask for the recipe and he gave to us. Also he was teaching us some Swahili words and he had a great sense of humor.
If you have the opportunity ask for them in your tour!

Dream Safari 2024
We were in 5 days safari with Meru Slopes. They are super helpful and reliable, we didn’t have to worry about anything during our adventure. Our contact was Gift. He helped us with all the arrangements and immediately answered all the questions we have had. We felt very taken care of 😊
We are especially happy about having Nuru as a guide. He spotted every animal on the way that nobody else could. We saw all the big 5 🫶🏻 He has a lot of knowledge and told us a lot of interesting stories ( his English is really great). He is also a really skilled driver and super nice person.
A big shout out to our cook Yohane as well. He stayed with us all that time and prepared us delicious local breakfast, lunches and dinners. We even had everyday at lunchtime fresh baked bread made by him! And he taught us some Swahili :) we absolutely recommend them - there is no better choice. Thank you guys for an amazing experience and a lot of fun and laugh 😊 Asante sana !

Our safari with Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris was truly exceptional! From the start, they organized every detail perfectly. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife, patient with our endless questions, and went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience. Dula, our cook, deserves special praise as well—his meals were delicious, like something from a highly-rated restaurant, prepared with on-the-go resources in the wild. An unforgettable experience.
We had an amazing trip with Meru Slopes.
From the moment we arrived in Tanzania, Meru Slopes took care of us. Nixon was the driver from the airport, and made us feel welcome in the country. He took us to a small lake which was very beautiful and gave us a taste of what was in store for the next few days. Later that day, we met Almacheus, who went through the trip planned for us in detail. We got a good brief about the trip, before it all started the following day. The trip was carried out as planned, where we had unforgettable experiences. We encountered some challenges on the way, but these were handled in an exemplary manner by pleasant and professional guides.
Our guide was Robert. A very skilled driver with good experience. He is a pleasant person who contributed to a good atmosphere throughout the stay. Joining the team was chef Gidion, who prepared very good food. The food was always served with a smile. Gidion is also a great person.
Our stay in Tanzania was fantastic and we would recommend Meru Slopes to everyone.
