Definitely recommendable
First experience with Safari Specialists and definitely not the last. We can only say: go for it, those guys know what they are talking about. Our contact was Joanne, who was very friendly, efficient and professional.She's very quick in answering emails and was also very helpful when we had to choose the different lodges ( we specifically asked for areas with lots of predators ). We were thrilled about our 7 nights trip to the delta, our highlight being Chitabe Lediba for it's wildlife, well appointed tents and relaxed atmosphere. Flights in between camps were very well organized too.All in all very positive!

Excellent experience from start to finish!
I was a bit apprehensive about planning a trip with any company- it's always hard to know who is on the other end, where your money is going, etc. My fears were laid to rest once I started working with Nadine from Safari Specialists. Nadine helped us plan a trip of a lifetime! She worked within our budget and gave us recommendations based on her own travel experiences. Nadine went above and beyond to answer any and all questions we had - her answers were extremely detailed and we felt 100% confident in our decisions because of this. During the planning process and the trip we had the opportunity to interact with other people from Safari Specialists as well. Each person had the same level of professionalism and knowledge that Nadine did. The end result is our trip was perfectly planned with no detail overlooked. The name is appropriate- they are the Safari Specialists!

5-star safari operator! Simply the best!
We just enjoyed our second safari organized by safari specialists!
In short terms: absolutely perfect in every way! Again!
Our agent was Nadine (again) and like on our first trip she excelled again! Every question was answered in no time, she made suggestions and recommendations that were spot-on.
Her recommendations concerning the camps were on the money! We chose Tau Pan, Lagoon and Shinde. All of them were first class.
All of her bookings for lodging, activities and flights were exceptional and proceeded without any issues.
We were greeted at the airport on the way in and way out which made us feel as being part of the “family”.
We will definitely use their service again on the next trip!

Absolutely the best!
I was on Safari for 3 months with 10 different operators and agents. None of them can compare to what Safari Specialists did for us. Lisa was the best right from the start in customizing our trip. We had 3 separate parts to out adventure with them. She always kept us up to date and if she wasn't around Erica stepped in and took care of things. We were greeted at the airport in Maun and presented with information & guide books that no one else provided. When we had problems Lisa was always there and stood up for us and kept us constantly informed. We even received a big refund on one of the Safaris when there were major problems. I have never written a review before but Lisa was so good that I had to write this. I highly recommend Safari Specialists to anyone for any trip. I just wish they were in Tanzania & Kenya as well. You guys didn't just do you bit, but went above and beyond. We cannot thank you enough.
The safari itself was so well managed and planned , we have had the rear chance to see mating Lions, elephants in musth, family dynamics of a pride, hearing the roars of the pride just outside our tents, close encounters with hippos, zebra crossings ( African style - where a herd of Zebras are actually crossing ), a herd if 35 elephants joining more elephants, experiencing the calm side of a huge male buffalo up close, Hyenas scavenging during the night safaris, beautiful sunrise, exquisite sunsets and the extraordinary night sky where one can actually see one of the Magellanic clouds.
There is so much to write, but more importantly, I again thank you for making it happen and using your contacts and expertise in helping us to get the visa.

Our dealings with Safari Specialists was profesional in all aspects. Our taylor made holiday was exactly what we requested and did not disappoint rather delighted us in the quality of accommodation, service, meals and activities. Erica is outstanding and has planned numerous safaris for me
Wow! Where to start and how to describe the wonderful and outstanding help Erica has provided me for trips to Botswana and Namibia and Zambia. Erica has planned numerous safaris for me and is ALWAYS available and is incredibly responsive. She's got a great team that will meet and greet you and make your trip seamless. For first time safari goers you can absolutely trust Erica and can feel comfortable she has your best interest in mind. Most importantly, she will plan and design a safari that's right for YOU. Her first priority is to her customers. She's also got extensive experience and has been to almost all the camps in the delta. Amazing Safari Experience
My experience with Safari Specialists was great - Nadine assisted us in every possible way, catering to every request of our safari. She communicated with us over detailed emails and skype to give us insights about the different camps and regions and offered really helpful advice. At the very least, emails were responded to overnight. We ended up going to 2 camps in Botswana on Nadine's advice. Both were fantastic and offered differing experiences which we loved. In our lodge in Chobe Chilwero, we managed to get the best room with a private pool which i'm sure was in part because of the relationship with Safari Specialists. All in all, an amazing experience. Safari Specialists are fantastic at meeting every requirement of their clients. Would highly highly recommend

Friendly and Efficient
I found that the services provided by the staff (particularly Nadine) to be very efficient and friendly. Usually I had email responses overnight or at worst within 24 hours. All of our requests were considered and great patience was shown as we made numerous changes and requests to our schedules. We were stunned to be met at Maun airport by one of staff and be presented with a small gift! Everything went perfectly to plan with one very minor slip that was out of Safari Specialists control anyway. Hey all part of the adventure.
The safari (Zimbabwe and Botswana) were nothing short of spectacular and amazing. Beyond our expectations of what we would see and of how close we would be to animals. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and helpful and friendly. Vehicles clean comfortable and well maintained. Food great and plentiful.
I have no hesitation in recommending Safari Specialists and will use them again for our next African adventure, whenever that may be.
