Jimmy was the most amazing tour guide!!!
To express the amount of enjoyment we experienced on this safari, I would have to write a novel. However, in short this safari trip was amazing!! My friend and a selected the budget tour of $500 which included a 4 day trip to Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru. Regardless of which tier you select, meaning budget or more luxury, you will be well taken care for. I would consider myself a more high maintenance person but the even the tent (camp) stay was well above my expectations. We had warm water for showering in the camps and also a flushable toilet system. Our last night we stayed at a hotel which was a great experience after being in the camp for two days prior.
If you have the option to select your guide I would recommend Jimmy, we had the most amazing time being part of his trip. There are not enough words to describe how jimmy grows on you over time. He is the most chill person and also just super kind. He is also a great driver, which is also very important. A lot of the roads are bumpy or one lane (which will require you to bypass cars ahead of you while the other lane is moving in the opposite direction), we always felt safe with him behind the wheel. He is just a 10/10 tour guide and an absolute joy to be around. It’s quite important which tour guide you select considering you will spend the next 4 days with them. Jimmy is also a morning person, which comes in handy considering the wake up times can be 6AM on early safari days!
Lastly, I love taking good TikTok and Instagram content and Jimmy made sure to try to get the best angles and shots for us to get from the animals. We saw so many: Zebra, Gazelle, Wilde Beast, Impala, Baboon, Thompson gazelle, Topi Antelope, Crown cream bird, Giraffes, Grants, Elephant, Hardbeast, Lions, Hyena’s, Cheetahs, Ostrich, Common eland, The Kenyan bird, Pumba & Timon (Lion King), Hippos, Crocodile, Rhino, Jackals, Flamingos + many more that I forgot the names for.
Truly the best trip!! One for the books.

Amazing
This tour was unbelievable. I did this tour together with my friend. It was so well arranged with Jocky tours (special thanks to Jimmy the best guide ever), for a very good price too. We’ve paid like $500, for a four day tour, in two different areas Maasai Mara & Lake Nakuru. We had 2 luggage each. We just packed a smaller bag to take with us on Safari, we could leave our luggage at the office. They keeped it safe for us. Good service.
The first day we arrived at the Camp. This was our stay for the first 2 nights. It was a pretty good stay, above expectations. It was a luxe lodge tent with a own bathroom, warm water and flushable toilet even. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was served, delicious meals. There was security at the camp, what made me feel safe, since we were sleeping in a tent. Since traveling is included the first day we did a gamedrive for around 3/4 hours with sunset. We already saw so many different animals in those couple of hours. Many elephants, zebra’s, different breeds of gazelles and antelopes, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeest et cetera.
Day two we had a full gamedrive with sunrise. This drive was from 06.15 till 17.00, a full day. We saw lions eating a buffalo, hyenas, hippo’s, crocodiles, cheetahs, warthogs, meerkats and many more. This day we had a outside lunch, in the middle of Maasai Mara surrounded by animals. This experience was simply amazing. We also had a stop at the border of Tanzania which was extraordinary.
Day three we had a visit at the Maasai village, which was very educational and interesting. This visit is optional but I do recommend. After that we drove to Lake Nakuru and had a break for lunch. That ride was about 5/6 hours. Our last stay was a hotel. Here they had multiple facilities such as a swimming pool, massage and a gym.
Day four, the last day, we started early in Lake Nakuru. Around 07.00 am. This is a totally different area compared to Maasai Mara. I really liked it. We saw flamingo’s, pelicans, white rhinos and a family of lions up close. This experience was very rare and a dream coming true. Furthermore we had a stop at a waterfall in the park, just beautiful.
I highly recommend this tour. Special thanks to Jimmy our guide. Jimmy is a very good driver, the roads aren’t easy but he made us feel safe and comfortable the entire trip. He made sure we had a clear view of the animals and that everyone could make some good content. He has all the patience in the world. He knows much about the animals and areas. Jimmy likes a conversation and is fun too! I think if we didn’t had Jimmy as our guide, we wouldn’t had the same experience. Jimmy’s presence made the trip. Jimmy for president!

Everything was amazing!
We have just finished a 5 day private tour visiting Masai Mara, Nakuru and Naivasha. Everything about the trip was fantastic but especially our guide - Jeff. As a guide, he was professional, personable, informative and good fun! He is an incredibly skilled driver and we always felt we were in safe hands! He went out of his way to ensure we got the best view of the animals we spotted and we got amazing photos of elephants, many lions, giraffes, buffalo, gazelle, warthogs, rhinos and much much more! We would not hesitate in recommending Jeff to anyone - he truly made memories for us that we will treasure!

It was Enjoyable, Memorable and Insightful.
It was a very good safari indeed. The journey, the game drive which was the highlight for me of course and the accommodation were top notch. I can say that the reality did exceed the expectation and I would definitely do it again.

Fabulous experience - a great Masai Mara safari and lodge, and brilliant value for money
Jimmy was a fantastic tour guide - fun, informative and a smooth driver! The highlight of the safari was seeing a cheetah and lionesses and their cubs.
We were blown away by our accommodation at the Jambo Safari Lodge. All inclusive and very high standard hospitality and food at the lodge. The only improvement would be that the packed lunches were a little uninspiring.
Well organised and highly recommeded!

Best customer experience
Here's a revised version of your review to enhance the wording and maintain the praise for Jockey Tours:
I was initially hesitant to book my first-ever safari with Jockey Tours and Safaris, especially because their prices seemed significantly lower than the typical costs I had heard about from friends. Despite their glowing reviews, I tempered my expectations, given the modest price of $620 for a five-day safari. Having traveled to over 20 countries across four continents, I can confidently say this was the best value for money I've ever experienced. From the moment they picked us up at the hotel to our return drop-off, the professionalism and dedication to enhancing the client experience were exceptional. I was in the company of amazing tourists from around the globe, which led to forging new friendships and creating lifelong memories.
A special shoutout to Albert, our extraordinary guide, who went above and beyond to ensure our experience was unforgettable. He navigated through floods, mud, and other challenging terrains to ensure we always reached our destinations.
Thank you / Asante to Albert and Jockey Tours, my first safari was nothing short of spectacular!
Hope to see you soon for another trip with my friends !
