Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru - 4 days
We had an absolutely amazing experience with Jocky Tours and Safaris! The whole trip was incredibly well organized, and we were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five, along with so much other wildlife. The game drives were easily some of the highlights of our entire Kenya trip.
A special mention has to go to our guide and driver, Richie. He was genuinely the best part of the whole experience. He was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and always seemed to know exactly where to go to give us the best chance of seeing the animals. He made every game drive fun and memorable, and we really appreciated how much effort he put into making sure we had an amazing safari.
Seeing the Big Five was incredible, but having such a great guide made the experience even better. Huge thanks to Richie and the Jocky Tours team for an unforgettable few days. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone planning a safari in Kenya! π¦ππ¦ππ

Amazing experience
I had a great experience with Geeman. He is very kind, patient, and does his job exceptionally well. Geeman went above and beyond to make sure we got to see all of the Big Five. He answered all of our questions, from the names of trees and questions about the Maasai people to what different animals eat.
He has so much knowledge to share, and I would absolutely recommend going on a tour with him and Jocky Tours. We had an amazing experience!

Papa Johns - fun tour guide
For our tour guide Papa Johns
We had a really great experience with Papa Johns. He was kind, funny, knowledgeable, and made the game drives genuinely enjoyable. He shared lots of interesting facts along the way and was always attentive to what the group needed, whether that meant stopping for a washroom break, slowing down for photos, or spending more time looking for a particular animal.
What I appreciated most was how much effort he put into helping us see the animals we were hoping for. He really takes his job seriously and you can tell he wants his guests to have a good experience. We werenβt able to spot a leopard on our first day, and he seemed genuinely sad for us, but the next day we finally found one and he did his best to position the vehicle so everyone could get a good view.
Overall, he was very friendly, patient, hardworking, and fun to be around. I had a great time and would definitely recommend him!

Reliable, well organised and good value for money
We completed a 7βday safari through Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha & Amboseli with Jocky Tours. Overall, the organisation, reliability and value for money was good, and the itinerary delivered: we were lucky enough to see the big 5 and much more, with the varied landscapes.
If you're thinking of 7 day safari be prepared for long journeys by road between parks, simetimes 5 or 6 hours.
Communication:
Communication before the trip was clear: David and Mineh at Jocky head office were happy to respond to the many questions I had prior to the trip. Pickβups, schedules and logistics were handled professionally, and any questions we asked were answered quickly.
Service & Guide:
David Mukami was our driver and guide. He was organised, responsible, puctual and made us feel safe at all times. As a driver, he was excellentβskilled, calm and always positioning the vehicle for great sightings.
However, he offered little or no information unless prompted. We were missing basic details at the beginning of each day, such as journey times, lunch plans, timings of stops and even where we were going. General wildlife context was rarely volunteered and was minimal. David is a genuinely nice person, but sadly our overall safari experience was negatively impacted by lack of customer engagement skills.
I've worked in the tourism sector for many years and know just how very important the guides role is, even more so on such a trip.
While I cannot fault the driving and organisation we felt the βguideβ service promised by Jocky severly fell short.
Value for Money:
The safari offered very good value overall. Accommodation matched expectations, meals were decent, and the parks delivered unforgettable wildlife moments.
Reliability:
The company was reliable with timings and logistics. Everything ran smoothly and safely.
Clarity on Extra Costs:
We were expected to tip security at the Mara River during the hippo viewing, and at Hellβs Gate we had to pay park entry, bike hire and a guide. All worthwhile, but Jocky should make these additional costs clearer in advance.

Unbeatable Wildlife Safari experience
Simply amazingβhighly recommend Jocky Tours.
This was my first safari, and thanks to Stanley from Jocky Tours, it is a lifetime remembrance for me.
βUnbeatable Knowledge: He explained the science, history, and facts behind every animal and bird we spotted across the reserves.
βEngaging & Fun: There was never a single dull moment. Stanley kept us entertained and engaged throughout the entire journey.
βTrue Professional: He is exceptional and incredible at his job. I truly believe nobody can beat him in this profession.
Thanks to Maureen from jocky tours who was helpful and kind with me from the booking of the trip and till the end of the trip
I highly recommend Stanley and Jocky Tours to anyone planning a wildlife adventure!

