Fantastic 4-days safari (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro)
We had a fantastic 4-days group tour (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro) with Meru Slopes Tours and Safaris. Planning the tour, Geofrey was reliable and super helpful: Per e-mail, he responded rapidly and arranged some extra wishes for us easily (regarding an accommodation and meeting friends in Serengeti Visitor Center). On our tour, we were lucky to be guided by the funny and competent Iri and our cook Goodibless who served us one the best meals in Tansania. The tour itself was amazing and perfectly prepared and carried out. The two of us were (rather coincidentally) at the Serengeti Visitor Center which is a nice and interesting place (lying in the middle of the Serengeti, next to Seronera campsite) and could be worth adding to future tours as it is not normally included. All in all, we were more than satisficed with Meru Slopes Tours and Safaris and would recommend them to anyone who plans to do a safari.

Amazing Experience!
We booked 8 days safari from Meru Slopes Tours. They picked up us in the airport, and from then they take care of everything. I can highly recommend Meru Slopes as everything was well organized.
The safari was great, We had a really knowledgeable and friendly guide. I can recommend our driver/guide Isaack P. Swai who is an expert in knowing animals. He is also a very safe driver. the food was always nice thanks to cook Akshin.
We enjoyed our safari so much, Thanks to all staff of Meru Slopes and especially to Geofrey Nassari.
You should ask for Isaack as safari guide;)

TRIP OF A LIFETIME
In short, it couldn't have been better! And I owe this to the 3 stars of the trip - the animals, Meru Slopes (Geoffrey in particular) and our driver - Simon Juma. I went for this safari on my honeymoon, and I came back with memories and experiences that are still giving me goosebumps as I write this!
1. The animals - Well there are plenty of them, and yet you can never get bored of seeing them! We spent our 5 day safari in Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area and multiple game drives in the Serengeti. We saw the Big Five of course - but more importantly - we observed the animals! We saw how an elephant chased away four lionesses, we saw how ostriches put on a nice show to attract the females and we watched in awe while a leopard tore apart a warthog and rested with its kill atop a tree. Every sighting brought in a new experience, and each experience was unique and mind-numbing.
2. Meru Slopes - As someone who had no knowledge of Africa, I was indeed lucky (thanks to my friend Sharath Chandra for that - who himself had a great safari through Meru the last year) that I got in touch with Geoffrey. He is a guy you can really trust - He was always available on whatsapp when we were booking the trip, he advised us efficiently when we reached there, and he had the people and processes required to have a flawless safari. There are many safari providers, but I will give a few examples as to how Meru stood apart:
- Geoffrey arranged for my pickup from the Arusha airport, but when I changed my flight and informed him that I will be reaching at the Kilimanjaro airport, he sent a guy to pick us up. Kilimanjaro is at least an hour away from the Arusha airport
- Our stay in Arusha (before and after the safari) was arranged by Geoffrey, and he ensured that we had a good experience at the hotel (Arusha Tourist Inn)
Finally, I would thank Meru that they organized our trip with Simon Juma - our guide, driver and by the end of the trip, a friend!
3. Simon Juma (and the cook) - I was amazed at the knowledge Simon had - both about the jungles as well as his communication with tourists. Case in point - When we saw 3 lions from a long distance away, a number of other safari cars started following them in the direction they were going. Simon just went in the opposite direction, came to a specific point, stopped his engine and just waited. He had recognized the lion tracks, and indeed the lions came right where we were. He spoke fluent English, knew the scientific names of a lot of plants and animals you find there, and had interesting stories to tell about the many years he has been serving here. The food during the safari was fantastic - be it the soups or the pancakes - any there was plenty of food to choose from! Also, a big shoutout to our cook - who specially cooked chicken dishes for us when he got to know that we do not have beef.
Overall, I would love to go back again some day, but the experiences that I have come back with will definitely last me a lifetime!

Excellent Safari!
We had 8 days camping safari on low season.
Geoffrey, the organizer, answered very fast and everything was organized very well.
Our driver Simon was a good driver, had a lot of experience and took us to places where I thought we saw more than an average safari tourist. I counted that we saw about 60 lions, 6 cheetahs, 2 leopards, and 2 rhinos.
The food was fresh and excellent, thanks to Richard.
Equipment was good and camping with the wild animals was very exciting.
I have to say that camping is camping, not the five-star hotel so don't expect that.
I also saw that all safari organizers are not very good ones and we were very happy with ours.
Special thanks, our recommendation, and greetings to Simon the Driver!

Perfect
We spent 2 days at serengeti, 1 day at ngorongoro and 1 day at lake manyara. We slept at room 2 nights and slept 1 night in tent. Actually I was expecting to sleep in tent everyday because its a budget safari, but there was empty rooms at camping and they gave us this rooms. There was hot shower and rooms was really clean. It was a really good surprise. But at high season I dont think it can happen. Company owner Mr. Nassari always responded our emails very quick and he was always nice. Our guide Isaac was a very good driver and of course tour guide. He informed us about every animal. He really knows how to find animals. We spent all time we can spent at game drives every day and we see a lot of beutiful animals. We saw too many lions (more than 50), one cheetah with 3 cubs and 2 leopards. Also countless other anımals including hyena, wild beast, hippos, alligator, elephants, zebras, giraffes, different kind of birds and lots of more. Our cook Aksheen prepared us very good meals even better than restaurants. We really spent very good time there and I want to thank Meru Slope Tours & Safaris for everything. If you thinking a safari trip I sincerely recommend Meru Slope Tours & Safaris.

Incredible experience!
My partner and I spent a 5 day 4 night safari of Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro with Meru Slopes 2 weeks ago. We had the most incredible time. Meru Slopes were faultless, from picking us up and dropping us off at the airport, providing accomodation the night before and after safari. We had booked camping safari but we were even upgraded to a lodge one night in the serengeti (possibly due to it being low season). The camping was rustic but an incredible experience, especially hearing hyenas laugh and buffalo chew with only a piece of canvas separating you! Our guide Idi was fantastic, he made sure we sure all the big 5,in sometimes unnervingly close proximity! We actually managed to see a record breaking (or so Idi tells us) 52 lions, 16 cheetah and 4 leopards (including 1 cub!). Our chef Mateo was a wizard with a camping stove and kept us incredibly well fed throughout the whole safari. It was my partners 30th birthday during the safari and Mateo managed to whip up a birthday cake complete with icing and candles, hearing happy birthday sung in swahili in the pitch black in the middle of the serengeti certainly was a memory to treasure. Thank you so much to Geofrey, Idi and Mateo for an experience of a lifetime!

Great experience with Meru Sopes (safari 6 days)
We hired a 6 day safari, sleeping in camping, with Meru Slopes, we visited Manyara, Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro.
We decided on the good opinions we read and I can say that we made the right decision. Although at first it is a bit scary to book everything online, the communication with Geoffrey is fluid and it complied with everything agreed.
As for the safari, it was all perfect, we saw many animals, the landscapes are incredible and the experience unforgettable. To thank our guide Benson and our chef Mathew for their work, their kindness and their sympathy because without them it would not have been the same. I recommend that you ask if it is possible to go with them because you will not regret it, and you will eat great.
They also worry that the group they join is related to you, which makes the trip even better.
