Best Kenya Safari Tour
We received exceptional service throughout the tour - from the point of booking the tour whilst we were enabled to make customizations on the tour through to the tour itself whereby our driver/guide was incredible.
From day 1 whereby I was arranging the tour I received great service sorting everything out and making a few adjustments.
When the tour started I realized how lucky we were as our guide had 25 years experience in doing the tours and thanks to his knowledge we were able to see all of the big 5 plus so much more. From speaking with other people who were doing similar tours it soon became apparent how lucky we were not only in terms of what we saw but how close we actually managed to be. This wasn’t by chance and was solely down to the expertise and incredible patience of our guide who constantly went the extra mile to ensure we had the best time possible.
I would also like to highlight the amazing places we stayed throughout the tour both in terms of being great locations and the sublime service we received.
Doing a safari in Kenya will no doubt be a great experience irrespective, but doing one with Tekko Tours will be a one of a kind.

Stellar customer service along with an amazing Safari!
Tekko was recommended to us by a friend and we 100% would do the same. We just got dropped off at our hotel after a five day safari, and I couldn’t wait to sing the praises of our entire tour. From the first email I sent, Carol was extremely polite, professional, and quick to respond to my many (many many many) questions. Her detail to customer service was the reason we decided to book with Tekko. Our safari guide was Steven, and he definitely lived up to the hype. He has been doing safari tours for some time now and his experience shows. Steven knew where to go to find the animals we were hoping to see. His driving made us feel very safe. You could also tell he was well respected in the field because of his interactions with the other guides and all the staff at our camps. We saw so many incredible animals, met so many wonderful people, and with the beautiful scenery of Kenya to go along it will be something we remember for a lifetime. In fact, we plan to return with friends and family and will definitely use Tekko Tours again. We would like to thank everyone involved with making our Safari as spectacular as it was. A special “asante sana” to Carol and our “Rafiki,” Steven!

Amazing Safari
Trip of a lifetime
We had a safari trip cancelled by the operator at very short notice. Carol from Tekko tours responded quickly to our request for an alternative trip and arranged a suitable iteniary for us. The communication was really excellent.
We were met at the airport as arranged. Jackson, our driver and guide for the trip proofed to be an excellent driver and an invaluable source of information about the wildlife we saw and all things Kenya in general.
We visited a number of reserves and saw an amazing array of wildlife. For us it was not just about seeing the Big 5, but also the smaller animals. Under Jackson's expert guide we managed to see an abundance of creatures, anything from elephants, rhino, big cats to birds of prey and small bee eaters( and everything in between).
We had an absolutely amazing time, everything was arranged perfectly. Thank you Tekko Tours for a wonderfull experience, could not have been better!cl

Excellent 9 Day/8 Night Amboseli, Aberdare, Samburu, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara
From our first enquiries into several tours, Carol from Tekko Tours was the stand out. She was prompt in her replies and answered our questions quickly. We were able to change things to suit our time frame and then if we needed to rearrange the itinerary, it was done with little fuss.
The itinerary involved a lot of travel but this was shown in the daily plan.
Steven, our driver and guide collected us from Nairobi and negotiated the Nairobi traffic with calmness and skill. We were well reassured that this would be a good trip. Steven was not the most chatty of guides, but his knowledge and expertise was palpable. His interactions with other guides along the way and with the staff at most of the places we stayed showed how well respected and liked he was. His eagle eye at spotting game was incredible and while other operators would attempt to push & shove, he would sit back and say, wait, they will come this way.. he was invariably correct.
The accommodation was mostly great. We were only not quite sure of Aberdare National Park & The Ark and the amount of travel to get there. We did not realise we needed to be there by a certain time to be group transferred to The Ark ( weird in itself). The traffic was horrendous and this was a Sunday! Poor Steven tried his hardest to get us there in time (unknown to us), but circumstances were against him.
Overall, a great company to travel with.

Great choice of locations and superb driver/guide.
From the start, Carol at Tekko was helpful, flexible and responsive. We ended up with a 2 location safari (Amboseli and Masai Mara), the latter in a great conservancy (Lerai). We saw many great things and especially in Amboseli where the guide (Issac) was from Tekko. Issac was warm, connecting, flexible and very knowledgeable. He also had a great instinct of where to go and we were often the first on the scene of something good to see.
Overall a great experience.

Outstanding!
From the 1st time we contacted Tekko Tours to our 12 day safari we have nothing but praise for them. Our contact in the office was Carol who was so efficient and patient in dealing with us. We changed our mind so many times and she was always back to us with new details and ideas without delay. She was a pleasure to deal with. Our guide for the 12 days was Jackson, a smiling, kind gentleman who couldn't do enough for us and is so knowledgeable on all the animals, birds, his country - he made our trip so memorable and we couldn't score him high enough. We would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Tekko and in particular our wonderful guide Jackson. Outstanding - Ask for Jackson
Asante for this incredible safari!
We arrived at Jomo Kenyatta airport at 6:45 am and our driver Jackson was already waiting for us. Everything was so uncomplicated, even though we did not prepare well for the 5-day-trip.
We started at lake Nakuru and then spent a day at lake Naivasha, before visiting the must-do Masai Mara for 3 days.
Jackson is a very skilled and save driver, both in Kenyan traffic and the muddy routes of the national parks. He has perfect knowledge about the national parks and animals there.
We visited Kenya during a rainy season, though thanks to Jackson we still had a perfect stay. He adjusted our plans spontaneously, even if this meant more work for him. With his outgoing and kind nature we felt at home immediately. He also received a lot of hints from other tourguides considering animal sightings.
Our accommodations "The Cliff" and "Entim Mara" are amazing locations.
We absolutely recommend Tekko Tours. Just tell them what you want, and they (Carol) will arrange everything for you in the perfect way.
We saw all of the big 5 thanks to Jackson, however we know that we were extremely lucky.
