Fantastic Safari and Guides
4/5

Really good value for money. We got to see absolutely everything we wanted to see over the 6 days on Safari. We got split across 2 tour guides over those days, particular mention to one of the guides Francis who was amazingly friendly, engaging and insightful. He really put the cherry on top of a really great trip especially when there's a lot of travel time between locations. Accommodation was good, the only thing that could have been better was a noise issue in our hotel in Nakuru but the tour company apologized and the other places we stayed were nice. The Masai Mara accommodation was SUPER basic so just be prepared for that. The food was generally ok, local cuisine which usually was rice, veg and a protein. As a veggie it was usually lentils and beans. Not a huge amount of variety over the week but you do get fed A LOT! I would say if you're veggie, try and be specific about what you want in your packed lunch beforehand because we got pretty stingey stuff compared to the meat eaters...

The Manjara Camp in Amboseli was super accommodating with the food though. What a lovely place to stay as well!! It was the best place we stayed by far! Henry was an amazing host and if we could have stayed longer there, we would have!! Special shout-out to Chef, she blew us away with how much she catered for us.

All in all, we had a fantastic time. If your focus is on seeing animals and being treated amazingly by very experienced guides, this is deffo for you! Bear in mind you spend maybe 10-15% of your time at camp so if you just want the basics like we did, it's perfect without all the bells and whistles!

5/5

Great experience with Jocky Tours and Safaris. Good value for money. Our guide Raheem always found best place to be closest to animals. We have almost touch big group of lions and elephants in Masai Mara. If you come to Kenia we choose Jocky. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience!
5/5

After looking and reading different reviews
- [ ] I choose Jockey tours. The service was very good, the driver pick up us on the hotel actually 10 min before the time agreed (and was amazing all the way) a bit scary as you walk to a dark office to begin your adventure … but this is Nairobi. We went with a shared group option, (8 people in total) and we were traveling with two children. We arrived to the Masai Mara after a long drive, but nothing can be done about this … a lot of kms. The Safari we went was great, even to raining wet condition! Our guide, Khalifa was really friendly, knowledgeable and patience. The park roads are bumpy, specially if rain that also are slippery and muddy, but the jeep that the tour provided is excellent (please be aware best to avoid the smaller vans) as we saw many small vans stuck in the mud). We had a great time and manage to see all that we ever dream of, rhino, hippos, lion, elephants, giraffes, zebras, cheetah and many more. The great thing about Khalifa was that he knew where to go and when, he has a great network who shares info with him, which made our experience a trip of a life time, it is never guaranteed to see everything. my children (age 12 and 16) also enjoyed. We went for a 3 days 2 nights option and that was good for us, e outside OK specially as we will split the week and also go to Diani Beach. Khalifa accommodate all our needs, and we were so grateful as he keep us safe.

Excellent tour operator
5/5

Jocky Tours and Safari organized safari for us in Masai Mara, Nakuru and Amboseli National Parks. We spent a lot of time in these parks and saw many animals including elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, rhinos, hippos, leopards and so on. The accommodation was comfortable and fully consistent with what was stated. I recommend this tour operator and their wonderful guide Joseph.

I have done the safari with my partner and we had Francis as the driver. No complaints. He was very effective, always punctual, helping us with everything and explaining everything we asked. I would repeat with him without hesitation

Perfect!
5/5

An incredible experience❤️ I thought that due to the low price (compared to other options), it would not be so good, but this safari has not lacked anything!!! It has been perfect. From the chosen hotels/campsites to the guide, the magnificent Francis. Everything he says comes true, you can trust the animals he promises you 100%!!!
The only thing I would not repeat is the visit to the Maasai village (it is optional, we were the ones who chose to go). In addition to being a bit expensive (20 dollars per person to enter), they pressure you to compress things and you end up spending a lot of money (a single necklace is 20/30 euros). Then the souvenir shops where they stop during the journey are also quite expensive for tourists and they will take advantage of the price (11 euros for two magnets!!!). Prices that one does not even pay in Europe. Therefore, be careful with scams! For the rest, enjoy Jocky Tours and if you're lucky, enjoy Francis!! I hope I can repeat this experience again, thank you very much for everything!

He knows where and how to find the animals
3/5

In total it was really good. We see a lot, also the Big Five. But I was wondered and surprised what was not included, like the Boatstour or the Walk with the animals. I took again a look of the Safari-Description but I didn't find these advices.

And also to see the animals very close was really nice, sure. But I don't think that it is good for the animals. And to breake rules by leaving roads was terrible. There is a reason why this is not allowed.

At least thank you for the journey with you, Moses.
