Life changing experience
Some close friends, my wife and I were seeking an adventure this year. There were tons of choices available when we decided to go with safari and climbing kiliminjaro. After much research we settled on Benson Safari and couldn't be happier. Our safari guide, as well as the owner Benson, were incredibly good and accommodating. Peter, our safari guide, was extremely kind, knowledgeable and professional. We can't say enough good things about him. Tomorrow we are going to attempt kiliminajro and we are super confident thanks to Benson and our head guide :)

awesome guide awespme safari
7 day safari with 5 days in the parks. Saw everything we asked for and everything. We told our guide Issa what we wanted to see and we saw it that day, Rhino, Leopard, even Hippos in the middle of the dry Seregeti. Was able to answer all questions about Flora and Fauna, only had to refer to his book one time. The accomadations all had wonderfull attentive service. The Kati Kati camp, without asking, even hand washed our dirty clothes while we were out for the day. Appreciated the box lunches and also Benson's variety of beverages as most safari companies were only offering water while out for the day. Great experience with a great company. Would recommend an African safari and an African safari with Benson safaris to anyone.

It was a great experience and I enjoyed seeing the animals in their natural habitat.
Benson's Safaris met my expectations on every level. Esa the driver/guide was informative, friendly and made sure we saw as many animals as possible. Benson's Safaris made my first Safari experience a great one. If I have the opportunity to go on one again, I would definitely go through Benson's Safaris Tanzania again. I would recommend Benson's Safaris to family and friends.

So much fun!!!
Picking Benson Safaris was the perfect way to start our trip. First of all, Benson never sleeps. He is very on top of his business, which instantly attracted us to this company. We booked our safari only a few weeks before we were to arrive and still Benson worked with our last minute plans and crafted an amazing package for us. He answered all of my questions but gently reminded me that I needed to get moving on my booking to reserve some of the lodges that we preferred. He came to say hi and meet us before we took off for our first day on safari, which was so nice to meet the man behind the emails. Benson even stored my wedding dress and husband's suit in his office so we wouldn't have to worry about transporting them during our safari
Our guide, Max, was so much fun and very knowledgeable about everything. He really loves birds and kept trying to get us interested in them too. It didn't quite work, but his attempts were really funny. Max is the social butterfly of the safari world. The man knows everyone. We really enjoyed riding with him. We laughed the whole 5 days. Max was dedicated to ensuring we saw the Big 5 and he did not disappoint (although I still question whether we saw a rhino or a big rock far in the distance painted with a horn). The car was stocked with wine, beer, water and sodas. They really ensured we were comfortable and well cared for. I could not sing enough praises about this company. I love that they are a local Tanzanian company and just really down to earth people. We had the time of our lives. We will definitely be back and will book again with Benson.

Fabulous Safari & Fantastic Guide
We booked with Benson to do a 4 day/5 night private safari for my husband and I in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. The first thing I was impressed about was that Benson never took more than 24hrs to respond to my emails during the quote and booking process - most of the time he took even less time than this! Our guide Issa was incredible, so friendly and knowledgeable about the animals and where to find them. I am still so impressed about how he was able to spot the animals from miles away! The vehicle we had was very clean and comfortable with water, soft drinks and beers on tap. Issa even had folding chairs and a table for our packed lunches which I thought was a nice touch. Overall, extremely pleased with the service Benson (and Issa) provided and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Awesome first safari with Benson Safaris
I had randomly picked about five six safari operators and fired off emails inquiring about tour we wanted to do. Within couple of hours Benson responded with details of the safari they offered. As we were party of four living in three different continent, Benson was extremely patient as we coordinated the details of our safari.
We were met at the airport by Sara and Zablon and transferred to our lodge. Sara answered questions that we had regarding the safari. Ringo our guide/driver/mechanic was fun and knowledgeable. Our accommodation throughout the safari was excellent. I highly recommend Kati Kati tented camp experience. If you love being in serene and tranquil place and feeling of being close to nature than Kati is for you. Seeing a hyeana prowling through the camp and waking to the calls of zebra in the morning is an experience. The staff at all the accommodations was polite and helpful. The soups made by the chefs are something to brag about. We were lucky to see lion drinking water, zebras, hippos, elephants, giraffes and herds of zebras, wildebeest, and gazelles. seeing Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater makes you realize this natural habitats are wonderful places on this earth.
Before travelling I had asked Benson about what types of clothing to take and he recommended taking warmer clothes for the evening and early morning was helpful. The lodges and camp catered to our vegetarian meals very well. In fact the lunch packs contained varied and more than enough food for each person.
Tips: Binoculars and zoom lenses for camera a must. Both my husband and niece found that they needed eve higher range zoom lenses for their camera then what they had. If you like to run and plan to do that then do inquire if the lodges are situated in area where you can do that. Our lodge in Arusha was up on hill with a road that was not finished and not suitable for running. If you wish to walk and explore the area then like my husband befriend one of the staff at the accommodation who will show you around. My husband enjoyed walking almost 8 kilometer around Arusha with a young hospitality trainee at the lodge.
Note: if like me you are interested in helping out any charitable organizations while you are in Arusha or other area it is best to inquire ahead and find out what they need. We had taken pens, crayons, books and paper that we were able to give to a orphanage that had actually come with a van full of kids to the crater. Also most of this lodges are associated with local NGOs and can provide opportunity to visit the schools, orphanages etc to see how they function. Lastly do visit Benson's Facebook page as that is how I discovered that Benson himself is involved in teaching soccer to the children around Arusha.
I know we had a lifetime of experience with Benson's and would not hesitate to recommend them or use the again in the future.
