Our Guide James was very kind, patient, generous, knowledgeable, highly experienced,&professional
It was a unforgettable experience! I absolutely loved it. It was our first Safari ever and it didn't disappoint at all. It was a 5 day Safari trip to Masai Mara, Nakuru lake, and Naivasha lake. Our Guide James was very kind, patient, generous, knowledgeable, highly experienced, professional and an excellent driver. He also had great communication skills and was really good in English. The 4×4 land cruiser jeep was very comfortable and spacious. While in the jeep, we could easily take breathtaking pictures from sitting or standing. We went with a a tiny group and we all wore masks. I highly recommend going with a group because you get to know new people and it's cheaper. Seeing the animals in the wild is 10 times better than seeing them in a zoo. You get to see them hunt, eat, and nap without disturbing them. We saw elephants, zebras, giraffes, lions, wildebeests, ostriches, hippos, hyenas, rhinos, all kind of exotic birds, turtles, Buffalos, warthog, jackals and impalas to name a few but not all. We went in the rainy season in May but that didn't stop us from seeing the animals and it does not rain all the time and not every day. They are a very straight forward, clear and honest agency. Everything we needed was provided from food to accommodation without any extra payments. They offered the best price in the market and they also offer safari trips to all of Kenya's destinations. We contacted them from our country via whatsapp and they provided us with all the info we needed and and answered our endless questions. If you are visiting Kenya, we highly recommend Jocky tours and Safaris and to ask to have Hames as your guide.

A Wonderful 5 Days Safari Trip With Jocky Tours.
My advise to anyone is to go with the 4×4 land cruiser jeep because it is very comfortable and spacious. Also, if you are in a budget you can choose to go with a group. Also, while in the jeep, we could easily take breathtaking pictures from sitting or standing. We went with a a tiny group of five persons and it was safe during the covid pandemic as we all wore masks. I highly recommend going with a group because you get to know new people and it's a cheaper option. The prices that Jocky Tours and Safari offer are very suitable, responsible and the best in Nairobi.

We are participating in safari in Africa for the first time. All our questions were answered for the 5-day tour with my wife and helped in all matters. Our tour guide James is an incredibly talented driver and very knowledgeable. It is highly recommended for Kenya tours, which you can safely choose in all matters.

Awesome tour guide, incredible memory!
Words can’t describe how amazing this experience was! James was so friendly and he took great care of our group. He shared so much helpful information along the way, and went the extra mile to help us find all the animals we wanted to see! The accommodations exceeded my expectations, too and the food was outstanding. I highly recommend James and Jocky Tours for an incredible experience and memory of a lifetime!
Trip of a Lifetime!!!
Wow!!! What an amazing tour!!! Our guide, James was on time, Professional and very knowledgeable about the area we were in. His driving kept us safe with no issues during the 4 day safari trip. James was very accommodating to everyone needs and courteous when we needed something. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide/driver than James. He made the trip very memorable and enjoyed every second getting to know him. Many thanks to him and Jockey Tours crew!!!

Visit to the beauty of Hell’s Gate.
If you only have one day in Nairobi, a tour of Hell’s Gate is a must. It is a long drive but so worth it. Our driver and guide Kikitu Douglas was an excellent driver and source of local information. Douglas helped us with our Swahili and sites along the way. He was very professional and made us laugh. We arrived at the park and were matched up with our local guide Willy. Willy escorted us on our bicycle ride among the animals. We saw Antelope, Giraffe, Warthogs and much more. The scenery was breathtaking and the excitement of being on a bicycle passing a Giraffe is amazing. If you’re not a strong rider, don’t fret Douglas drove behind to pick up the stragglers. After our ride we were treated to the antics of the local Baboons who investigated all of the motorcycles parked near us. One of them got a little cheeky and tried to look in our van. Douglas sent him scattering but we have that great memory. We had a wonderful time and you will too!!

James is the best guide!
Many thanks to our guide James! All days James was very empathetic and attentive to us. And most importantly, James knows the savannah and national parks as well as possible! Namely, the success of your safari depends on this. In 4 days, we completely closed the big African five, and also saw hundreds of other animals and birds. James was very cheerful and sociable. Solid five! Only thanks to him, we will remember this for many years.

Good communication, excellent service and flexible
We had a fabulous 4 day trip in Masai Mara & Nakuru parcs in July 2021. Unbeknown to us, we choose a great time to go there (winter) and thus saw all the main animals that one could expect. Thank you to jockey tours for organising this trip: it went perfect, smooth and without a hitch. We can’t fault Jockey they did well here couldn’t ask for more.
What makes or break such a trip is the guide. Raheem who was our guide for the trip and he was just amazing: Raheem is a safe driver and a knowledgeable guide that knows the tricky roads of Masai Mara inside out. His willingness and ability to talk to other drivers enabled us to see many animals we would otherwise not have seen. Chatting with him was very pleasant and we learned a lot. What’s especially amazing is that after 8 years doing this job, his enthusiasm remains intact!
Finally I would like to add that there is more than to a safari than animals. the nature and the landscapes in and out the parc, the drive to/from the parc, the people you meet, the food you eat, the experience of sleeping in a tent etc. all this makes a safari a very unique experience well worth the money.
Ps: take a 4x4 land cruiser not a minivan minivans may be a littler faster on the road and cheaper but for smoothness of the ride in the parc, reaching some spots if rain falls and the general atmosphere a land cruiser is much better.