Very helpful and easygoing.
I am writing on behalf of my husband and myself. We have just returned to Nairobi after a 10-day safari with our son, covering the Masai Mara, Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, Salt Lick conservancy, and both Tsavos.
After coming up with the idea and discussing it with my son, I initially checked with Italian travel agencies, but their proposals always combined a beach holiday with the safari. While searching online, I came across JOCKY TOURS AND SAFARIS and contacted them. David got in touch with meβand what can I say? Organizing the trip was easy. My son worked out the itinerary with David, who understood exactly what we wanted and did a fantastic job bringing it to life. He was helpful and patient. We placed our full trust in them. We felt well looked after throughout the planning process. They trusted us, too, asking for only a partial deposit upfront and booking everything before our arrival. Francis, the guide and driver assigned to us, was outstanding. He was a great driver and an expert on the local area and wildlife, always able to anticipate our needs. We saw countless animals, including the "Big Five"βeven a black rhino. Although we missed the migration, everything JOCKY organized for us was amazing. They ensured our first safari experience was wonderfulβso much so that we can confidently recommend JOCKY to anyone in Italy and not wishing to have a similar experience. Thank you, JOCKY, and a big hug to David and the amazing Francis.

Jocky Tours is clear, direct and open to most of the requests. Very helpful in all the situations.
Iβll try my best to give you a truly heartfelt and honest review, personally written the day after the end of our safari.
Iβm Michele. My parents and I (a family of three from Italy) havenβt organized a long trip since 2023/2024, so we were kind of rusty.
We wanted to try a new experience, something that I had always wanted to do: a safari in some of the best national parks and conservancies in the world, right here in Kenya, where I still am as Iβm writing this.
We looked around for a while, but all the Italian companies seemed to be offering only 3β4 day safaris followed by 4β5 days at the beach. No thanks. So we decided to look directly for a Kenyan company.
We found a few, but then a Facebook post caught my attention: a post about David with a beautiful comment about him. David introduced us to Jocky Tours and ended up becoming our trip planner.
He was really helpful and clear throughout our messages and calls. He managed to customize our safari plan according to our requests and all the small modifications we wanted to make.
I did quite a bit of research before coming and specifically asked for a mid-range private safari: basically, mid-range accommodations that felt like much more than mid-range. Clean pools, beautiful beds almost everywhere, and exquisite food (you need to be open-minded, as itβs a very different cuisine from what weβre used to).
I also specifically asked for three days in the Masai Mara to see the Great Migration, which unfortunately we werenβt lucky enough to witness (depends only on timing, not on the guide).
BUT our guide and driver, Francis, is AMAZING.
We got unlucky with the migration, but we got lucky with everything else. We saw the Big Five in just two and a half days of game drives β yes, all five, including a leopard and a black rhino always in Masai Mara.
Thanks to Francisβs experience and knowledge, especially his ability to locate animals (through calls, radio contact, or simply his eyesight) and his driving skills, we were able to witness some beautiful scenes: a lionesses with a wildebeestβs head in her mouth followed by two hyenas, 3 lionesses and their cubs, a group of 50+ elephants and much more. I was also able to get some beautiful shots with my camera.
Unfortunately, accidents happen, as always. I wonβt go into specifics, but everything went well. Iβd just like to advise that the first-aid box should always be fully stocked in all the vehicles.
David is the kind of guy my age who has the organizational skills you look for when you want to go on a safari, while Francis is the guide and driver you want when you want to get things done quickly and beautifully.
We are really satisfied with both of them and with Jocky Tours. I highly recommend them.
Thanks for the memories, Mike.

A well-organised tour operator, with excellent communication
We had a great experience with the company. Communication was excellent from the beginning: everything was very clear, all our questions were answered quickly, and the organisation was very good.
We loved the route: it was very complete and allowed us to see so many different places and animals.
And a special mention to our guide, Kikitu. We were very happy with him. He goes above and beyond to find animals and make sure you have the best possible experience. Whenever nature allows it, if you go with Kikitu, the Big Five are almost guaranteed! π¦ππ¦ππ
A great experience and 100% recommended!
