5/5

We were picked up by yeep with a Guide an a Cook in Dar es Salaam ! The english of both was very good . The Guide told us so much about nature, animals and live in Tansania. The Drive to Selous Game Reserve took 7 hours with a good lunch in between and was so interesting ! We stayed at Hippo Camp, with view at the river, where you can see the Hippos!! The accommodation was nice and clean , the people friendly and helpful! We did a two hour boat safari,a one day game drive and a walking safari. Each event was georgus, unbeleavabel ,the greatest expereance we ever had!! The food was very good and plenty and tasty! Tank you very much for those 3 days we will never forget!!

A great experience with a few bumps
4/5

First I would like to thank Mack for his patience whilst we sorted out our end. Mike, our driver and guide, for his knowledge and willingness to assist us in getting the best experience during our time on safari. And Nicho for some excellent food at the Hippo Camp.
Some points that would have improved the overall safari, prior planning on the part of Kiliholidays to ensure vehicle is in the best state prior to commencement may have prevented the flat tyre just outside of Dar Es Salaam, and having a fully serviceable jack would have reduced the amount of time on the side of the road. In addition having to wait in Dar Es Salaam whilst groceries were purchased detracted from the excitement for all participants who were on their first safari. And though it was necessary to have a spare prior to departing the Hippo Camp, it was not good having to wait for two hours whilst it was being repaired when it should have been done the previous day/night, and I do understand this is not Kiliholidays fault as the tyre was dropped off for repair with plenty of time to do so.
The sunset boat tour on the Rufiji was spectacular, with the sun setting over the hippos. Accommodation provided by Steve and his staff at the Hippo Camp was a pleasant surprise, much better than what we expected. The safari was, from start to finish, a magnificent display of african animals in the wild, Giraffes, Impala, Warthogs, Zebras, Wildebeasts, Lions, Hippos, Kudus, Water Bucks, Crocodiles, Babboon, Monkeys and Elephants. The best experience though was getting within a couple of meters of 3 month old Lion Cubs with their mother. And the view from the bank of the lake/river whilst we ate lunch was brilliant. Didi and his magical 2 hour walk through the bush the following morning was an adventure that none of us will ever forget, and then he topped it off with more elephants.
All in all the six of us immensely enjoyed the experience, but the time wasted for provisions and tyre change/repair on the voyage to and from Dar Es Salaam could have been avoided.

Thanks for the review and your advice is much appreciated. There was a little delay on the first day due that you made payment on that morning and by that time we have to change some $ to Tz shillings. There was no exchange shop open by that time, that made us wait till opened around 9am. We apologies as we couldn't notify you early.

The lift Jack happen not work probability due to lack of oil and it happened Mike-our driver guide did not notify the problem to the garage to sought out the problem before the next safari. But now it all done/solved. Regarding to the flat tyre at Selous, we spoke to Mike and it happened to be a mistake of him and he real regret of what happen due to the time waste.
All of our safari vehicle undergo maintenance soon after and before the next safari. Thank you so much that you had a great safari vacation with Kiliholidays and looking forward to host you once again in a future.

Fantastic!!
5/5

We went on the 6 day southern circuit safari with Kiliholidays and we had a fantastic experience from start to finish. We have never booked a trip direct with the tour operator like this before, and Mack, who did the booking for us was really helpful and informative, he answered any questions we had and made booking the holiday really easy and stress-free!
Our guide was called Mike and he was Amazing!! So helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble, he knew loads about the wildlife and the culture and traditions of Tanzania. He helped to make our holiday even more special.
We would definitely recommend Kiliholidays (and Mike as a guide) if you are thinking of booking a safari.
A Massive thank you to Mack, Mike and all the staff who made our safari a trip we will never forget!!

