Very friendly and caring
I had an unforgettable experience with Benson Safaris Tanzania! From the moment we arrived, everything was handled with professionalism, care, and true Tanzanian hospitality. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife, local culture, and the best spots for game viewing. Thanks to him, we were able to spot the Big Five and so much more!

Excellent in every way. Product, service and communication
We spent over two weeks with Benson Safari who handled every nuance of our trip. We started by hiking the Lemosho route up Kilimanjaro over the course of eight days with fourteen support crew. Our guide, Shaban, our assistant guide, Edie, and the cook, porters and others made our quest successful in that we summited on the night of the seventh day!! We then spent two nights at the Grand Melia in Arusha and then embarked on a six day safari to Tarangire, Ngorongoro and the Serengeti. If we would do it again, we would probably stay three nights somewhere in the Serengeti and head out from there and try to minimize travel time down by using flights or narrowing the parks we visited. Lots of bouncy road time!!!

We spent 5 days with our guide Obi at Serengeti. It was an amazing experience. Obi is a lovely person, he is a excellent driver and knows everything about Serengeti. Every day we saw a lot of types of differents animals. It was amazing!!!

Easy to connect, very good service, adaptable to our wishes
Our travel lasted four days and we visited Moshi area and Tarangire national park. We had some specific desires and Benson was very helpful to fulfil these. We appreciated a silent Saturday morning tour in Tarangire from the western entrance (few other visitors that day). The night stays were all perfect, in particular the Burunge lodge where elephants marched close to our cabin early morning. Our driver and guide Liberatus had exceptionally good insight on nature and animal life and made our trip an adventure.

Quality service and communication
I used Benson Safaris in 2017 when my wife and I did a safari in Tanzania. I told her I wanted to bring the kids some day when there were older. Well that was in Dec. of 2024. I was so happy with Benson Safaris that I reached out to use them again. Benson Safaris did a great job of communicating prior to the trip and the trip itself was grand. The two guides we used (one in Kenya, Edmund, and one for Tanzania, Lebetas) were knowledgeable, courteous and fun. We requested 4 out of 5 star accomodations and the places where we stayed were great. High marks all around.
