Trip of a lifetime!
This was a trip of a life time and I am so grateful that we had Masingira Safaris as our guides. Jacob and his team were excellent in every way. They took care of all the lodging and transportation. Making sure our group of 32 were taken care of. Everything from the lodging to our experience in the Serengeti were perfect. I cannot wait to come back. There is so much more I want to explore in Tanzania. Thank you Jacob for making this an unforgettable trip. I can’t wait to return.

Top notch and professional
Our trip and Safari was amazing. Jacob and all the guides were the best to make sure everyone had a chance of a lifetime experience. Our guide Adam was very knowledgeable of not only where to go to see the most animals but also all the details about them. We would tell him the next animals we wanted to see and every time we would see them almost immediately. We kidded with him that he had them caged up just for when he called up. We had a big group with us and had multiple guides for the group. Everyone in the group had the same positive experience. Adam also had a great relationship with guides from other companies and would check in with them to see what animals they had seen to make sure our day was full. I cannot say enough good about the whole experience. We left feeling like we were leaving friends we had forever and will be looking forward to joining them again for our next adventure. Our daughter booked her and 2 friends on to a Safari using Mazingira and suggest both my wife and I join them, from the first email to Johari to the last transaction the communication was excellent everything we asked for was no trouble at all.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro airport we were greeted by Daniel our guide for the next 5 days he was very informative about the up and coming days and when we arrived at the lodge he was there to help with our booking in and stayed at the lodge for an hour to ensure everything was ok and we were happy, later that day he collected our daughter and her 2 friends from the airport and his service was just the same with the girls.
The safari lodges we stayed in where perfect the staff helpful and friendly, Daniel was an early riser and asked us to follow suit as he said you can see a lot more during the early morning and was he right we had stunning sunrise pictures, and seen all sorts of animals roaming, I swear Daniel can spot a fly on a zebra nose from ½ mile away he missed nothing and know all the best areas to view.
He had the awareness to shop at washrooms before we asked he ensured we had seats to sit on at the lunch stops all in all we cannot fault Daniel as a guide / driver I would be asking for him again if we return with friends and would be using Mazingira for our trip.
All in all his was our first Safari and I would like to thank Johari and Daniel for making it a life experience

Life time experience, you will fall in love with earth
Just finished the Kenya & Tanzania Safari Arranged by Mazingire. The sales Lady johari, is very accountable person and reply promptly every day before the trip via WhatsApp, made me feel reliable.
And our tour guide Novel in Kenya is nice and diligent who show us a lot of animals, the grant immigration is amazing and you will fall in love with the earth immediately. I suggest you spent more days in Kenya if you have more time.
Our tour guide in Tanzania, Daniel is very cool and he is confident, warmhearted, professional and direct. I told him that we have seen all the animals in Kenya, and in Tanzania I like to see crossing, hurting, eating, and mating. ☺️ and we made them all.
Danial got it, and we waited patiently for gnu along the bank for 2 hours and he made prefect judgement for timing and position, and we just see the impressive crossing right in front our eyes. It is life time experience for me and my four kids😎
If you are not sure about whether to wait or go, then just trust Daniel! ☺️ I can feel the drive from his heart that he just wants to show you the best of Tanzania, the home that he is so proud of.
He got great position for us to see 3 leopards hunting antelope. And one leopard eating her food. It was a wonderful journey. Life time memory.
He know almost everyone on the road and help other driver to fix car. We are proud of him. I will suggest you specify to appoint him as you guide. It makes difference.

One tip, balloons is fun but if you are taking balloons in late July to early August, north of Mara river is better than south.

Fabulous from START (6 months earlier planning with Johari) to FINISH (tearful goodbye with Goodluck at the airport! ) I feel so fortunate to have found Jacob's company amidst hundreds of safari companies. Mazingira's attention to detail and commitment to eco awareness is wonderful. Our guide, Goodluck, is a treasure. Knowledgable, respectful, fun, low key, and a helluva driver! I had one of the most fun experiences of my life in his land cruiser with the wildebeests!
In addition to the fantastic 7 night safari we booked, Jacob and Johari helped me out even before I knew I needed it. I just happened to mention when we met about our plans at the end of the safari. I thought we could just catch a cab. Thank God for local knowledge! Our destination was a difficult one to get to. They arranged for Goodluck to stay with us for 2 more days!
This was by far the most relaxing, in the moment trip I have ever had.
There is no question - we will be returning to Tanzania, and absolutely no question that we will be returning to Mazingira. Asante sana team

We had the most amazing time with Mazingira Safaris! If you're looking for a safari in Tanzania, look no further. I know there are a zillion companies out there but this company is simply AMAZING! We just finished up a 6 day tour in Tanzania and from start to finish, it was an experience of a lifetime. From the time they picked us up at the airport (no waiting, sign displayed and ready for our arrival) to the time they dropped us off (and then were in constant contact when our flights were delayed and cancelled and helped us find accommodation until the next day when flights actually left) we never once felt like we were customers; we felt like we were family and their absolute number one priority. Simon (our guide) is incredible! I swear he can spot a lion in a tree half a mile away! I highly recommend him if you're able to request your guide. They picked impeccable accommodations throughout the trip, anticipated our needs, answered seemingly limitless questions, and made the trip so fun. Johari was fabulous at ensuring we had support at every step along the way. It's incredibly clear that Jacob has built a company that he takes pride in and he knows what reputation and treating customer well does for his business. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company for your safari!

Mazingira Safari, along with Johari, Jacob and Simon (our guide) provided an exceptional customized safari for us for 6 days in May 2024. Highly recommend them and the tours are all customizable! They went above and beyond to ensure our safety, comfort and joy - throughout the entire trip. Simon was our guide - absolute best!
