Wonderful experience from first contact until the end
My family and I wanted to experience a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Tanzania. Being eight people of different age, we naturally had various opinions and needs regarding the itinerary of our 6-day safari. All the more we appreciated the uncomplicated and friendly communication with KASC from the first contact.
The initial offer was worked out quickly and clearly and could be adapted several times based on our ideas. Aenea, the owner of the company, was always helpful and even available by phone for preliminary questions. We also found KASC to be very fair in terms of the price for the entire (high-standard) program compared to other organizers.
Due to the size of our group, we were divided into two jeeps of four people each and thus accompanied by two guides. The last-mentioned guys, Alex and Gaesper, were simply outstanding! They gave us a safe feeling at all times, answered all our questions (and there were surely many) with great friendliness, managed to introduce us to all the Big-5, and never refused a wish despite sometimes long and tiring driving distances. Their knowledge about Tanzania, culture, people, flora and fauna is impressive. They even taught us some words and phrases in Swahili (Asante sana marafiki!) and ended up being a major factor in the success of our wonderful time.
Our tour consisted of airport transfers, a day in Tarangiri National Park, two days in the Serengeti, a few-hour stop in the Ngorongoro Crater, and a cultural tour at the end. The respective accommodations were Ilboru Lodge in Arusha, Farm of Dreams in Karatu and Serengeti Heritage. Especially the stays at the Farm of Dreams and the Serengeti Heritage exceeded our expectations and were very special and unique. Only for the nights in Arusha we would rather choose another hotel in the future due to substandard food, lack of wifi and rather rudimentary room facilities.
Regarding the parks, we liked the days in Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater the best. Tarangire Park was nice as a start, but is the one I would most likely skip if we were short on time.
As for the cultural social program, we visited a Maasai village on the way to the Serengeti and a coffee farm at the Meru tribe the day before we continued our journey to Zanzibar. Both experiences were very special and absolutely recommendable. The owner and guide during the coffee tour Clemens was extremely nice and showed us from the bean to the hot cup how coffee is made - just great! Only for the optional subsequent walk to the nearby waterfall visitors should pay attention to a good physical condition, suitable footwear and dry weather. We were unfortunately not optimally prepared here, haha.
All in all, Alex, Gaesper and the team of Kilimanjaro Adventure Safari Club managed to give us a unique and unforgettable experience in the Northern Circuit of Tanzania. I would unconditionally recommend the guys and the organization to anyone and can only say THANK YOU.

Amazing Safari experience! Excellent guide
We had an amazing 6 day Safari trip with Kilimanjaro adventure tours. They were very responsive during the whole booking process and I felt confident trusting them before we arrived. Our guide, Gasper, picked us up from the airport and we liked him right away. He was super fun and knowledgeable and was great with my kids (who asked a lot of questions). It was the trip of a lifetime! Thank you, Gasper and Kilimanjaro!

Professional and friendly.
Gasper was exactly the guide we wanted. We have 12 and 15 year old boys. The older is very quiet and younger is very talkative. A 6 day safari is a lot of togetherness and Gasper managed us well. There are many competent, professional guides, but the special ones feel more like a friend by the end. Gasper is that kind of guide. Patient answering all the questions a 12 year old can think of, even the repeat ones. Funny, informative, and a clear passion for the work. He loves it and it’s very obvious. Thanks, again Gasper for an incredible experience.

