3 day Maasai Mara safari
5/5

We did a 3 day safari just last month, and had a great time. We planned everything through Beacon Safaris.
The airport pick up and drop off, the first day excursions and the safari went off without a hitch.
Robert was extremely helpful in suggesting places to visit and arranging transportation and entry for everywhere we went during our time in Nairobi.
Fred, our safari driver was very knowledgeable and did a great job finding the BIg 5 for us in just one day.
The hotel ( the Sopa Lodge) was recommended by Robert and was excellent. Food was great, staff were great and the hotel was exactly what I was hoping for.
I have already recommended Beacon to a friend who is planning a safari and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic Holiday
5/5

My wife and I took an 8 days best of Kenya safari after a discussion with Robert, true to his word the safari didn't disappoint. We experienced some stunning sightings that we never expected, we didn't even expect to be so close to the animals. Our guide Humfrey was very knowledgeable and responded to our queries and was very important in making our holiday a success.

Thanks to Beacon Safaris
5/5

Informative and helpful pre-booking support from Robert helped us finally settle on a 7 days safari with Beacon Safaris. First day we were introduced to herds of free-ranging elephants and a lot of wild animals, An early start the next day was rewarded with amazing views of Kilimanjaro. None of the 7 days was disappointing each day was full of wildlife thrills awaiting us. We were happy with the safari and loved every minute of the little time we had in Kenya.

Absolutely Amazing!!! Best experience/holiday ever!!!
5/5

Myself, my husband, grown up son and niece have just had the most fantastic holiday which met all our expectations and more thanks to Robert and Kenny at Beacon safaris.
All I can say is I couldn't have wished for anything better.
When I booked this holiday I was a bit sceptical as all the contact I had was by email where as I usually book a holiday package with a well known tour operator but Robert was very professionally and informative, I had searched through all the usual holiday companies well known in the UK to see what they could offer but we could only travel on certain days for a limited time due to my husbands work commitments and to fit as much as we could in whilst we was there, this proved to be impossible to arrange with no flexibility on either parts so I decided I would have to look further afield.
Beacon Safaris offered exactly what I was looking for which was The 8 day Best of Kenya Safari and said they could be flexible with dates too!
I arranged the flights and our hotel for the first night but Robert said he could do it for me if I wanted, because of our flight time we couldn't start our safari the same day which I think was good as we were all tired however Robert arranged for us to visit animal sanctuaries and orphanages on that day which was great and at a very good price.
From arriving at the airport to returning after the safari we had our same driver/ guide Kenny who we all thought was amazing we felt sure we got a better deal than any one else with his experience and knowledge, he definitely made our safari extra special and can't thank him enough!
We couldn't have asked for two better companions, Robert and Kenny were fab, helpful, polite and very knowledgeable.
All our accommodation was fantastic, clean, food was good and staff always so helpful and all the game drives were amazing, always different. We couldn't believe the amount of wildlife we saw and how lucky to have the opportunity to experience these animals living in their own habitat , we got some amazing photos without fancy cameras just using our I phones but I would recommend a good camera too.
I would have no worries recommending Beacon Safaries to anyone
Once again I would like to thank Robert and Kenny for making the experience extra special.

Excellent services from initial contact through to delivery to airport for our flight back home.
5/5

Beacon Safaris (www.beaconsafaris.com) organised an extremely exciting and memorable safari for my family and me. There were four of us in the group and we went on an 8-day/7-night tour to Mount Kenya, Ol Pajeta / Sweetwater, Samburu, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara.

I was impressed with Robert's services from the very initial contact when I inquired about the safaris that Beacon offered. I started out with very vague ideas about going on a safari. Robert gave me all the useful information to help me decide on the right safari itinerary that suit my interests, time constraint and budget. Furthermore, Robert was always very prompt in responding to our e-mail exchanges. Robert booked us at Serena (Mount Kenya and Sweetwater), Sopa (Samburu and Masai Mara) and Flamingo (Lake Nakuru) lodges, all of which turned out to be excellent choices of accommodation for our budget.

