Great tour for a solo traveler
I was nervous booking a safari as a solo female traveler, but the staff at Jocky Tours and Safaris was responsive and professional throughout the entire experience. They were quick to answer all of my questions before booking, and they were very helpful throughout the whole experience. Albert was an incredible guide who worked hard every game drive to get us as close as possible to as many animals as we could find! We ended up seeing 4 of the big 5 (the elusive leopard strikes again) and overall had an incredible experience.

Responsable, profesional and kind
I had an incredible experience with Jocky Tours and Safaris! I think The communication before the safari Can improve. The service was top-notch—our guide Roger was not only knowledgeable and professional but also genuinely passionate about the wildlife and local culture.
The tour itself exceeded my expectations. The vehicle was comfortable, and we felt safe and well taken care of throughout the journey. The value for money was good,as we were able to enjoy breathtaking scenery, spot the Big Five, and the ugly five, experience moments we’ll never forget.
I would highly recommend Jocky Tours to anyone looking for a reliable, well-organized safari adventure. Thank you.

Best Safari
We spent 5 days with Francis as our guide, and he made our trip absolutely fantastic. We visited Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and Hell’s Gate, and everything went smoothly thanks to him.
Francis was always on time, super friendly, and happy to answer all our questions. He really knows his stuff and was always in a great mood, which made the experience even better.
In Masai Mara, he worked really well with other guides to make sure we saw as many animals as possible. His efforts paid off—we had some incredible sightings! Plus, he always stopped at shops with clean toilets, which was a big bonus. I also recommend to stay at Sopa lodge during your visit if you dont like spend the night with lizards and other bugs 😉
At Lake Nakuru, we got to see all kinds of birds and other animals. It was such a cool experience!
At Lake Naivasha, he set up a boat ride for us, and we got to visit a park where we could get closer to the animals. The park guide there also gave us a lot of interesting info, which made it even better.
At Hell’s Gate, we decided to walk. We saw some animals, but they were a bit far away. However going early in the morning or riding bikes might give you a better chance to see more wildlife.
Overall, Francis was amazing—friendly, knowledgeable, and always making sure we had a great time. If you’re planning a safari, we can’t recommend him!

An Unforgettable Safari Experience!
We recently went on this amazing tour, and it exceeded our expectations! Our guide, Francis, was absolutely fantastic. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to assist us. He shared so much valuable information and ensured we were well-guided throughout the trip.
The tour started with a visit to the Maasai Mara, where we saw an incredible variety of animals—it was truly breathtaking! Next, we visited Lake Nakuru, which was teeming with beautiful birds and we even got to see rhinos up close. The optional trip to Lake Naivasha was also worth it; we enjoyed bird watching and had the opportunity to get close to animals at the end of the excursion. On our final day, we explored Hell's Gate, which was the perfect way to wrap up the trip.
Overall, we were thrilled with this experience. The only minor downside was the accommodation in the Maasai Mara, which we had to change, and unfortunately, we weren’t refunded for this part. However, this didn’t overshadow the incredible adventure we had.
I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone who loves animals or even has a slight interest in wildlife. It’s an experience of a lifetime!

Everything was really good
A great safari tour that we definitely recommend. Excellent service, we saw everything that was promised, including the BIG 5 and not only them but also other exotic animals. Special thanks to our guide - Joshua, who was unbeatable. We consider him the Safari King because he managed to do the impossible, showing us all the animals, driving to seemingly inaccessible places, and taking us to truly remarkable sights. Joshua is very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. We definitely recommend him. Thank you for the amazing adventures and emotions.

Great experience and tour guide
Chose this company based on reviews and was not disappointed. Had a couple of quotes from other companies which were slightly cheaper, however chose Jocky tours and do not regret it.
Booking was easy and communication was good with the company responding to any questions within 24 hours. We chose the 3 day/2night mid range private option.
We were picked up at 7am on our first day and taken to the office where payment was made. We paid with cash which was a very quick process and we then set off for the reserve with our driver Caleb. We arrived at 1600 and went on an evening game drive until the reserve closed at 1830. The next day we set off for the reserve at 0630 and spent from 0700-1700 in the reserve. We saw multiple lions, elephants , antelopes, hippo, crocodiles, cheetah, griaffe, warthog, zebra, birds and buffalo. The last day we set off at 0730 and spent an hour driving out of the reserve also encountered many of the above before visiting the Maasai Village and returning to Nairobi for 1500 hours. There is plenty of water provided during the trip.
We stayed at the Enkorok Mara Camp which is a mid range tented camp and were very pleased. The tent had everything we needed. The food was buffet style and was delicious. They cater for dietary requirements and vegan/vegetarian. They provided lunch on the second day which was a very generous size.
Caleb our driver was amazing, he got us as close as he could to the different animals and had a wealth of facts about the reserve and all the animals we saw. He was not stumped by any question we had. He is one of the friendliest people we've met and nothing is too much of an ask

Unforgettable experience!
I had one of the best experiences in my life - as nature and animal lover. The tour was organized very well - as a budget tour all the accommodations, food, transport was very well planned.
Our guide Francis did fantastic job - his driving skills, knowledge and experience was what made the whole safari unique and memorable. He was always flexible towards our preferences, made sure we are at the right time at the right spot and that everything is alright for us.
We saw the big 5 and we were all more than happy with the whole trip!
If you decide to book a tour with Jocky, make sure to ask about trip with Francis, (they have quite few guides). Thank you!
Will surely be back!

Excellent service and safari experience! :)
Our tour guide, Francis, made this week of safari experience unforgettable in a positive way. We saw the Big Five and many more animals across Masai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha and Amboseli National Parks. Francis always found the best spots to see the animals and provided professional off-road driving.
He took into account our needs for stops and other requests. It was great to answer all the questions we had.