10/10 recommend
My partner and I booked the 5 day safari with Kilimanjaro Adventure Safari Club at the beginning of June. We had an amazing experience with the company from the moment of booking to the very end of our trip. Makonide, the director, made us feel at home straight away and was very friendly and helpful when were deciding when to travel to Tanzania. Our guide, Denis, was incredible and knew exactly where to drive us in the natural reserves so that we would have the best shot at seeing the animals. We even managed to see the very rare rhino thanks to Denis and his tricks. What was really nice is that we didn't have to plan or book anything ourselves.
We were very happy with the accommodations they booked for us, including a night of glamping in the Serengeti. In all the places we stayed at the hospitality was great and the rooms were very comfortable.
We had lunch and (cold) water provided each day. We had more than enough food to fill us, and while the food varied, it mostly consisted of: fruit, fruit juice, some chocolate/biscuits, nuts (if the monkeys don't steal them), roast chicken and sandwiches.
In addition to the safari, Denis proposed visiting a Maasai tribe, a nomadic farming people, and proposed visiting a coffee plantation. We walked through the coffee farms with the local guide, Clemens, who taught us about the process of making coffee. We ended the visit by making our own coffee from the dry bean and took it back to the UK with us.
On our final day, Denis drove us to the airport where we found our flight had been delayed and moved to a different airport! Without asking for any additional fees, Denis stayed with us that afternoon and showed us around the local markets until our later flight time - we would have been completely stuffed without him and his colleague Mary.
Why should you chose this company over others? Kilimanjaro Adventure Safari Club is a well organised company and you can tell that Makonide really values the experience of his clients because he will pair you up with someone like our incredible guide Denis, who was accommodating for any other requests we had (buying a SIM card for internet, withdrawing currency etc), and who really went above and beyond when our flight was cancelled.

Well arranged and chinese friendly with great guild
Kilimanjaro adventure is a great club as our host in tanzania. We have meet Alex(our guild) in the airport and he shares a lots of info during our way back to help us understand the country. We start our fantastic journey from Arusha to Serengeti. Alex knows how to track animals to get us close and get a clean shot. We are so luck to see the wildbeast cross the river, the big five and all other precious scene. During the roads, Alex drives carefully since there were three girls in the car. Most importantly, He loves china and we talk a lot about different cultures.
The trip is totally mind blowing. Everyday is a blessing that you will not regrat!

An amazing and one of a kind experience
From the moment we landed in Arusha we immediately felt the welcoming vibe of the country. This feeling was even more enhanced when we met our tour guide, Sifuni. He was kind, accommodating and knowledgeable.
He took us quickly from the airport to the hotel and showed us all of the landmarks and areas along the way. The next morning he picked us up bright and early to begin our journey. We started at Tarangire National Park, then proceeded to Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Lake Manyara, where we were able to see many different animals including elephants and giraffes. Sifuni detailed amazing facts about each animal and other interesting facts along the way.
Aside from the national parks , the lodging accommodations were also extremely fantastic. Each lodge and camp was unique with an amazing staff and amenities. With the visit to these national parks being a lifelong dream of mine I am more than happy and satisfied with how the tour and trip went. I would go back in an instant.
Thank you Sifuni!

An Unforgettable Trip!
I want to start off by saying KASC is not offering any incentive to post positive reviews, this is our unbiased opinion.
For our honeymoon, my Wife and I did a 5 day/4 night safari through Kilimanjaro Adventure Safari Club. We arrived in Arusha and visited Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, and Lake Manyara. Every step of the process, from the logistics and communication, to the actual safari itself, our Guide, Gasper, the lodging, the professionalism, was all above and beyond what we were expecting. I’ll break down the highlights below by category but overall, I would not hesitate to recommend KASC to anyone looking to take on a Tanzanian safari.
Booking and Communication:
We took our time when deciding which company to go with but ultimately decided on KASC, mostly because of our budget and what they could offer at our price point. They were very helpful through the booking process and it was very easy to make all the payments online. They were very quick to respond to all of our questions, especially considering the time difference. We actually asked our guide about this during the safari and he said they have people in the office that stay up to answer emails during the US workday. My Wife is pescatarian and we were slightly worried that her food options would be limited while we were staying at lodges or camps. KASC assured us this wouldn’t be an issue at all and they were right. I think we would have been fine even if we didn’t say anything about her diet, as all lodges had ample vegetarian options. Either way, it was clear that KASC had notified every lodge in advance because they all had a record of it and made sure she had plenty of options. KASC also moved us to a newer and nicer tented lodge in the Serengeti just a few weeks before our safari at no additional cost.
Guide:
Your safari guide is a huge part of your experience. You’re spending 12+ hours a day with someone in a car and are completely dependent on them for just about everything during the trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Gasper. He was, of course, very knowledgeable of the parks, animals, plants, and landscapes. He was also happy to teach us more about Tanzanian/Swahili culture. He was very adept at figuring out what we were most interested in seeing, even if we didn’t specifically tell him. As other reviews have mentioned, he does a great job at tailoring the experience to what you are wanting to get from it.
Besides being great at his job, Gasper was great to hang out with for the 5 days we were with him. He kept us surprised and entertained throughout the whole trip and by the end we were thinking of him more as a friend than a guide.
Accommodations:
Another highlight for us was the lodges/camps throughout the trip. Each stop was wonderful, from the staff, to the food, to the rooms. All of the lodges had buffet style breakfast and dinners and none of the food disappointed. We came well prepared with medicine in case we had any stomach issues but never even had to break them out. We were pretty careful about the water at all the locations as they all advised us to not drink the tap water. All the lodges were good about providing bottled water for consumption so it was never a big issue. The lodges also provided great picnic style lunches for us each day that we could have in the park. Most of our lunches were curries with rice or pasta, kept warm in an insulated picnic box.
This was a once in a lifetime trip for us and KASC and Gasper were a huge part of that. We can’t thank them enough and highly recommend them to anyone considering a trip to Tanzania.

