A professional, well-organised safari operator that goes above and beyond every step of the way
Our group did the 7 day safari with Jocky Tours, and it was truly a life changing experience.
Everything was organised so well from start to finish. Minneh was incredibly helpful during the booking process and patiently answered all my questions. We honestly couldn’t believe we got to experience such an incredible safari at such a reasonable price.
Our guide, John Walter, also known as “John of the Jungle,” was absolutely fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable about the different species of animals and birds across all the parks and was always happy to answer our endless questions. You could genuinely see how much he loves the animals and what he does. He was also hilarious and always knew how to lighten the mood and keep the group entertained. If you get Walter as your guide, you can be guaranteed that you’re in good hands!
I even had a little checklist scrapbook where I was ticking off all the animals and birds we spotted, and Walter helped me identify every species along the way. He was incredibly patient and attentive to all our needs, making sure we got the best photos from every possible angle! He was always punctual and made sure the jeep was clean and ready for us every day. Walter is truly an asset to Jocky Tours.
Another highlight of the experience was the freshly prepared meals at each stop. We really enjoyed having clean, authentic Kenyan food throughout the safari. The staff at every accommodation were also incredibly helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. And the views at Amboseli Mountain View Camp were simply surreal absolutely stunning!
Jocky Tours exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you so much for creating such an incredible experience and a core memory that we’ll treasure for a lifetime!

Fun and very responsible.
David was incredibly responsible and punctual. Having such a fantastic guide made this safari exceptionally fun!he took us as close as possible to the animals, allowing us to successfully spot the "Big Five"! Whenever we needed assistance, he was always there to help us patiently.

The best part of our trip was our driver David
Due to being scammed by another safari operator, I had to choose Jocky Tours just one day before our departure. Looking back, I can honestly say that it was one of the best decisions we made.
From the beginning, Jocky Tours was responsible and professional, and everything went smoothly.
But the biggest highlight was definitely our driver, David. He is an absolutely wonderful person — patient, knowledgeable, friendly, and very responsible. He explained everything to us clearly and was always happy to answer all our questions. Most importantly, we always felt safe with him, both on the road and during the safari.
David really made the experience much more enjoyable. We came to Kenya mainly for the safari, but meeting such a great person was an unexpected and very special part of our trip.
Thank you Jocky Tours, and especially thank you David, for giving us such a memorable experience. We would definitely recommend Jocky Tours to other travelers!

Had a wonderful Safari time
Our time with Jocky Tours and Safaris was absolutely unforgettable, and I cannot recommend this company highly enough. From the initial logistics to the daily game drives, everything was executed perfectly. The absolute standout part of our adventure, however, was our guide, Isac. He is a true expert in these tours, and his deep knowledge of the wildlife and the terrain is unmatched. Beyond his clear professionalism, Isac is an incredibly nice person who went above and beyond every single day to make sure we had the absolute best experience possible. If you book with Jocky Tours, you are in great hands—especially if you are lucky enough to have Isac leading your safari.

I joined the 7 days 6 nights Masai Mara (3 nights) - Nakuru (1 night) - Amboseli (2 nights) tour during 16.09-22.09 with Jocky Tours. The first 2 days at Masai Mara with Stanley was perfect.
Stanley exceeded my expectation and he is so good at spoting the animals and positioning the viecle to the best spot (among many other Safari viecles). no matter where we were, once there was something, the next moment we were at the best spot. I can highly recommened him. I did a small upgrade to mid budget in Masai Mara and i stayed at Wildnest Mara Camp. It was clean and cozy. I was with Josepf the 3rd day in Masai Mara, 4th day to Nakuru, half day of the 5th Nakuru Safari.
Josepf is also good at spoting the animals and i was sitting next to Josepf, he told me some interesting customs about Kenya. Josepf is respectful and kept distance to the animals. The hotel in Nakuru was also clean and comfortable. (Buraha)
The last two days with Alex in Amboseli was not so nice. the mountain is beautiful and the hill in the national park where we took lunch was so beautiful. Alex couldn't done his primary job - spoting animals. We the travellers should often tell him where are the animals. He basically drove in the Amboseli national park and i got bored. On the way back to Nairobi, he was not patient to send us back to the hotels. We were 5 people in 3 different hotels(two close to the airport and 1 is in Nairobi city center along the road), the dutch girl sitting next to him and i had planned the resonable route for him even it should be his job. he said '' you should plan well to save my time and also your time''. He finally dropped me at my hotel (mein is first along the road), and two Dutch girls need to take Uber to their hotel (Alex agreed to pay). It is clearly stated in the itinerary that in the end the guide need to drop us at the airport or the hotel. But he was so impatient and behaved like we were causing troubles and he was doing us a big favour, which is not ok. I stayed at the amboseli mountain view camp, there was 2 lizards in the bathroom, 1 spider in bathroom, and i huge spider on the bed. i was so scared and couldn't sleep well.

Exceptional safari, great guide
My husband and I did 2 nights in Samburu, 1 night in Nakuru, and 3 nights in Masai Mara, and it was a memorable experience.
Our guide was John, and he played an important role in making the trip exceptional. John is knowledgeable, knows the parks and wildlife well, is a great spotter, and an excellent driver.
At Samburu, we saw lions, leopards, cheetahs, and most of Samburu’s Special Five. Only because of his judgment did we have a great sighting of a cheetah at Samburu. At Nakuru, we saw a pride of lions feeding, black and white rhinos, and many birds. At Masai Mara, we saw countless lions (more than 20 every day), cheetahs, leopards feeding, lions feeding, and lions with small cubs. And to top it all, we even saw a river crossing at Sand River, again because of John’s judgment. He never rushed us at any sighting and never got tired of showing us animals, even when it was a long day of driving for him.
He was very pleasant and informative, and he was friends with most of the other guides, which helped with sightings. Above all, he was very kind to everyone around him, both animals and humans.
We stayed at Sopa lodges at Samburu and Nakuru, both were excellent, at Masai Mara we stayed at Jambo mara, rooms were good but food was not.
Moses from Jockey helped us in planning, email replies were quick. Only thing to note is that Jocky charges extra for card payments, clarify this. They gave us best deal.

A wonderful safari expérience with Simon
We spent five wonderful days with Simon during our trip to Kenya, and it was an absolute pleasure! His cheerful personality, great sense of humour and infectious laugh made every day even more enjoyable.
Simon was always attentive to our wishes and expectations and did everything he could to make our experience special. He has an excellent knowledge of the parks we visited and is incredibly knowledgeable about wildlife and animal behaviour. We learned so much from him throughout our safari.
Simon is professional, reliable and passionate about what he does, while always keeping things relaxed and fun. With him, everything is taken seriously — but never too seriously! ;-)
We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Simon to anyone looking for a memorable safari experience in Kenya!

Stunning trip in Africa
Trip with guide David was amazing overall.
Thanks to David's 18 year experiences, we watched all the Big 5 in 2hours after arrived in Masai mara.
His guide was super detail and interesting.
Also he made our tour group very close, so we can have best time during car, and hotel.
It was honor to join this tour, I would recommend it to everyone.

A very excellent and kind person
The price was very reasonable, and the accommodation was better than I expected. I applied for a 6-day tour, and it was a very good and happy experience. In particular, the driver David was an incredibly skilled safari guide, with excellent driving skills, eloquence, and a very good driver who found good spots and provided convenience. Thanks to him, I was able to enjoy the safari.
