Well organized and very worth it
5/5

Everything was well arranged, specially the timing. Besides visiting the wonder of the natural park and reserves, the game driver also gives you free time to relax in the afternoon
Communication with our game driver (Joshua) was very good, he made sure that everything go smoothly and he respected the needs of the group. Also he has a wide knowledge about wildlife and nature and he answered all our questions.

An unforgattable Safari with Fidel!
5/5

If you're traveling with young kids, look no further—this is the perfect fit! We were beyond impressed with Fidel, our guide, especially with how he handled our hyperactive 3-year-old. He kept our little one engaged the entire 3 days we were on safari, which is no easy task!

Fidel’s expertise and passion for the wildlife made our trip truly special. Not only did we see all the iconic animals—lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, zebras, and more—but he brought each experience to life, making sure we didn’t miss a thing. From chasing breathtaking sunsets to spotting crocodiles and hippos up close, Fidel ensured we had the full safari adventure.

One of the highlights was having a picnic lunch right in the middle of the wild—surrounded by the beauty of nature! His knowledge, friendliness, and people skills made us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the journey.

It was an absolute pleasure being part of such an amazing experience. Highly recommend this safari with Fidel for families or anyone wanting a memorable adventure in the wild!

Fantastic four day safari with Johnny our amazing guide
5/5

Me and my mum had a fantastic time on Jocky tours, we did the four day one where we visited the Masai Mara and also Nakuru. Johny Jackson was our guide/driver he was amazing, he is very informative and passionate about his job which just makes the trip even better. The trip itself was much more affordable than others which was great and for me personally I don’t think it could’ve gotten any better. The office were very good and communication was good aswel. The pick up and drop off was very smooth and the hotels and camps we stayed at were very nice. Everyone was very kind and helpful and Johny Jackson our guide was excellent. He is very passionate, he made sure we saw all of the big five and gave us great photo opportunities as well as being very informative. He has a good sense of humour which made the trip even more fun. Highly highly recommend

Once in a lifetime experience with great guide
5/5

We went on a three day private tour with our guide John and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Starting from the first day, we saw so many different animals and had a lot of fun during the game drives. You could tell that John was enjoying to take us to the best spots as fast as possible and he provided us with a lot of insights. We stayed at the Enkorok Tented hotel which was also really nice. We would definately stay there again (clean, good food and service, comfortable, special experience). We would also recommend to do the private tour if you like to have space to take pictures and be flexible with the time and spots. And if you do not want to pay 5% credit card fees, take the amount for payment in Dollar with you to pay it in cash (we had some trouble withdrawing all that cash in Nairobi). Overall we would like to thank John again for making this experience so special for us!

Amazing experience with the best Guide Joseph!
5/5

Joseph is definitely the best guide! Thanks to him and Jocky tours, we had a great time in Kenya for our honey moon.
We saw all the amazing animals we wanted to see. Joseph always seized the best timing and the perfect spot to let us see the wild animals.
Also thanks to Hellen, she supported us timely and gave us the information before we booked the tour. She was the reason we chose Jocky tours, let us felt assured that we can have a memorable and great experience, which we indeed had.
Thank you Jocky tours, we would definitely recommend you to our family and friends!!!!

Much room for improvement
3/5

Hi,
I did a group tour with Jocky Tours and Safaris: 7 Days Masai mara/Nakuru/Naivasha/Amboseli. This was my first ever safari, and I followed this with another safari in Tanzania and a Mt Kenya hike with a third company. This safari I rated 3/5 stars, the Tanzania safari 2/5 stars and the Mt Kenya hike 5/5 stars, and I’ll tell you why. Firstly the pickup was 40 minutes late and the excuse was an obvious lie - said to be a car crash but there were alternative routes and the route that was said to have had a car crash had no signs of one (we went this way after he picked me up). This wasted time and waiting around unfortunately was the main theme for this safari - very frustrating. Other team members were often staying at different accommodation and we spent much time just driving between accommodation on dreadful “roads” that had been washed out by recent flooding but also waiting on others to join the vehicle over and over! For example, waiting for nearly an hour outside the Masai Mara gate for one person to join the rest of us. This person was also waiting at his accommodation (under instruction) while we were all waiting for him! Such stupidity of logistics that could so easily be avoided. And we could have driven into the park and looked at the wildlife while we waited for him there and he could have joined us by getting a lift in another company vehicle but no! What really grinded my gears is that the best times of the day for viewing wildlife in action, and in the best light for just viewing and for photography are early in the day and late in the day, and these times and opportunities were repeatedly wasted. I thought perhaps this company was just a bad egg, but the safari in Tanzania was worse - mainly because of the guide who talked bullshit answers when he didn’t know the answers - I happen to be an ecologist who has worked in multiple countries so I often knew more than he did and when he didn’t know what he was talking about. The guide on Mt Kenya said he didn’t know the answers to my questions sometimes and I respected this honesty. Big cats were the priority by far but some people really want to see other wildlife too like elephants, giraffes and birds. We spent a lot of time driving past magnificent wildlife just to watch lions sleeping. My recommendations to Meru Slopes unless you want people to choose other companies like I wish I had: don’t waste peoples time and take advantage of being on safari during the early hours from dawn and then again in the last few hours of daylight. The middle of the day is terrible for wildlife action and photography. Ask people what animals they want to see rather than assuming lions are #1 for everyone. Choose guides that are local (driving a 4WD isn’t that hard, and the Masai people should be employed as the Masai Mara was their land) and perhaps also with relevant degrees in ecology for example - although the local Masai already have a culture of knowledge regarding the wildlife there. This tour has such potential and variety. Until these changes are made I recommend trying a different company or paying more for a private safari.
Cheers,
Grant
