it was a great experience, I enjoyed myself to the fullest
The servise at Mjejani lodge was on point, the staff was really friendly and accomadating. The game drives were very good, Willaim our game ranger was very informative learned alot of things.I would love to go back again. Waking up to a beautiful view overlooking the river with hippos and elephants was something out of this world.

An enjoyable child friendly experience
I was very skeptical about sleeping in a "tent" to my surprise, it was very luxurious kitted with all the modern amenities. The outdoor showers were awesome! The food was also prepared to the highest standard, though I wish they also could serve "venison" .

Posted on May 5, 2016Completely our fault, we do our best to deliver the best possible service but sometimes things do get very busy. We hope your stay at Nkambeni was enjoyable and next time we will be sure to follow up faster!

Restful breakaway
We enjoyed the stay at Nkambeni Tented Lodge, the outside showers are amazing. The GPS coordinates on google maps are incorrect so we end up asking surrounding people for guidance.

Posted on May 5, 2016I agree, the outside showers are amazing! We will look into the GPS coordinates and see if there is anything that can be done.
Efficient and extremely helpful
The safari tour at Wild Ivory Tree Lodge was the most fantastic experience in the bush we have ever had. We saw Cheetah and Leopard everyday. We will definitely be returning.

Andy was incredible. We cannot say enough good things about his readiness to help, professionalism
Thornybush waterside was perfect. The accommodations, the friendly staff, the amazing food, the caring attitude.
Chad and Ernest, our ranger and tracker, were almost scary in their prescience. We saw more wild beasts in three days that we expected to in a lifetime. The guys were thoughtful, careful and determined to show us all that Africa can offer.

A world that feeds, deeds and bleeds for the true survivial of the fittest.
A world that feeds, deeds and bleeds for the true survivial of the fittest.
What a memorable trip.
We were lucky enough to see all the big 5, including hordes of birds, mammals and reptiles. Had a very close encounter with lions herd, watched 2 elephants in battle, witnessed elephant breaking down a tree, observed hippos lazing in the water, caught up both white & black rhino, saw countless impalas, kudus, wildebeests,
Guides were friendly and knowledgeable. I would have preferred if each car had their own radios and covered different tracks each day.
Booked camping accommodation which is a dome tent. Tent was neat but got really hot in the afternoon. The miniscule fan is just not adequate for afternoons and the tiny CFL does not adequately lighten up the tent after dark.
Bush braai on first night was terrific. A hyena visited us for dinner. Next day breakfast was at the cattle baron restaurant which was very god. All the other breakfasts & dinner were at Outlook's tables- which were very good and fresh.
Thumbs up to the overall experience.
Suggestion- All safari jeeps should be equipped with radios, each day should cover different track.
