Really great safari with great company!
Booked at last minute having been scammed by another company. Robert was an excellent communicator who arranged a 9 day safari in 48 hours! (Fortunately he had availability). Everything about the trip was excellent. Picked up at airport; taken to hotel for one night stay; picked up following morning for magical safari where we saw the big 5 plus much, much more. Driver/guide was Anthony who was excellent. Friendly; well informed on wildlife; very good driver. A pleasure to spend 9 days in his company!
I have no hesitation in recommending Beacon Safaris as a thoroughly professional and competent company and also highly recommend Anthony as an excellent guide!

4 days Masai Mara and Nakuru safari
We are extremely pleased that we select Beacon Safari. They are very professional and ethical. Our guide come driver Edwin (4x4 Land cruiser) was very decent and good. Robert the owner picked our late arrival bag from Nairobi airport and delivered it to us in Nakuru. Robert was very prompt in email reply before commence of safari.

Perfect experience
We visited Masai Mara in June 2017 and returned home with fantastic memories.
First of all our driver John was one of the main reasons for our successful trip. Our trip started with a timely pick-up from the hotel. During the trip to Masai Mara and the safari game drives John have been very informative and told us of the fun experiences he had on other game drives, about the animals and Africa in general. He was great at spotting the animals, as well as using walkies to get notified of where the animals were, and racing through Masai Mara to spot them. We were lucky to see all of the big 5 animals and take plenty of pictures. Thank you John! :)
Apart from that we stayed at the great camp, Ashnil Mara. The camp was situated at the heart of Masai Mara, so the game drives started as soon as we drove out of the camp. The camp is located by the Mara river, where we could watch the animals come by. We lived in luxurious tents, which were both beautiful and comfy. The food was great and plenty. In the evenings we could relax outside by the fire and listen to the hippo noises in the Mara river.

Execellent
We had a very good experience right from the biggening. The quick response from Robert to our emails prompted us to choose Beacon. Our guide Anthony made the four days trip a rewarding experience. we saw all big five. Infant we encountered 12 lions 9 cheetahs, 2 leopards and black and white Rhinos. Our 5 year old and 10 year old had a lovely experience. The camp stays were comfortable. We highly recommend Anthony as s guide and Beacon as your chosen Safari tour company.

Simply amazing! What an experience!
Was at Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha the wonders of Kenya. Saw the big 5, witness the lions hunting and wildebeasts crossings. Simply amazing and breathtaking views of the savannah and wildlife. Many thanks to our guide Paul, knowledgeable and very friendly. Always at the right spot at the right time. His hospitality totally enhance the experience of the trip.

Excellent - so much better than expected
Fastest back and forth communication with Beacon safaris vs. other providers.
Great explanations re pros of each camp/ using a 4x4 with no hard upselling which was much appreciated.
Excellent guide!!! Ken was easy to get along with, very polite, chatty when we wanted to chat, without being overly talkative -important as I am quite grumpy in the early morning :)
And most importantly, Ken saw it as a personal mission to get us to see the big cats and more animals. And when we didn't see as much after 1 drive, we could tell he was more disappointed than we were! We were not disappointed at all as we saw 7 cheetahs, 11 lions (male, female & cubs), the wildebeest migration and river crossing, a black rhino, hippos, elephants, zebras, giraffes and 2 live kills. We were admittedly very lucky but we also had an excellent guide.
We have already recommended Beacon Safaris to all our friends!

Excellent!!! A+
We had a wonderful 7 days taste of Kenya safari, with our guide Antony. Starting with Masai Mara and ending with Tsavo. Antony spoke very good english and shared a wealth of information about ghe animals and the culture. I would recommend Beacon to anyone and would gladly book again.

Suggest a excellent safaris choice
If you can't find the travel agents, I recommend this Beacon Safaris than you.
First, Robert is the fastest reply to my question and outspoken person. Second, the data provided are authentic (including confirmation of hotel). Third, our driver and guide , John, in addition to providing the best viewing points to facilitate outside shooting. His eyes like a Hawk-Eye-like sharp, lion also can see in the yellow jungle.
Although we can't see the great migration, but we see that major wildlife. Thank you Beacon gives a relaxing and fulfilling journey.

Everything as Promise
They were amazing from first contact to make reservation (even though our group kept changing from 10 to 9 and finally to 8 people.) The minivans with drivers at 7:00 am sharp as arranged. The drivers/guide very nice, professional but approachable. Great english, great knowledge of Masai Mara animals. We had two vans and two drivers. They made sure we stayed together and strategized when looking for the game. We saw 4 out of the big 5 on our first drive which was the evening drive in day of arrival plus zebras, cheetahs, gazelles, wildebeest, birds, and more. The second day was a full day game drive and managed to witness a wildebeest migration plus saw once again and in different positions the Lion, Elephants and Buffalo. Did not see Leopard again, but saw again cheetahs family, elephant family, girafes, zebras and many more. They were very accommodating and allowed us to take our photos an always tried to place vehicle for best view. We took a package that include tent camp Ilkeliani. The accommodations were amazing. They provided water for us during day and allowed us to take some for our meals as well. Overall a great experience and will recomend them. Our drivers were the best: John and Eustus.
