Holiday of a lifetime. Best experience!
Abraham's company offers excellent value for money and a really personalised service. Attentive and reassuring he made it so easy for us to book and he listened to what we wanted as well as sorting out our ongoing stay in Zanzibar.
The accommodation he sourced was gorgeous and the food was out of this world. Lovely packed lunch every day and we were greeted with hot towels, drinks and beautiful food every night.
Our guide Ayubu deserves some kind of medal for his knowledge. He has a vast knowledge of the area and was able to tell us absolutely everything about everything!
These guys felt like family at the end of our trip and I cannot recommend them enough. Reliable, flexible - the best.

Exceptional
I wanted to go on safari but with specific criteria. I wanted it to be with a local company, in a Landrover and to sleep in tents. African Travel Tour provided all that and more.
We were picked up from the airport and taken to our hotel where Abraham himself came to greet us and run through the itinerary of our trip. The next morning our guide Ayobo arrived - in the Landrover!
He is an exceptional guide with tremendous eyesight and his knowledge of the Parks and the animals made such a difference to our enjoyment of the trip. He made sure that we were safely in the vehicle before we set off and that we had comfort breaks at regular intervals. (They have really good toilet facilities all with an attendant so they are really clean)
The roads are not for the faint hearted - with deep ruts and mud in places - and although we spent all day being bounced around it was fabulous. We saw all the animals we wanted to see - and more besides - some of them really close up.
Our accommodation in the tents was very comfortable (double bed, bathroom etc) and enabled us to hear the sounds of the Serengeti at night. Truly magical.
We decided to start out early each morning so we could see the animals before they sort shade from the heat of the day - and it was well worth it.
If anyone is considering a safari I couldn't recommend African Travel Tour highly enough. Not only were we looked after extremely well - but on our return Abraham met us at the hotel to check we had had a great time. Really personal service.
