Owner of the tour company, Mwajabu, is a very special person who made my trip Tanzania memorable.
Tanzania Mwaganza Safari, operated by the ever so wonderful Mwajabu, arranged all of my tours in Tanzania. She was very easy to deal with. She and I were in communication months ahead my travel date. Her personality is so positive that I managed to strike a genuine friendship with her. My excursions included Gombe Island, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and city tour of Dar es Salaam. There were a few hickups here and there but it was not the tour company's fault. Regardless of whose fault it was, Mwajabu was always ready to assist. She is a person with a good heart ❤️. If you want to deal with a tour company that will care for your well being and strive to give you the best experience, please book with Tanzania Mwangaza Safari.

Good
Had a great time on the safari and saw all the beautiful animals , however taxi driver that drive us to and from the airport was slightly rude. Other than that the whole experience was amazing

It was great
It's something everyone should do in their life. The team is very good. Company owner Mwajabu was very interested in us. We went to his office ourselves. We saw the place and agreed. We went to Mikumi national park. Lucky for us, we saw almost all the animals. Lion, zebra, giraffe, hippo, elephant etc. My wife and I went. Both the guides and the driver, the whole team were very good. I recommend

Day safari trip - couldn't have hoped for more
We were a family group of 6 and I had booked a day safari before we left. The information provided me beforehand was so helpful and booking easy.
Communication in preparation for the day was perfect and on the day everything was so smooth and easy. Each switch over the person was waiting for us and we didn't need to worry. The small plane in itself was an amazing experience.
Makumi national park is totally brilliant. We saw all the animals and Robinson our guide had so much interesting information about the animals, the birds and the plants.
Overall, I can't recommend this company enough. They made everything easy and we had a day we will never forget
Professional, prompt and trustworthy.
Booked direct as i was recommended by a friend. A 5 day, 4 night, transfer from Zanzibar safari.
Being a solo female traveller I felt very safe from start to finish. All my questions and concerns for answered promptly and everything was made clear before and during my trip.
As i went during low season, i wasn’t just dealing with one guide, which wasn’t a problem for me as every guide was professional and reassured me, however maybe if you were travelling with children you’d prefer just one as this wasn’t made clear before the trip.
From the taxi picking me up from my hotel in zanzibar, being greeted in Arusha, everything was smooth.
The guides themselves were very professional and the chef was amazing! He made everything vegan for me so i didn’t miss out. Big thanks to James, Barak, Dennis and Ibrahim!
The only minor hiccup i had was with my flight back, but they were on hand to help and sorted the problem within 10 minutes. Always checking in via whatsapp making sure i was okay!
Also, remember it’s a lot more laid back here, and sometimes you have to go with the flow and embrace ‘hakuna matata’. My itinerary didn’t go in the exact order but i did do everything that was promised, things change last minute, weather, guides, plans etc but it was all under control. Just relax!
Thank you for an amazing time and forever memories!

Great safari to see it all!
Great safari experience. After early Dar pickup and drive to Mikumi, we saw plenty of animals even before entering the park. Driver was experienced to/from the park. Once inside the park, immediately experienced a plethora of wildlife. Much in the am, then more in the afternoon (after a pleasurable lunch).
We'd have to say, a memorable experience. One we would definitely do again!
The best!

More than just a safari
We were impressed with the family run Mwangaza Safari right from our very first dealings with Mwajabu, the kind and no nonsense owner of the company. She was right on every detail and responded to our Whatsapps efficiently no matter what the time of day. We chose a 3 day/2 night safari which was excellent value and effectively gave us an extra day due to the 03.30 pick up! (which is something no other operator appeared to offer). We saw plenty of animals in Mikumi but we actually probably preferred the second day in Udzungwa park where we hiked through a rain forest to an idyllic waterfall. We saw a local Masi tribe on the 3rd day.
Mwajabu's son (Adeibe) was our personal driver for the 3 days and he passed us onto very personable and knowledgeable guides for the 3 days. The accommodation was changed at the last moment but we ended up at the newly opened Tan-Swiss hotel in Mikumi which if anything was probably an upgrade to the advertised Camp Bastian. Adeibe was a careful and considerate driver despite the 6 hours each way from Dar es Salaam.
Mwajabu further impressed after the safari and showed her extensive knowledge of Tanzania and Zambia by arranging transport for us to bridge the gap between Tazara trains, which were not running over the Zambian border at the time of our visit.
Overall I would not hesitate to recommend Mwangaza and in particular its efficient owner Mwajabu.