It was a pleasure to welcome your party to Tanzania and our hearts are warmed to hear that you enjoyed your time here. 6days is a good length of time to spend here - there is always something new to see, especially if you have as good guide to point everything out. Compliment to Mike our driver and guide. Our staff are always happy to answer e-mails in advance of the trip, as we all realize how big a commitment a safari trip is.

Thank you, both for your visit and your comments.

Great Safari in Mikumi
4/5

I was so hesitated when I looked for Mikumi National Park safari because I was foreigner and didn't know which one is good. I asked several tours, among them Kiliholidays was the fastest respond tour. That was why I choose this. Safari was good, two days were enough to look around Mikumi. Mach was nice and I am willing to recommend Kiliholidays.

It was fantastic!
5/5

We had a 3-days safari (Tarangire, Lake Manyara and NgoroNgoro). Everything was just wonderful! Mack is a very good manager. He provided us with all information we needed before the trip. First we arrive in Dar es Salaam. There a colleague of Mack Freddy met us and helped to take a bus to Arusha. During our safari we saw a lot of beautiful animals. Our guide Tomas told us a lot of interesting information about behavior of animals, their migration, history of national parks, about the country and its traditions and people. Our chiefs Gedeon and Rima (the second day) cooked really tasty dishes, the accommodation at Panorama camp near Lake Manyara was nice. So we got from safari everything we expected and even more. We definitely recommend Kiliholidays Tour and we will remember this fantastic journey for the whole life. Asante sana!

Fantastic experience with Kiliholidays!
5/5

I can give my full recommendation to Kiliholidays. The contact person (Mack) was very helpful, and we managed to arrange all the formalities from home, including the airport transfer to Arusha organized by him (a couple of hours by bus from Dar Es Salaam). During the three day safari we were driving a Toyota Land Cruiser, and despite it was quite an old make it was indeed in mint condition. The driver (Tom) was very professional and helpful and proved to have immense knowledge about the wildlife. After a full day of driving around the national parks our cook (Rama) treated us with some of the most delicious food we had eaten during our stay in the mainland of Tanzania. Overall, the three day safari experience (including a day at Ngorongoro, a day at Tarangire and one at Lake Manyara) was a memorable experience, and not only due to the picturesque landscapes and the wildlife, but also because of the way it was organized. Overall, I would give a full five-star rating to Kiliholidays!

Amazing adventure with really experienced guide
5/5

Kiliholidays was really excellent. We really didn't know what to expect when you are arranging your safari from so far away. We were very pleasantly surprised that Mack our contact had sent our driver to collect us from the airport then we met him at his office to go over the finer details. We had good accommodation in Arusha and set off early the next day for Lake Manyara. This is very beautiful and a great introduction to the wildlife we saw later. We camped the first night to save on cost which was good and the food was excellent. The next day was spent heading to the Serengeti, we saw lots of Masai and plenty of wildlife. Our guide John was very experienced and spotted animals we couldn't even see.

Our accommodation in serena lodge was spectacular, no fences and wildlife is all around you. The next day was in serengetu again then onto Ngorogoro crater. This was really a special place for us with so much animals all in one place. We saw everything and again stayed at the Serena lodge in that location which is one of the best hotels I have ever been too. This ezoerince with Kiliholidays will be one we will not forget. We did this as a family with our 8 year old daughter who absolutely loved it too even though we spent a lot of time in the safari vehicle. I would recommend Kiliholidays to everyone.

Excellent safari tour
5/5

We booked the safari in advance, so we were very excited about how it might be and whether everything will be fine...
When we arrived in Daressalam, Mack visited us at our hotel and gave us all the important information we needed. The next day he and our guide picked us up and the journey could start. Our guide was a very very nice guy (Joak) who always took care of us and wanted to make out the best of our trip. He showed and described us all the beautiful plants and wild animals, that was amazing.
The lodges where we stayed overnight were comfortable and in good condition. The whole trip was very well organized and planned. We had a great time in Tanzania and enjoyed it a lot.
The money you spend on such a trip is absolutely worth it....!!!