For the safari itself, Robert assigned Kenneth Ngugi to take care of my group, and we are ever so pleased with this perfect gentleman. The Toyota Hi-Ace 4-wheel-drive was in very good condition, and we felt perfectly safe with Kenneth's careful defensive driving, both on the highways as well as during the safari game drives. Due to his skills and experience as a safari guide plus the collaborations among the safari guides at each game drive location, Robert was able to show us all the Big-Fives, even the elusive leopard (of which we saw only one). On one occasion, we witnessed a Cape buffalo downed and killed by a pride of 14 lionesses and young lions. Wow!!!

I recommend Beacon Safaris for safari trip in Kenya without any hesitation.

Simply Amazing, the best vacation we ever had !
5/5

From the first moment I made contact with the owner Robert, his professionalism and attention to detail was superb. I gave him my hopes and wishes for our first Safari, he returned with multiple intelligent ideas to maximize our time and maintain our budget.
From the moment we were met at the airport in Nairobi ,everything was perfectly executed as planned.
Our guide for the safari , Antony was cheerful, intelligent, punctual and safe. He is mainly the reason why I think we had such a great time. His professionalism and ability to really understand what we wanted from our first Safari made our experience Amazing ! We were sitting by a cheetah and her two cubs 10 minutes after being picked up from the Masi Mara airstrip, and the adventure never stopped . The ability to chat with Antony and tell him what we wanted everyday and his expert knowledge and passion to share his beautiful country with us was priceless.
I cannot say enough great things about Beacon Safaris. Everything was Perfect !
Communication- Excellent
Customer Service- Excellent
Budget - on target
One of my biggest demands is punctuality, and this trip was like a well orchestrated theater production.
Was better than we imagined !
Thank you Beacon Safaris

It was our 1st trip to Masai Mara and photography is our passion. Robert did a great job by putting us to Ashton Chris who was our guide . Ashton , drove with heart and showed us the best action in the wild Mara. It was a great experience . We stayed in Mara for 7 nights and were able to click thousands of pictures . I would always prefer to go through Beacon safaris and would always take Ashton with us every time we make a trip. Thank you soo much guys for doing a great job.

Amazing first safari w/ Anthony. Would definitely recommend!
5/5

My parents and I decided to do our first safari for my mom's 50th birthday. When we arrived in Nairobi, Robert and Anthony picked us up in a beautiful 4x4 to take us on our trip. Throughout the journey, Anthony was the perfect tour guide, smart, funny, and punctual. He knew the park extremely well, so we got to see all of the animals we wanted. Within ten minutes of entering Masai Mara, we saw a leopard! The next day, we saw 4 lions, 5 lion cubs, 6 cheetahs, and more! Anthony recommended we wait by 4 of the cheetahs because it looked like they were about to hunt. He ended up being right: we saw the four attack and kill a gazelle, which was definitely the highlight of the trip.

Would definitely recommend Anthony and Beacon Safaris for an incredible time!

Great Experience in Nairobi National Park
5/5

I'm in Kenya for a short work trip and was connected with Robert and Beacon Safaris to arrange an excursion in Nairobi National Park and the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. Robert and guide/driver John picked me up in the early morning in a cool, customized van (roof pops up so that you can stand, spot wildlife and take pictures). Robert was truly professional and John very knowledgeable about the animals in the park. We arrived at the park just before 6:30 am and I would recommend that anyone else do the same; it's harder to see any animals after around 9:30. We spotted rhinos, hartebeest, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, gazelle, impala, elan, lions, and lots of various birds including ostriches. It was exciting bounding around the park with John and Robert when animal sightings came across the radio. The elephant orphanage is also an essential life experience. Beacon was professional, punctual, and courteous, I would happily book another tour with them in the future.
