Absolutely brilliant, for both tailoring the itinerary and then organising the entire trip.
Our trip to Namibia was a once in a lifetime visit, and the Cardboard Box Travel Shop made it a once in a lifetime experience. From understanding our requirements/must see attractions, to pulling together a bespoke itinerary, to recommending accommodation to suit our budget, to organising restaurants/excursions at each stop, to ensuring our 4WD had a second spare tyre delivered en route when the hire company did not provide a second spare at the start of the trip, and to providing full instructions with a map of our route, the Cardboard Box Travel Shop ensured everything we wanted from our holiday was in place.
We came to Namibia to experience conservation (visited the Cheetah Conservation Fund, Na'ankuse lodge) and see wildlife (Etosha), as well as experience some of the variety of landscapes and scenery (Skeleton Coast, Damaraland and the Namib Desert). We saw everything and more that we wanted to see within a two week trip, and have many photographs and wonderful memories of our time exploring the country.
Overall, I would recommend the Cardboard Box Travel Company, without hesitation, to organise your trip around Namibia.

Red Basker Self Drive - Camping trip through Namibia and Botswana
We (parents with 3 grown-up children) were on a 23days camping tour (only one lodge in the Erongo mountains) through Namibia and Botswana. The car (Toyota Hilux 4x4 with roof tents) was brand-new and excellent. From the first information through the whole booking process until helping us to deal with the cancellation of our flight home, Norelle of the Cardboardbox team was always extremely helpful, fast, reliable, friendly, efficient, and ... and .. and ... We would give 7 out of five stars, if possible! We felt in best hands, and the Cardboardbox contributed tremendously to our having a wonderful trip, full of highlights (we especially loved the different deserts and being alone in the nature). We will definitely come back to Nambia, and of course, it will be via Cardboard Box again.

Best tour operator in Namibia/Botswana - excellent staff!
We worked with Cardboard Box Travel Shop to plan our self drive honeymoon trip across Namibia and Botswana.
Allison - the consultant - is best agent I have worked with! She's always clear, straight to the point and very proactive.
She and the team have supported us in every step of the journeys, particularly in critical moments when we have been asked to find a last minute accomodations due to flight delay.

We found Cardboard Box a very professional team that helped us to plan a perfect and great travel in Namibia. Seamless trip planning!
I worked with Anke at Cardboard Box to plan a self-drive trip across Namibia. She was amazing every step of the way, from providing recommendations on our route, timeline, and lodging choices, to quickly responding to my many questions despite our very different time zones. She even helped in adjusting our car rental the day before we arrived when our travel partners let us know they packed twice as much luggage as expected. In addition, the Cardboard Box website was so helpful in providing general Africa travel advice, fun tidbits about Namibia, and inspiring me to think about the next trip I want to take! And as a final touch, their offices are beautifully located in what I can only call a little oasis in Windhoek, so for our first stop after 30 hours of traveling to get to Namibia, it was a welcomed sight. Allison was superb. Everything she booked for us was wonderful.
Allison was extremely diligent and seems to work exceptionally long hours. Email messages arrived from her long after business hours and on weekends. She pulled some bookings out of a hat that were stunning - like a waterhole chalet at Okaukuejo that could not have been closer to the waterhole. Her recommendations were spot on. Our trip was wonderful and had no snags, thanks to her.
I would highly recommend that newcomers to Namibia (or other Southern African destinations, though I haven't tested that) let The Cardboard Box arrange your entire journey.

In 2016 I'd used Cardboard Box which was an excellent experience, so I chose them again for my 2019 self drive journey to Botswana and Namibia.
I found their website useful which isn't always the case in Africa - they responded to my requests and queries completely and quickly.
All arrangements were carefully detailed and there were no surprises in the invoice - and payment was fast and easy on line.
The arrangements made were as expected or better than expected - there were no issues or hiccups - it was a pleasure to arrive trusting that everything would be as agreed.

Exceptional Service with Namibia Experts
This is the second time we have used the Cardboard Box - working with Lilly each time. The service each time has been exceptional with clear communication and support provided when needed. Booking was made easier by using their website to look at accommodation options, possible itinerary's, general information about the country and pricing.
The vehicle and all accommodation were provided seamlessly and were to the standard expected and at times more.

Going to Namibia Then Use Cardboard Box to Plan the Trip
I relied on Cardboard Box to plan our adventure in Namibia. They were extremely patient in working through all of the options. Because we were dovetailing our trip with a stint as volunteers on an elephant research site, we kept changing our dates. CB worked through all of that and found us six superb private game reserves to visit before our sojourn with the elephants. There are a hundred private game reserves in Namibia and CB picked superb ones. And they worked up an 1100 mile drive for us with reasonable distances between sites. They gave us superb briefing materials including both maps and directions that enabled us to drive without missing a turn. As I say, they were patient with us and just kept helping us and helping us. Then when our flight to Namibia was cancelled by British Air, they worked us with to reconfigure the plan to accommodate our arriving a day late. We loved Namibia and could have spent 2-3 more weeks there. CB is definitely a professional operation that listens to its clients. We've traveled in 85 countries so we have had experiences with every possible type of travel agent. Thanks.
