A most enjoyable experience - other than the driving in Park hours.
All was good - but in summer when the sun comes up at 4h30 ish and goes down at 7ish - for anyone who loves the bush - the very best viewing times are early morning and evening - to rush back into camp before sun set spoils a magnificent Reserve and detracts from the best viewing times.

kruger
i enjoyed kruger park.
i have visited etosha park in namibia and think it much better for night time activitiies as the lighted waterholes allow so much better game viewing than is available in kruger at night

Overall it was very easy to book the trip. All questions were answered and suggestions were made.
The overall experience was awesome. The one thing I found fustrating was on the first day when we arrived, wet had recieved an email saying what we would do each day. I noticed that it said in the afternoon we would go out on a game drive and a bush Braii for dinner. We asked our driver from the airport what time we would meet and he didn't know. We go to Kruger and asked someone there and he didn't know. We knew absolutely nothing was will very annoying as we didn't want to miss out on any activities. I think that you could avoid this in the future by the drivers letting us know where we meet and what time for the first activity. Once we had figured it out the trip ran smoothly.

The staff was well qualified and many animals were observed and photographed.
Overall this was a very good experience, but it was initially disappointing when the staff failed to pick us up at the airport and we had to call the emergency number and wait about an hour. The facilities were good, but not quite as nice as we expected for the price we paid. There were not enough power outlets in the bedrooms. Our room had one free, which I used for my CPAP machine, but the two rooms of our guests only had one for the air conditioner and both men had CPAP machines that needed power. The food was good, but not exceptional. The staff did a great job in finding animals to observe and photograph. We saw the big 5 twice on our outings. The half day optional excursion to sight see was worthwhile, but not quite as spectacular as expected, probably because we have previously seen the Grand Canyon in the USA and Iguassu Falls in Brazil. It was the animals that made this a trip to remember and KrugerPark did a great job in getting us in positions to view and photograph them.

A world that feeds, deeds and bleeds for the true survivial of the fittest.
A world that feeds, deeds and bleeds for the true survivial of the fittest.
What a memorable trip.
We were lucky enough to see all the big 5, including hordes of birds, mammals and reptiles. Had a very close encounter with lions herd, watched 2 elephants in battle, witnessed elephant breaking down a tree, observed hippos lazing in the water, caught up both white & black rhino, saw countless impalas, kudus, wildebeests,
Guides were friendly and knowledgeable. I would have preferred if each car had their own radios and covered different tracks each day.
Booked camping accommodation which is a dome tent. Tent was neat but got really hot in the afternoon. The miniscule fan is just not adequate for afternoons and the tiny CFL does not adequately lighten up the tent after dark.
Bush braai on first night was terrific. A hyena visited us for dinner. Next day breakfast was at the cattle baron restaurant which was very god. All the other breakfasts & dinner were at Outlook's tables- which were very good and fresh.
Thumbs up to the overall experience.
Suggestion- All safari jeeps should be equipped with radios, each day should cover different track.