Extremely professional tour operator and guide
We hired Kilimanjaro Adventure Safari Club for a 5-day northern circuit safari, starting and ending in Arusha and including Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara.
The entire experience was as smooth as it possibly could have been. From the very start, the company's representatives were prompt and flexible in drafting a safari plan to fit our needs. Payments and related processes were quite smooth.
When it came to the Safari, we couldn't have asked for a more professional, experienced and knowledgeable guide than Mr. Denis Frank. He led the way through the entire 5-day trip (from airport pickup till airport drop-off). There were occasions where we encountered other travelers' vehicles in difficult situations (broken down / stuck in mud), and watching Denis help others made us appreciate the experienced hands we were in. He was very punctual, respectful and warm; made us comfortable right when he picked us up and ensured that we were comfortable throughout the trip. He was also quite knowledgeable: would easily tell us which bird / animal we had spotted and would go the extra mile to make sure we got a chance to spot rare ones as well. Because of his efforts and our luck, we were able to spot the Big 5, despite it being the low season.
Price-wise, it's hard to beat them. Accommodations were top-class with excellent hospitality all throughout. Our dietary restrictions (vegetarianism) were followed with care.
Overall, the entire ship is run like a well-oiled machine, and I would strongly recommend this company, and in particular, our guide, Denis.

Great experience
I've asked and compared 4 offers from different agencies, and finally I'm happy to have chosen Kilimanjaro Adventure Safari! Couldn't do a better choice.
Our tour was starting from Arusha, including 1 day at Tarangire, two and a half at Serengeti, then Ngorongoro and finally Lake Manyara to get back to Arusha. Our guide was Yao, an experienced guide, ready to give us all the advices and to look for the wildlife. We've seen all we aimed to see and the Safary at the Sunrise was amazing.
All the places we've slept were super nice and confortable. The car was always clean and with plenty of water.
Thanks again to Yao, to Prince that was super-reactive to answer all our questions and to Mr. Makoninde that came to welcome us on our arrival.
You won't regret this choice!

Best Safari Tour + Gorilla Trekking - a dream came true for us thanks to this agency
First of all, I would like to thank Adam and Makoninde for this wonderful trip. Makoninde planned everything with us (father, daughters 13 and 21) via email and tailored the accommodation and tours exactly to our needs and wishes. He also provided an all-round service with his team.
Adam picked us up directly at the airport on the first day and we were ready to go on the second day. We always had super food with us and also the jeep was very comfortable and equipped with everything you need. Adam took us to the most beautiful and fascinating places with his knowledge. We had the opportunity to observe the animals up close, to accompany them and to experience them in their natural environment.
Adam always listened to our wishes and spontaneously changed the tours to suit our needs.
We always had the opportunity to be in contact with Makoninde and he helped and answered all our questions immediately.
In addition, he even helped us with the hotel search and booking in Zanzibar and took over the communication for us. He always inquired whether we were doing well, which meant that we were always well looked after.
Thanks to this agency we had by far the most beautiful trip to Africa you can imagine.
Some key data about our tour:
First 7 days we spent on safari with Adam after that we went to Rwanda for gorilla trekking which was also fully organised by Makoninde. After that we went to Zanzibar for another 6 days.
The Payment was super safe and the price was more that just appropriate for everything we were able to do and see.
In this sense, we would like to thank you again.
Best regards from Germany
