Great Mikumi and Udzungwa tour!
My husband and I opted for a 4-day/ 3-night tour and had a great time. From the time we were picked up in Dar-es-Salaam to when we were dropped back, it was a really smooth experience except for one hiccup. We were told a few days before the trip that the originally planned stay Camp Bastian was overbooked and they would put us up in a different hotel. This hotel unfortunately did not have the same facilities as the other one (bar, pool, etc.) and we still had to go to Camp Bastian for only the meals which was a bit tiresome. The safari and the hike up to Udzungwa falls were however, amazing. Truly unforgettable experiences. Madame Sultan, all our guides, the hotel staff and really everyone we met during our holiday were friendly and helpful. Tanzania is a beautiful country and we can't wait to go back!

A little misleading, not fully upfront about pricing or format of your.
Overall, the tour itself is fantastic. The guide was great, and the driver is very polite. He did stop quite a few times for personal errands, but otherwise was great. Safari needs to be paid in cash, which I was unaware of during booking, so make sure you have plenty of cash! Also, it is not a group tour, as described. It is an individual service, so be aware if traveling alone!

Lacked detailed communication but was a good trip.
We booked a 1 day trip to Selous from Zanzibar.
- Ask for discount right away. This tour was more expensive than others.
- Communication was prompt but lacked details about the trip. I like to know details about what happens before and during safari. Especially because I had children with us.
Our driver was prompt and professional (from One Africa). He took us to the airport cafe Johazi where we had breakfast (coffee and croissant) as we waited for our other members. They then presented us with the ticket and there were flights of 13 people per flight going to Selous. The 8hrs start when you land in Selous. Bathrooms are available at the airport. While on safari there are two stops planned. 1 for coffee and 1 for lunch. Bathrooms are going behind the bushes. There is one port o potty at lunch. Guides have waters and soda in each Jeep. We saw many animals but no lion. Apparently lions are easier to see at Mikumi.
Overall the tour I booked was fun and smooth but I wonder if I could have booked the same tour through someone with more details about the tour. Then I would have felt more at ease about what to expect.

perfect organization
I texted them for a visit in Gombe NP and immediately got an answer. They organized me a day trip for the next day, connected me to a very nice guide, and even provided me vegetarian food on request. The guide then picked me up early in the morning from Kigoma. We saw a lot of chimpanzees and other monkeys and the guide could give me a lot of information about them. I could then spend the rest of the day on the beautiful beach at Gombe NP.
To sum up, it was an amazing day with perfect organization.
The only minor disadvantage was the prize. Although, they were adapting it to my low travel budget, I found it still a little bit expensive. However, the good thing was, that everything was already included (breakfast, lunch, boat cost, entrance fees, guide and pickup from hotel)
