Absolutely the best!
I was on Safari for 3 months with 10 different operators and agents. None of them can compare to what Safari Specialists did for us. Lisa was the best right from the start in customizing our trip. We had 3 separate parts to out adventure with them. She always kept us up to date and if she wasn't around Erica stepped in and took care of things. We were greeted at the airport in Maun and presented with information & guide books that no one else provided. When we had problems Lisa was always there and stood up for us and kept us constantly informed. We even received a big refund on one of the Safaris when there were major problems. I have never written a review before but Lisa was so good that I had to write this. I highly recommend Safari Specialists to anyone for any trip. I just wish they were in Tanzania & Kenya as well. Fantastic experience!
I did the vintage safari in Botswana with Safari Specialist. Everything was well organized. Lisa was very good at explaining to me every detail of my safari, attentive to every need and everything worked perfectly. Ask for Nadine!
My boyfriend and I booked a combined Botswana/Mozambique trip through Safari Specialists. Our agent was Nadine. I have to say this: book with Nadine! She was excellent. We were definitely needy clients--emailing 2-5x a day, changing the extent and locations of our stay more than once. When my boyfriend needed WiFi in the Okavango Delta, she found us a camp within our price range with reliable WiFi. She never pushed an itinerary outside of our price range on us like other agents and consistently worked with our needs. Nadine put together the most amazing itinerary that checked all of our boxes: game drives, mokoro rides, WiFi, walking safaris, dhow rides, snorkeling, and more. The trip itself was a blast, and incredibly smooth--we never felt like our agent left us out in the cold. Nadine has been amazing to us! We are beyond thankful.

Simply the best!!
Our booking process exceeded all our expectations. We had a rough plan what to do and our agent Nadine came up with a lot ofsuggestions on how to do our trip. She answered a multitude of e-mails with thoroughness, insight and patience with our numerous questions. We never waited longer than a few hours for her answer!
The safari camps and tours she recommended were incredible. We chose: Somalisa Expeditions Camp, Chobe Elephant Camp, BAtonka Guest Lodge and Pelo Camp! The accommodations were what we expected (or better) and the game drives and guides were absolutely amazing.
All in all was the quality of accommodation, service, meals and activities well above what we expected!
The staff at each camp made us feel like family. We can't wait to go back and see new places.
We will plan our next safari with "Safari Specialists" again!

Awesome in every way!
After doing some research on the internet we were eventually referred to and contacted Safari specialist. That same day I received an email back from one of their travel planners Joanne offering her assistance in booking our vacation to Africa. We provided Joanne with some basic information about who we were and what we were interested in doing on this trip along with an estimated budget. Joanne's response was amazing her knowledge and suggestions regarding our trip were invaluable. She always promptly responded to any of our questions and concerns. We even contacted her by skype to discuss our trip. I can't say enough about how beneficial she was towards making our trip one of the best experiences ever. Upon our return my wife and I definitely agreed that Joanne's advice and guidance had us fully prepared for all aspects of the trip. All of her bookings for lodging, activities and flights were exceptional and proceeded without any issues. My only concern during this whole process was sending the money by wire transfer to avoid credit card fees but that as well took place without incident. I would highly recommend Joanne and Safari specialist to assist in planning your trip no matter what your budget or itinerary consist of they will provide excellent service.

Very responsive and proactive in suggesting ideas and proposals
The service was excellent, I received very quick responses to all my queries. For me it was perfect since I had to plan my safari (with restricted budget) in less than a week and without the help of Safari Specialists I would not have been able to do it. They gave me answers to all my questions and also suggestions with which I could make a final decision on the duration and type of safari I wanted to do. I did a total 10 day safari, 3 of which was a walking safari in the Okovongo delta and the remaining seven were a non participating mobile safari, which helped to make the price not so high but at the same time travel comfortably.

Lisa was knowledgeable about the Kwando camps and provided good suggestions to make the most of our safari. She did a great job communicating and answered all of our questions about what to expect. The safari was wonderful with no hiccups :).

More helpful than I could have imagined.
Our booking agent exceeded our expectations. Her suggestions on how to plain our trip, from as simple as whether to go east or west, to which camps to stay at. She answered a multitude of e-mails with thoroughness, insight and patience with our numerous questions. We were thrilled when she met use at the Maun airport and even there was helpful directing us to a great place to eat while we waited for our next flight.

A memorable trip arranged by Safari Specialists
Safari Specialists was a fantastic choice! They were responsive to my interests and budget, and I appreciated their honesty about what I could expect to see in the month of March in Botswana (wet season).
