When you book a safari, you can choose a luxury hotel or a more modest one. You can choose a bigger vehicle or a smaller one. But once you enter the national parks, everyone is on the same game drive. The one thing that truly makes the difference is your guide.

Your passion for wildlife, your deep knowledge of nature, and the way you shared it with us made every single game drive exciting. What impressed me the most was your incredible network and communication with other guides, rangers and people along the road. Thanks to your experience and your contacts, we were able to spot an amazing variety of animals, often in the right place at the right time.
Beyond finding wildlife, we really appreciated all the conversations we had during the long drives. We learned so much about Kenya, its people, its culture, and its wildlife. You turned every drive into an experience, not just a transfer between parks.
Driving hundred of kilometers on challenging roads, always safely, calmly, and professionally, is another part of the job that visitors often underestimate. You made us feel comfortable and safe throughout the entire journey.
My two daughters and I are leaving Kenya with memories that will stay with us forever. If you’re planning a safari, ask for Rob. He is knowledgeable, professional, passionate, patient, and genuinely committed to giving his guests the best possible safari experience.

From the very first contact, booking directly with their office in Kenya through the internet was simple, fast, and transparent (thx xxx and xxx). Communication was always clear, and when we arrived in Kenya, everything happened exactly as it had been explained.
Payment was straightforward, whether by credit card or cash, and all the logistics were handled professionally. We chose the hotel package, and every hotel selected exceeded our expectations. Throughout the planning process, the team accommodated all of our requests and made the experience feel tailored to our family.
Most importantly, they paired us with an outstanding guide, Rob, who made the safari truly unforgettable. A great guide is the heart of any safari, and Jocky Tours clearly understands that.
If I had to mention one small point for improvement, it would be the way a hotel reservation issue was handled one evening during the trip. The situation was eventually partially resolved, I believe it could have been managed differently. A happy customer always come back.
Overall, I recommend Jocky Tours to anyone looking for an authentic Kenyan safari at a fair and affordable price. They offer great value for money, excellent organization, wonderful accommodations, and an experience that we will remember for the rest of our lives.

Papa John has been extremely accommodating and a pleasure to have on the tour.
I went on the 7 day safari tour with papa John. This trip has been nothing short of amazing and impressive. Papa John is very knowledgeable about the parks and wildlife as well as going out of his way for us to get some of the best photos and to find the big 5. Jocky tours has curated a wonderful excursion. Will recommend this trip for anyone wanting to explore Kenya and the wonderful country this is.

Amazing!
I booked a 7 day safari tour with Jocky tours in Kenya and was blessed to have Papa John as my tour guide. He is very personable and knowledgeable and took his time to allow us to appreciate and take in our surroundings. There was no guarantee on which animals we would spot but Papa John was able to find us the Big 5 and more . He even went out of his way to drop off a fellow tour member to the Tanzanian border to continue his trip. The accommodations were great and there were hot showers in each location.

Geeman was amazing!
This safari experience was brilliant, our guide Geeman was fantastic he was very entertaining and knowledgable. It was great value for money, we saw every animal and were very well looked after.

Julius is absolutely the greatest tour guide we could have asked for. He’s done this for such a long time and you can tell because he was taking us to spots with very few safari vehicles to see some stunning animals. As opposed to getting pulled into a sighting that already had 15+ vehicles. Very obviously a veteran! He also knows how to translate the animals in various languages which was awesome! The safari itself, you can’t even dream of something so beautiful. Pictures don’t do it any justice. You will want to experience this with Julius @Jocky Tours. I will go ahead and suggest to request Julius specifically and remain flexible with your dates to ensure you have the best possible experience. GREATEST VALUE ON THE MARKET
Super friendly and knowledgeable
Julius was an incredible tour guide and very well connected in the parks. Just when we thought he was exceptional, somehow he became whatever the word above exceptional is! We were out of cash and he was able to help us get cash. Very new to this traveling experience and his patience on helping us gave us relief! Great experience with a knowledgeable, friendly and interesting guide
I did the 6-day budget safari with Jocky, visiting Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Ambroseli. Our driver and guide, Brian Ondigo, was clearly experienced with the parks as well as the driving conditions inside the parks. He was friendly and funny, and took the time to help us see a wide variety of wildlife during the safari. We were even able to see a lion hunting. I also appreciate that he shared bits of information about the parks and the wildlife throughout our time with him. I would definitely enjoy another safari with Brian in the future.
Accomodations were as expected, comparable to a 2 star hotel. It's worth noting that the driving time on the 6-day safari is extensive. Depending on your preferences you may want to skip Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha to save 8+ hours of driving.

The tour operator was reliable, friendly, and highly professional.
We had a wonderful 7-day safari with Jocky Tours and Safaris. From the beginning, the communication was clear and prompt, and all of our questions were answered patiently. The itinerary was well organized, and everything ran smoothly throughout the trip.
Our driver-guide David mukami was experienced, friendly, and worked hard to help us spot wildlife. We were fortunate to see a wide variety of animals, including the Big Five, and the guide shared interesting information about the parks and the animals along the way.
