Andrew is an amazing tour guide and driver
Andrew, thank you for an unforgettable 3-day safari adventure at Masai Mara! Your knowledge of the wildlife and the region, your driving skills, and your passion for conservation made this trip truly exceptional. We saw incredible animals and learned so much from you. Your dedication to ensuring we had an amazing experience didn't go unnoticed. The customer service Hellen is also very responsive and patient to answer questions.
Asante sana!

Excellent tour and the most amazing tour guide
Wow what an amazing time we had in Kenya thanks to Jocky tours. The tours was very well organised and our tour guide was the bonus. We spotted the big 5 in Masai Mara. Our tour guide Khalifa was knowledgable, kind and a delight. His understanding of the area and the animals is impeccable. All accommodations were good and food was nice too. Nakuru and Naivasha were good highlights and we had a very good time. Highly recommended tour.
P.S. Ask for tour guide Khalifa if you are booking with them to have the best experience.

Amazing Big Five Safari Experience with a great guide!
We had an amazing experience on our safari with Jocky Tours. We felt everything was really well planned, felt reasured and the program was great. The 2 days in Masai Mara were the best safari experience and we also had the opportunity to interact with the Masai tribe on day 3 which provided a much needed relaxed day to recover our energy before heading out for day 4 and 5 in lake nakuru, lake nivasha and hell's gate national park. The accommodation and the food were both great! Great value for money and customer service.
Last but not least, I would like to give a big shot out to our guide, Khalifa. I cannot emphasise enough how amazing he was. I really felt like I wouldn't have had such a great experience if it weren’t for him. His knowledge is unending. His car and driving skills were a giant asset as we would access places, with comfort and safety, that other drivers wouldn't dare step in. And the connections that he brings to table are essencial. Hence why the experience simply wouldn't have been the same without him. Khalifa has contagious and energetic good vibes which makes him a very likable chap. Which in turn pays off as the other guides tell him animal locations that they don’t mention to others. We did 3 hours on our first day and roughly 12 hours kn our second day. But by 2pm on day 2, we had seen the Big Five. And some of them, multiple times.
I highly recommend that if you are booking this tour, to request Khalifa as your guide. Because all guides are to some extent nice and knowledgeable. But as I have mentioned above, Khalifa brings certain assets to the table that others don't and that is what makes the experience go from great to a perfect one like we had.
I can't recommend this safari tour enough.

Amazing experience and Ali was a great guide
We had an amazing time exploring Masai Mara with Ali - the experience exceeded expectations. We managed to see a wide variety of animals and were lucky enough to see a lion hunt start to finish up close. Felt very safe with Ali who was very knowledgeable about the animals and punctual with pick up times. Ali was able to get us to the key spots of action on our game drives. We enjoyed the experience so much we opted to do another final game drive on our last morning prior to driving back to Nairobi. Ali was great in helping accommodate this for us given we had travelled so far. I looks forward to coming back again someday with more family members and will definitely be reaching out to Ali for his services again.

Amazing Experience
We embarked on a 4-day budget safari adventure to Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru as a group of six. Our overall experience with Jocky Tours was truly outstanding. From the outset, their communication was swift and courteous through email, and they provided invaluable assistance, especially thanks to Minneh, who helped expedite our last-minute e-visa approvals.
Upon arrival, our driver, Jimmy, proved to be a remarkable asset. His exceptional driving skills, which I had underestimated previously, were crucial for a flawless 10/10 safari experience. Jimmy was not only a skilled driver but also exceptionally polite, dedicated to showcasing the "big five" and other wildlife, and always striving to secure the best vantage points for animal sightings.
Regarding accommodations, the camp option, specifically the Lenchada Deluxe Tent, exceeded our expectations. The food was surprisingly good, and the tents featured private bathrooms and reasonably comfortable beds. It's important to remember that this is still a budget tent camp, so expectations should be adjusted accordingly. In contrast, the hotel option at Lake Nakuru offered a more conventional hotel experience with commendable food.
The only area for improvement we identified was the quality of the two lunches we had during our journey, particularly the one on the way to Nakuru, which was subpar.
In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend this company for a budget-friendly safari experience.

