Jockey Tours and our guide, Daniel were fantastic and designed the perfect safari experience!
Fantastic trip - our guide daniel was amazing at his work and really understood the animals but was equally respectful of them.
We got to see such amazing wildlife the accommodation was lovely and Daniel was just great fun to be around. 10/10 would recommend Jockey Tours, the masai mara tour and Daniel as a guide.

Francis is extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and accommodating. We had a great time!
The three-day Maasai Mara safari has been awesome. Our tour guide, Francis, knows the park and the animals and really seemed to enjoy providing us all with a great experience. We ended up seeing all of the Big Five, including the rhino that I really wanted to see! Francis was also very accommodating of the guests; answering many questions and giving us some options for pick up, rest stops, etc.
The accommodations at Jambo Mara have been very comfortable. The glass cabins are spacious and clean, the grounds are beautiful, and the buffet style dining offers plenty of options.

An excellent choice for budget travellers who still want to experience Kenia's national parks.
We had some trouble paying for our safari because my phone had been stolen and I didn't have access to my bank account. Their office staff handled the issue in a very courteous and professional way, many thanks for that!
All the camps and the hotel we were staying at, albeit basic, offered everything we needed. The food was good, and the camp in Amboseli offered a stunning view of Kilimanjaro.
The hotel in Nakuru almost felt too luxurious for a budget safari.
Our driver and guide, Dickson, was friendly and knowledgable. In particular, we felt his road driving was a lot safer than what we saw from many other safari vehicles.
In summary, if you're looking for a budget safari, we can definitely recommend Jockey Tours.

Francis is passionate about his job. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience!
From the beginning Jocky Tours was easy to communicate with, returning my emails, extremely promptly, regardless of what time of day it was. When we went to find the office, the directions were good however, the office was not marked from outside the building. Having a sign outside, the building would be helpful. We decided to pay in cash to avoid the 5% credit card charge. Everything was exactly as they advertise for our three day, tonight to are staying at Jambo Mara and the evening and day tour. Francis gave us the option of going immediately to the park on the first day so we would have a longer time in the park and we saw all of the big five! When we talk to the service staff in the lodge, they were surprised that we saw all of the big five! He is passionate and devoted in his job! It really shows how much he loves what he does! I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone.

Great team with an amazing guide/driver
I did the 7 day lodge trip (not an option to choose for review). This was the trip of a life time and such a dream. First I want to say a big thank you to our guide and drive Julius! He made this the best tour I have been on and just took care of me the whole time. It was a birthday trip and Julius made it extra special by having my hotel in Maasai Mara pack me up a cake and he had my group sing happy birthday while on the game drive. I can’t think of a more special way to have been celebrated! I would highly recommend this tour and asking for Julius as your guide. He is knowledgeable, helpful, fun and extremely nice. This tour was such a good value and the team at Jocky were super helpful and responsive to all my questions.

Jocky tours is excellent operator, but they owe it to their driver Lorenzoo
I am very pleased with our driver Lorenzo who was really kind. He tries to show us everything and tell us everything about the accommodation. I have my own comments about the camp where we stopped(Lenchada camp) The place was generally not well maintained. The food was terrible. If they have the opportunity, the tour operator should correct this accommodation.

Once in a lifetime experience!
The simple version:
We had a great experience with an amazing safari guide (Francis) that was a once in a life time experience.
The detailed version:
We went on a four day three night safari and there 5 of us in the group
We were picked up on day 1 promptly on the pick up time and the majority of the day was spent travelling to the first camp site with a few stops on the way. After arriving we had our first game drive for two - three hours before returning for dinner
The second day involved a full day game drive. It was fantastic and we saw every single animal that you could. This included Lions(male and female), Cheetah, Leopard, Hippos, Crocadiles, Babboons, zebras, elephants, giraffes and many more!
The third day was mainly spent travelling from the campsite to the next accomodation. We were given the option to visit the Maasai or visit Lake Navaisha but personally we wanted a more relaxed day. The hotel we stayed at was great! There was a rooftop bar/restaurant and a swimming pool which felt luxurious
The last day involved a short game drive in Nakuru national park where we completed the big 5 when we saw both white and black Rhinos as well as flamingos, Pelicans and a few more lions! After this we travelled back to Nairobi
A big shoutout to our safari guide Francis. He made the trip truly special. He would ensure we had the best views of the animals. He was actively monitoring the radio to make sure that we didn’t miss any exciting animals. He answered all of our questions and he had a massive amount of information on the animals and wider topics on Kenya. He played music when we asked and even broke into song a few times himself.
I feel like the guide you have can have a massive impact on your trip. This was my first time on safari so it’s hard to say, but I feel that Francis is definitely one of the best and you should look to see if he’s available.
A quick note on logistics. Everything is truly covered by the experience, plenty of filling and delicious meals and lots of water available. The only thing you need is some money for tips (a small amount can go a long way) and to buy yourself an additional drink or two (which goes down lovely in the evening)

More than expected!
We had an incredible safari experience! Our guide, Kikitu, went above and beyond what was planned, making sure every moment was special. We saw all of the Big Five and never had to worry about a thing—everything was perfectly taken care of. The whole trip felt seamless, and we could just sit back, relax, and enjoy the adventure. Highly recommend this safari operator!

The best experience. We love Kikitu!
We had an incredible 7-day safari experience in Kenya with Jocky Tours & Safaris, and it was nothing short of amazing! From start to finish, the trip was carefully planned, and the price was more than reasonable for the quality and service we received. We felt like we got exceptional value for our money.
A huge part of what made this safari unforgettable was our guide, Kikitu. Without a doubt, he was the best guide we could have asked for. His expertise, passion for wildlife, and deep knowledge of the area ensured that we had the best experience possible. Kikitu’s dedication went above and beyond – he made sure we were always the first ones to see the animals, and we often found ourselves in the best spots while other groups watched from afar, envious of our vantage point!
He truly became like a family member to us, always looking out for our comfort and well-being. Kikitu did so much more than we expected, from making sure we had the perfect view of wildlife to sharing insightful stories about the culture and environment. We felt extremely lucky to have him as our guide.
We highly recommend spending 7 days in Kenya with Jocky Tours & Safaris, especially with Kikitu as your guide. It will undoubtedly be an experience you’ll treasure forever!
