Masai Mara with Kalissa the Lionguide
Amazing experience in Masai Mara, the organisation was perfect, easy to comunicate and always at time.
Special thanks to Kalissa, his experience as driver and guide made the trip confortable and safety. He know about animals and know the park very well, cause his motivation we didint loose any seconde of our time and we could see all the animals.

Robert was the best driver you can imagine! He read our every wish from our eyes and we had more fun than ever before! Definitely we would recommend the whole tour company and especially Robert Kuambati as a safari driver, we will surely come again!

Incredible Experience, but not for the faint of heart, mind, or body!
Kenya is not for the faint of heart, mind, body, spirit or nose. (This coming from the guy with one of the world’s worst gag reflexes.)
AND. It is totally worth it, if you have what it takes.
Kenya has some of the most incredible, powerful landscapes I have seen, and hands down thus far the worst trash, everywhere. I am happy to attempt cultural distinctions for many things, this is not one of them. Poverty is everywhere, and even solving for that still doesn’t solve for trash.
My time with the Maasai, was brief, but powerful. They have some cultural practices I vehemently disagree with (male and female circumcision, child brides, but the government is trying to stop these) but the immense amount of litter in their village came from Coca-Cola, not ancient tribal practices. Just prepare yourself. They are a very funny and warm people who definitely have run into the wall that can be the future.
It was, of course, so stunning to see all the animals, we easily saw the “Big 5” more than once, and babies of those animals, everywhere. even if the stink of “tourista” is all over these activities, I accept that’s what I must be, if I wanted to see a rhino before they’re all killed by morons, stuck in nonsense superstitions. (Zero moral relativism for such things.) Being so close to them, seeing all their young, gave me hope. The tours were, for the most part, run well, I only got my back up about how some of the other companies acted (getting too close, driving too fast, number of people allowed in the park, etc) a couple times. Our tour guides at Jockey did NOT do such things, which I very much appreciated. Respectful.
Kenya is filled with dichotomy. Unbelievably beautiful places next to some of the most destitute I have ever seen. The progress that is happening here, like many other places, simply is not “for all.” (Mind you, I am not talking “modernity as progress,” it usually isn’t.) I just mean…the way things are going, progressing.
I have been in the slums (their word, not mine) from Mexico to Shanghai to Portugal to Turkey, and Kibali in Nairobi is the wildest one I have seen yet, set against a dazzling new Nairobi city skyline. Observation, not judgement.
My first guide, Alex, was a gem, kind, considerate, knowledgeable. We left some shoes with him when we switched cars, and he kindly brought them to us in Nairobi. I also had the pleasure of spending some of my time with an absolute legend of a guide, Calipha, who definitely game me the real scoop on everything from poaching to politics to prostitution. Revealing to say the least.
I did very much enjoy my time here. Formative. Beautiful. Heartbreaking. Inspiring. Like life.

Amazing tour and BEST Safari Guide!!
Had an Amazing tour! Everything went just perfect- starting with the picking up, continuing with the game drive and ending with drive back and the drop off! It was definitely worth every dollar! The safari guide Robert Kiambati was amazing! Felt safe at all time being his passenger. He knows the Masai Mara pretty well and has a lot knowledge about all the animals. It never got boring during the game drive, because he has a lot of interesting facts to share and knows the answer to every question. He took good care of us during the whole trip!
All in all - the best Game Drive I ever did!

Robert was really smart and open for everything!!
Hey guys,
our Operator Robert was so amazing and lovely to us. He was the best operator since traveling (had 10 guides in different countries) we really recommend him to other guests. His knowledge about Kenya was insane! Value for money was more than fair!
Best Regards

He was the best tour guide I ever had!
The service was awesome ! We got picked up from the hotel! Our guide was funny, nice and very considerate! Whenever we needed anything he made it or find it for us :)
The tour was definitely worth every single penny !:)
The first day we did an evening drive which already was great !
But the second day we did Safari all day long ! I can definitely recommend getting up early, around 5:30 to have enough time to find all the animals you’re looking for :) our drive was awesome! We saw 4 of the bis fives and saw lions four times and two leopards!
All I can say is we had a perfect trip and I can more than recommend it

Straight forward and simple to book and incredible experience from professional tour guides
Me and my husband booked Jocky Tours to visit Amboseli for our honeymoon trip. Our guide Andrew picked us up from our Airbnb and drove us to the destination. Throughout the trip, Andrew was very attentive to our needs and went above and beyond to ensure we saw the Kilimanjaro mountain during various stages of the day and also for us to see as many of the wild animals Amboseli has to offer. We stayed at Kibo Lodge Amboseli which was 10/10. The staff, the food, the view and overal ambience was the best I have experienced.
I cannot thank Jocky Tours & Safari, our guide Andrew and the staff at Kibo Lodge Amboseli enough for providing us with the most incredible honeymoon experience ever!
If you are thinking of booking, don’t hesitate and make sure you ask for Andrew as your guide.
Kind regards,
Nina & Ahmed
