Exquisite in every aspect!
Thoroughly organized. Mr Esmail was brilliant in his organization skills. We didn't even have to reach out to him for any information, he'd always keep us in the loop. The guides were superb. From their friendly attitude, to their motivational pep talks that kept us going just when we thought we couldn't go any further. Definitely made the whole Kili experience one to remember. Definitely recommend Safari Big 5 to anyone looking to undergo this expedition. Big up lads! Keep up the terrific work

Unforgettable trip; saw all the Big 5!
Excellently organised trip by Esmail from Safari Big 5 which incorporated all our needs (including our complex dietary needs) at a very reasonable price. We did a 5 day safari covering the 4 famous parks of TZ; Tarangire Park, Serengeti Park, Ngorogoro Crater and Lake Manyara Park. Our friendly driver was skilled at spotting all the animals we were interested in seeing including the big 5 and the wildebeest migration. It was incredible how close we were to the animals, especially the elephants and the giraffes. Our accommodation was amazing and we spent a couple of nights in tented camps in the center of the Serengeti close to wild animals and a few nights in a beautiful lodge just outside the parks. We would highly recommend using Safari Big 5 to all our friends and family.
Amazing!
If you’re looking for an exceptional safari experience at an exceptional value, choose SAFARI BIG 5. The price (per person, per day) is one-fifth of many alternatives but delivers the full experience with flawless logistics and great accommodations. Perhaps most importantly, our assigned guide, Nadin, was a delight to be with. From the pick up at the hotel in Nairobi to the final drop off in Arusha, Imran Esmail at Safari Big 5 was on top of everything detail and cheerfully met all of our needs. The vehicle was in great condition and was driven off-road by an expert who was passionate about finding every animal for our viewing. The Kati Kati tented camp was beyond our expectations, with excellent beds, washrooms, and dining facilities. The Octagon Lodge was full of character and we especially appreciated the huge barbeque they put on for our last night. The Ngoroongoro Wildlife Lodge overlooking the Ngoroongoro crater was nothing short of breathtaking.
You can pay five times as much, but I’m hard pressed to understand how our experience could have been improved by paying more money. It was quite simply the experience of a lifetime.

Great Kilimanjaro trek
Three friends and I just completed a 6 day Rongai route Kilimanjaro trek. The staff was very responsive and helpful months leading up to the trip. The guides and porters did a great job.

A trip of a lifetime and Safari Big 5 made it a great experience.
Everything went very smoothly with Safari Big 5, from our initial contact to our departure at the airport. The price was very reasonable, and if you do any comparison shopping, you will agree. We booked a 6 day, 5 night, tour that included one day in Tarangire National Park, two days in the Serengeti, one day in Ngorongoro Crater, and one day at Lake Manyara. Each day was extraordinary. Our guide, Rashidi, was knowledgeable and flexible to our preferences, such as what time we left in the morning and what time we did our game drives. We stayed in two different lodges and tents in the Serengeti. They were all quite different, but clean, very welcoming, and well run. We also booked a hot air balloon ride that was not to be missed. The cost of balloon trips is always a bit staggering, but this one included a champagne breakfast on the Serengeti, not many people can attest to having done that! You can pay a LOT more for safaris, but we noticed they were doing the same things we were. Their accommodations may have been a bit nicer, but we didn't go on a safari to be pampered. You can also pay a bit less, but those people were riding around in big trucks that had been turned into buses. We had a private vehicle and a guide/driver all to ourselves. I would say that Safari Big 5 was a great value for the money.

Our guide was excellent. The hotels were memorable experiences. The animals were amazing.
I suggest going in late November or early December. The crowd is much less and the weather much better. The experience was a once in a lifetime. The only disappointments were limited WIFI and most hotels turned off electricity during the night (while sleeping).
