Amazing
Travelling with Jocky Tours was a joy. I booked a 4 day safari tour to Masai Mara, and they provided great great service. Our guide was very informative about the animals, and amazing at finding the animals. I had the best safari I could have ever imagine.

Amazing experience in Kenya.
We booked the safari online some months earlier and we had everything we had agreed on and even more! Our guide, John, was exceptional: nice, funny, very profesional and really good at finding all the wild animals. We went on a 9 days safari visiting Masai Mara, Nakuru, Baringo, Bogoria, Naivasha and Amboseli, the accomodation was good value with kind staff (except for Naivasha were nature was great but staff were unhelpful and not profesional) and it looked like it could be a bit too long and "too many animals" but centainly it wasn´t!!! We enjoyed every place so much as they are quite different (flamingos in Bogoria, elephants in Ambolseli, rhinos in Nakuru, lions and leopards in Masai, hipos and pelicans in Naivasha,...). So never got bored and were left willing for more in the future!!!

Thank you were match! Our guide Richard
Many thanks!
We drove a group of tourists from 6 people, booked a safari for 4 days! Savannah, Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru. Everything was very good. Delicious food, cozy housing! Thank you very much to our Russian-speaking guide Richard! He always helped us, drove everywhere, showed everything! Many thanks!

Perfect combination price & quality
Great value for money. Our driver and guide Peter has been charming and has taught us a lot of things about Kenya history and society. 100% recommendable.

Great safari with superb guide
We have just returned from this amazing safari trip across 5 different locations in Kenya. Everything was very well taken care of and all our requests were accommodated at the speed of light. Our guide was Richard (Richie) who was extremely friendly, open, talked a lot about his country, animals, people and pretty much everything you ask him about. Kids loved his music selection during all those long rides between towns. During the game drives he was an amazing spotter - could find a rare animal miles away and show us the best of safari! The only small minus was the car itself - it has definitely seen better times a while ago. But wasn't a big issue.

Amazing Safari experience with Jocky tours
I would like to express my gratitude for an amazing safari experience which sadly has ended.
I was on the Masai Mara safari from 13th - 16th September and my game driver was Richard.
Richard was a great driver! Alert, patient and most of all friendly which provided such an amazing safari experience.
He made sure that we all (7 of us) got great pictures and checked with us that we were all OK before he moved off driving. As you can imagine, seeing for ourselves as well as getting pictures is a major part of the experience and I owe a massive thanks to Richard for making that his top priority. We saw ALL THE BIG 5!!! And even had a picture of a leopard in a tree eating a wildebeest! That is second to none!!!
He was also very informative and his English is very good which made for a great bonding experience as we looked to Richard as our leader because he was trustworthy and we can tell he genuinely had all our best interests at heart. He is VERY passionate about what he does and I hope he goes very far!!!
I feel blessed to have had Richard as my game driver during my first experience on safari and especially as a solo traveller where safety is of utmost importance, I felt safe on safari and Jocky Tours now will be highly recommended to anyone who asks me about doing a safari in Kenya! I have already passed on the company details to two people interested in doing a safari and hope they get time to schedule a safari with Jocky so that they can get the same experience as I have done.
Thank you Jocky!

3day Amboseli safari
Absolutely incredible experience for our family! Our guide was Edward and he knew absolutely everything about the place, nature and culture, could answer all our numerous questions, explained everything detailed. Great advantage was perfect English that excluded any misunderstandings. Would recommend to all our friends travelling to Kenya.

Budget safari with great service
Wonderful safari for a low price - $300 for 3 days in the Masai Mara. Beautiful landscapes, and we saw the big 5 (lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, buffalo) plus everything else - cheetahs, giraffes, wildebeest, hyena, warthogs, hippos, crocs, etc. We waited a few hours at the end to see a herd of wildebeest cross the Mara River. July and August is the best time to go to the Mara to see the wildebeest migration and cats hunting. We saw lions, cheetahs, and leopards with fresh kills. It's the dry season so more animals are out and about at the watering holes. We didn't do the cultural visit to the Masai village because another guest told us that you have to pay extra to get in, and it was mostly uncomfortable situations of them pressuring you to buy souvenirs or donate more money. You can hang out with Masai at the camps anyways.
Good overall communication by email from the time that I booked. Airport pickup and drop off, hot buffet meals along the way. Richard was an amazing guide - great English, funny, knew the park roads, and knew how to find the animals we wanted to see. He could also drive the safari van like a champ through those crazy rough roads. I would trust him to drive a school bus full of children through the Grand Canyon. We did pop a tire (surprised we didn't pop them all) and he changed it.
Lenchada camp was great - safari tents with comfortable beds on cots, bed nets, and a private bathroom with hot water attached to your tent. There are Masai workers at the camp that make a campfire at night who are nice and fun to talk to. Some other tourists even bought a goat from the Masai and roasted it over the fire. Just make sure you leave your tent zipped so the baboons don't get in at night. No locks on the tents. Dinner and breakfast buffets were hot and tasty, and also had fruit, tea, hot chocolate, and beer. Only the packed lunch they gave us for the safari day was rubbish - sandwich with dry bread and a few slices of tomato - come on. Inedible. Luckily I had taken some extra breakfast with me. The camp runs a generator for a few hours so you can have lights and charge your phone.
The only improvements I would suggest is that I asked to pay by card when I arrived but they forgot to bring me the card reader, so I had to take cash out of an atm later to pay. I don't like doing that cause atms and my bank charge crazy international fees, plus they're not safe and it's easy to get your card info stolen. You are also required to buy all of your own drinks all weekend (which they do tell you from the beginning). I would have also liked more information and history about the park and the animals without having to ask. Most of the time the guide didn't tell us things unless we asked.
When you book a safari, especially on a budget, you should know that it's rough, so don't complain that it's hot, bumpy, and that you didn't bring enough water. Of course there is no freaking wifi in the middle of the savannah, so don't expect that. If you can't stand up in a moving car without falling on the other passengers then sit your butt down, take pictures out the window, and stop complaining (I had someone falling on me a lot). And don't throw trash in the park.
