Fabulous Experience at Affordable Price
Face of Africa was completely tuned into what our group of 21 nature journal sketchers hoped to encounter, and they made it happen! Hamadi put together a 7 day/8 night package covering Tarangire, Serengeti and Lake Manyara National Parks and two days in Ngorongoro Crater. Riding in four reliable, comfortable vehicles we saw all the animals, large and small, feathered and otherwise, plants and panoramas to suit each personal checklist. Our driver/guides were experienced and knowledgable. Additionally we had one dedicated guide whose range and depth of knowledge was in itself a wonder! I felt safe on all roads and conditions, even forgoing my seat belt before the week was out.
We stayed a few extra days in Arusha at Green Mountain Hotel, which I enjoyed for its exposure to local life and the warmth of its staff. Our room had a great view of people on the street, the Haleluya Shop and hair styling being sensibly done on the sidewalk. However, we couldn’t avoid having a bathroom sized pool after showering—improvement needed there. All the hotels were wonderful, peaking at The Retreat At Ngorongoro. We’d been warned to eat only cooked or peeled produce, but ended up eating all the tempting salads at the hotels without any problem. I think the best food may have actually been at Kenzan Luxury Camp.
I’m thinking about a return trip. If that happens, I will most certainly plan it with Face of Africa.

Unforgettable Safari tour with experienced and trustworthy organisation
Face of Africa Adventures gave us initially a warm welcome in Tanzania by picking us up at Kilimanjaro airport in the middle of the night, and arranged us a residence in Arusha so we had a place to sleep for the first night. After exploring Arusha and nearby villages with a guide of FoAA the next day, we were ready for our 5 day safari experience: Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro National park where we saw the big five and all it's associated scenes as we can see them in Europe only on National Geographic TV. It was an unforgettable tour with an excellent crew. Special thanks to Hamadi and his well experienced and organised team!

Amazing Safari experience with incredibly knowledgeable guides-Once in a Lifetime trip made perfect!
This custom Safari was wonderful and far exceeded my expectations! We saw all the animals we could hope for and more and so close, our guides were especially good at knowing where the animals were and answering all our questions. Their humor was also very welcome. The places we stayed were incredible, I envisioned “roughing it” but every place was lovely and had basic amenities. Even the tented camp was very luxurious with hot showers and free laundry! The jeeps for the FOAA (Face of Africa Adventures) Safari were all in good condition (I was in a large group and we rotated every day). Huge windows and roofs that open to be able to stand up and enjoy seeing the animals up close and felt very safe. The guides knew English very well. FOAA even helped with questions and concerns before and after the Safari. After spending a week exploring the northern Tanzania safari circuit I would highly recommend FOAA to friends, family and anyone interested in a great Safari experience for a great price!

Experience of a lifetime.
The Safari with Face of Africa Adventures met all my expectations and more. The expert guide and driver/guides were all very knowledgeable and the extremely capeable drivers were able to get us in perfect locations and position to view, photograph and even sketch so many of the wonderful animals and birds. All our accommodations were also at or above my expectations, several quite luxurious. I especially enjoyed luxury camping in the Serengeti. Also I have dietary limitations, cannot eat either wheat or milk products, and these special needs were accommodated nicely. This trip will be a lasting memory that I will treasure.

Exceptional Guides - Great Adventure Awaits
I was part of a private safari group of 20 people this July, for 7 days. Hamadi and his team were exceptional across the board. Pre-trip, Hamadi managed the individual needs of our large group with grace and patience, and made sure our needs were well attended to. During the trip, his guides and drivers were each amazing - safe drivers, and most importantly, incredibly knowledgable about the animals we were viewing, the culture of the tribes we visited, and the history of lands we traveled through. I got quite an education as well as many thrills as we sighted, leopards, cheetahs, lions, hippos, even Black Rhino far far off in the distance that only a seasoned guide would know where to look. I never felt unsafe, or any concern during the trip. Hamadi and his team had everything covered. I'm already planning a future trip with my family - and will definitely connect again with Face of Africa without hesitation.

Nice trip with nice people
I got a great experience with my friends last may. First of all When I booked safari, This company's response was very fast and professional. So I got a best price. Also When I meet Hamadi, He treat to me as a friend not customer. He was caring very well so I didn't have any complain. He provide many information about safari it was very helpful when i went around safari.

Amazing trip for a group of 21 Artists
We had a great experience with FOAA. Before the trip Hamadi (the owner) was very responsive to our many questions so everyone was prepared. From the moment we touched down the FOAA team was there to support us. We were given an additional vehicle and driver and were joined on the safari by Hamadi (to handle logistics) and his most experienced master guide who was encyclopedic in his knowledge and insight. Each driver/guide has been through a rigorous training program at the university and had rich information to share about ecology, mammals, birds, and plants. They managed our safety, comfort, and experience flawlessly. Our lodges and rooms were very good. The food was well prepared and delicious. I will be organizing other safari adventures in the future and will continue to use FOAA.

Once in a lifetime safari experience
Just returned from a superb safari experience. The team from Face of Africa, including Hamadi, were top notch. They walked us through everything we needed to know before we arrived and were very responsive to our questions. Upon arrival, everything went smoothly, even though we arrived in the middle of the night. The drivers and guides were friendly and knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna. They could even identify birds by sound and animals by tracks. They let us set the pace for our days and we never felt rushed. The vehicles were nice (they had AC) and gave us ample viewing space for watching wildlife. The nightly accommodations were comfortable and safe. In some cases, the accommodations were above and beyond anything we expected. The Face of Africa crew was accommodating of our needs (bathroom breaks in the middle of the Serengeti, finding ATMs, physical comfort). By the end of the safari, I had seen an amazing assortment of plants and wildlife, had met many wonderful people, and had picked up some new Swahili vocabulary. What a great trip and I highly recommend Face of Africa to anyone interested in visiting Tanzania. They greatly exceeded my expectations.