Great safari experience
We did 4 days of budget safari at Masai Mara and lake Nakuru as a group of 6 and it was our first time doing safari. Our overall experience with Jocky tours was absolutely great. Before going there, the communication was always fast via email and they were very polite and helpful (special thanks to Minneh). When we tried to handle our e-visas in last minute, they helped out to speed up to approval process which was very important.
When we finally got there, our driver was Jimmy and we were very happy to have him. He is an amazing driver in every sense- I didn’t really get the driving comments before this experience but this skill is very much needed to have 10/10 experience and he is very good about it. He is also very polite, did his best to show the big 5 and others and always tried to get the best possible spot to watch the animals.
Facility wise, I think the camp option (lenchada deluxe tent) was definitely better than expectations, the food was really ok and tasty even, you have your own bathroom and beds are comfortable enough.Of course it’s still a budget tent camp so you should really set your expectations accordingly. The hotel option at lake Nakuru is more proper hotel option and also had good food.Food wise we didn’t like the 2 lunches we ate along the way, especially on the way to Nakuru was really bad, so those can be improved.
All in all, I would totally recommend this company.

Amazing, unforgettable and unique places
3 days lost in the savannah, more than 1000 km traveled without meeting a house or a man, in search of the "Big five" I saw all the animals you can imagine or that I had seen as a child in the Re Leone or in the millions of documentaries that I regularly watch and watched dreaming of one day going to see them live. I expected to see a lot of them but it was truly incredible. The guide hadn't seen a Leopard for more than 3 months because they always hide, You are so lucky guys, he kept repeating all the time, I have a surprise for you! I was lucky enough to see two of them, a cub on a tree devouring another animal and a female who passed us a meter away and looked me straight in the eyes, I saw Lions eating a buffalo at 8 in the morning and others hunting of the gazelles that escaped, zebras that to migrate have to cross the Mara River infested with crocodiles and hippos, unfortunately of the 5 that I saw pass 2 were devoured by the crocodiles...which keep them under water until the end of the rains so as to have a good supply of them.. an incredible rush of emotions, thousands of buffaloes, wildebeests, impalas, elephants, gazelles, zebras, giraffes, jackals, birds as tall as me, vultures, Timon, Pumba, Simba, Rafiki, the hyenas that at sunset they chased two baby cows, attacked them and tore them to pieces while behind them about twenty giraffes ran away, cruel and at the same time truly incredible images. I slept in a hut in the village of the Maasai tribe where they live, fenced in and in the evening they have to keep watch because hyenas and lions come close to attack them or the livestock. All surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and incredible colors. I have traveled a lot and will continue to do so, but I believe that this experience is truly the most incredible I have ever had. I'm still thrilled and I think I will be for years just thinking about these 3 days, however few but truly unrepeatable. A population of smiles, songs and dances where the most famous saying is without problems, HAKUNA MATATA !! Asante Sana Kenya see you soon

Standard budget option.
Our experience with Dickson was great. The safari was beyond our expectations - both the landscape and the animals were stunning. Dickson was a great guide and helped us spot so much throughout our days together. The tent camp was basic, but comfortable, spacious, and clean, and was a great part of the safari experience. Helen at the camp was very helpful and accommodating. We definitely recommend this as a great option for anybody on a budget, and can’t wait to come back soon. The only recommendation for improvement I would have for the tour operator is if it weren’t necessary to go to their office on the way out of Nairobi to make the payment, which seemed to take a lot of unnecessary time. Otherwise, they were very prompt and professional to communicate and answer questions over email, and were willing to customize our package.

Joseph is an amazing guide
Embarking on the 6-day safari that encompassed Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli was an absolute thrill. Throughout this journey, our guide, Joseph, emerged as the linchpin, transforming the safari into a riveting odyssey where we didn't just observe wildlife, but actively participated in the vibrant tapestry of nature's theater.
As we progressed into Amboseli, the quality of our accommodations elevated to a level that bordered on opulence. It was akin to finding an unexpected oasis amidst the rugged wilderness. The transition was so seamless that I couldn't help but feel like I had stumbled upon a hidden gem within the vast expanse of the savannah, an oasis mirroring the grandeur of the surrounding landscape.
The culinary experiences along this expedition were an unanticipated delight. Each meal served as a palette of flavors, harmonizing with the diverse hues of the African terrain we traversed. It was as if the culinary team had orchestrated a gastronomic symphony, with every bite leaving a lasting impression.
Yet, beyond the landscapes and the sumptuous meals, the true essence of this journey lay in the connections forged with fellow travelers. Amidst the captivating allure of nature's spectacle, bonds of friendship were woven, and memories were etched into the core of our beings. This tour not only promises high-quality experiences but also offers the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals on a profound level.
In summary, Lenchada Safaris / Jocky tours orchestrated a seamless blend of adventure and luxury. This tour undeniably warrants nothing less than a glowing 5-star review. I feel immensely fortunate to have embarked on this extraordinary expedition, an experience that has indelibly marked my soul and left me with cherished memories to last a lifetime.
