Amazing experience with Jeff.
Everything was perfect, the whole team is really nice and professional. Everything was clear from the beginning to the end. Jeff, our guide, has a great knowledge of the animals and knows Masai Mara by heart. He is also an excellent driver. We even got to see a Leopard (among elephants, giraffes, lions, cheetah....) and all close up. Just to quickly sum up: fantastic, attentive and friendly. Every second was fabulous.

Comptency, reactivity and kidness
We really enjoyed our 7 days safari, our guide, Salomon was great ! He spotted all the animals and explained a lot about them, taking time to observe and explain their behaviour. He also decscribed Kenyan culture and this was really interesting. He made from our safari the greatest experience. Thanks to him !
The hotels were as expected apart from one which was not very nice, noisy and the "room" was tiny.

3 days Masai mara
Everything as it should be,on time, all animals viewed, the best driver Albert took as close as possible to liones for example, about 2 meters.
I will recommend and do it again.

Well organised and efficient, value for money.
What an experience !
Fabulous guide Khalifa, who, with his knowledge, experience, excellent driving skills and sense of humour all contributed to a most amazing and memorable trip. He ensured we saw as much as possible and never gave up until we did !
Saw the Big 5 and much more.
Trip to Masai Village was an eye opener and not to be missed.
Jambi Masai Lodge, lovely accommodation with very attentive and helpful staff. Highly recommend and ask for Khalifa !

Unforgettable experience and highly recommended!
My travel agent guide is excellent, and his name is Kikitu from the Jockytours. I'll recommend him to everyone. He has a good personality, and he is very humorous and experienced. He took us to see as many as animals. The scenery along the way was beautiful and stunning. It was an unforgettable trip! I really enjoy it!

Excellent experience
We had a great trip. The communication was good before hand and our driver, Francis, was brilliant. We were able to see all the animals on offer and met a lovely group of people on the group safari we did. The pricing was very reasonable too.
Highly recommended. Will be telling everyone who is coming to Kenya about Jocky Tours.

Amazing experience
Safari was very well arranged - communication before worked perfectly, the driver picked us up from the airport at the agreed time. We took 3 days private safari tour and our guide Isaac was excellent - we saw all possible animals during this time! Accommodation was also a very nice experience. Thank you again, Isaac! Highly recommended!

Very good safari with Francis
We had a great 6 days safari Which included masai mara, lake nakuru and amboseli. Our guide Francis was very good and knowledgeable and we saw all the animals including a leopard! It was good value for money (760 usd). If you have limited time you could do the 4 days safari (without amboseli) as masai mara was the best and we saw all the animals there (amboseli was nice but maybe not worth all the additional driving, in hindsight- we also couldn't see the Kilimanjaro). We also did the 'walking safari' which was nice but it was just a walk in the hills so not worth the extra 30 $. We also did a boat tour on lake naivasha which was ok but again not really worth the $30. But we had a great experience on the safari with Francis.

Excellent and well organised safari!
My husband and I went on a 5 day 4 night safari with Jocky tours. We chose the budget option (they offer mid range I believe also) - and we were thrilled with our experience. It was very well organised and the guides are brilliant and expert at what they do - we had Francis guiding us for most of our trip (who knows the Masai like the back of his hand, we were lucky to have him spotting wildlife), and Dan for the latter part. Highly recommend this tour!

It is a budget safari, but worth it!
I booked the 6-day shared group safari (Masai Mara, Nakuru NP, Amboseli NP) in a 4x4 Jeep based on an offer I found on safaribookings.com. I booked it through communication with the manager of Jocky Tours by E-Mail. In the beginning I was worried, if this way was "official" enough, but at the end everything was how I booked it.
The tour itself was a great adventure! Thanks to our experienced guide and driver Sir Charles (who visibly enjoyed searching for the animals himself), we saw many animals, even a leopard, a cheetah and a rhino. I was very happy, that we did not waste a lot of time (as it can sometimes happen on such tours) and really spent a lot of time on game drives!
As we were traveling in the rainy season, it was of great advantage to be sitting in a 4x4 Jeep. Our talented driver managed to get out of even the deepest mud! I would prefer the Jeep over the busses, which are also offered as cheaper option. As space in the Jeep is limited, we left our additional suitcases at our hotel in Nairobi (Ibis Styles).
The safari was a budget safari, so we knew that it might not be luxurious. The vehicle was not new, but overall in a good condition. However my biggest point of criticism is, that many seats did not have functioning seat belts. As traffic in Kenya is quite dangerous, I think that they should replace them to offer tourists a safe trip!
2 out of 3 accomodations exceeded my expectations for a budget safari! However the tent in the first camp at Masai Mara was in a quite poor condition, with big holes in the tent and many holes in the mosquito net. Therefore I would recommend to bring your own mosquito net and repellents and to take malaria prophylaxis.
Meals were all included and most of the rather local dishes were really delicious!
As for the optional activities during the trip, I can recommend the visit of the Masai village next to Masai Mara (20 dollars). You get an insight in their daily life and they tell a little bit about their culture. Of course they also try to sell souvenirs. In the meantime, I can't recommend the boat tour on Lake Naivasha, as it was quite expensive (20 dollars) and not that interesting.
Overall, it was a great trip that I really enjoyed and which I can recommend! The tour has a good price/performance ratio!
