Trip to the Northern Nat. parks and to Kondoa Art caves was exelllent
The trip to the Northern Nat. parks and to Kondoa Art caves was very well planned and done, and the drives (guides) were very excellent. Good drive, good info on animals and scenery, good organisation at the lodges.

It was bloody Phenominal
Going to Tanzania culminated a dream that began in fourth grade geography class. I remember clearly learning about the densely forested Northeast where Mount Kilimanjaro is located- which is, by the way, the highest free standing mountain in the world. Furthermore, my obsessive drawings of three of Africa's great lakes in Art class further showcased my desire to visit this great land. Lake Victoria- one of the biggest lake in the world, Lake Tanganyika the continent's deepest lake and Lake Nyasa. I remember dreaming about the open grass plains of Serengeti which is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and scientific value. Over the years, as I grew up, I feared my dreams were a bit to idealistic and imaginary until I finally decided to visit the land of my dreams with Safari Big 5 and boy was I amazed. Through the excellent service of Safari Big 5, my experience on February 2016 was truly magical. It was definitely an experience where reality exceeded expectations.
The service offered by Safari Big 5 was perfect. I was in constant correspondence with my trip advisor who marvellously organised my detailed trip. I was cheerfully greeted as soon as I landed and from there everything was seamless. I visited Kilimanjaro, Serengeti National Park and Zanzibar. I cannot explain how wonderful each place was so I urge anyone who is, like me, dreaming about visiting Tanzania to go there themselves and enjoy the experience with Safari Big 5.

Big 5 made this the trip of my life!
My experience was wonderful and I could not have asked for more. From the begining everything was explained and itinerary shared so I knew what was happening step by step. Everything went smoothly from the flights to the guide (Nordean spelling ?) meeting us to check in at all hotels. The hotels were wonderful and food was great. I can not say enough about our guide, he was knowledgeable, kind and was definelty out to show us amazing safari. He was very patient even after 2 hours of me taking pictures of the same elephants and zebras! Being two woman alone on the Safari and twice having to go to a local shop he was with us for every step to assure not only our safety but making sure the local people were not over powering. He was such a gentleman, on the third day we wanted to go to the Maasai Village and then to the shuttle to the airport. He not only took us to the Maasai Village but told them to give us the full welcome which was amazing but when we arrived early to Arusha he dropped us for coffee and waited outside until it was time to meet the shuttle even though he was in his home town and I am sure would have loved to go home to his family. He was truly incredible and I would request him again next year if I am lucky enough to to go again. Thank You for this amazing adventure and fullfillment of my life long dream!

Well designed and implemented tour with trustworthy company
We planned a two-week Tanzania tour with SafariBig5, consisting of Safari in four parks and visit to Stone Town with subsequent relaxation in Melia Zanzibar. Communications with the group was easy and efficient, they properly confirmed our payments as soon as received and issued receipts and confirmations. Our driver Nurdin picked us up at JRO Airport and did an excellent job on Safari, we saw all of the Big 5 Animals rather close.
Accomodations were generally good, as well as food. Aranged transfer via FlighLink from Arusha to Zanzibar worked well on a small plane, was a pleasant experience on this aircraft. Melia Zanzibar has excellent location, very accomodating and pleasant resort to relax on Zanzibar.

An unforgettable stay thanks to the Safari Big 5 team, a big thank you!
A big thank you to all the Safari Big 5 team and especially to Imran, Rashid and Damian for allowing us to fulfill our dream.
Before the trip, Imran was extremely available and responsive at all hours of the day to help us finalize a tailor-made trip down to the last detail.
We first went through French agencies, but the prices and the lack of sympathy during the exchanges quickly cooled us down.
Getting in touch with Safari Big 5 has changed the game!
Once in Tanzania, we were taken care of from A to Z.
Our team, Rashid and Damian introduced us to the most sumptuous parks in Tanzania.
Our driver / guide Rashid spoke impeccable French, his ability to flushed rare animals delighted us.
For example, we could see leopards three times while this animal is considered very difficult to approach.
Our chef, Damian, as to place us to cook incredible dishes throughout the stay.
We do not eat meat or fish and we ate better than the restaurant during these 13 days.
In the end, it is undoubtedly the most beautiful trip we have done.
We were able to see not only the BIG 5 but also all the iconic animals of Africa.
On the day of departure we were extremely sad to have to leave our team.
From beginning to end everything has been done so that we only have to appreciate and let ourselves be carried away by magic.
If one day we have the chance to remake a Safari it will be with Safari Big 5 without hesitation!

Fabulous Trip
We have a fabulous trip! We stayed at the Simba Lodge and the Soap Lodge: both were lovely and both had spectacular views. Our guide–Joseph–was laid back but completely on top of getting us to see many, many majestic animals. We had a super time!

Excellent Safari in Tanzania - Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire -then Zanzibar and Victoria Falls.
We have never been to Africa before, and we booked a Safari in Tarangire National Park, Central and North Serengeti, and Ngorongoro crater; followed by a few days in Zanzibar, including Stonetown and a resort on the north end of the island; and then a visit to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. We left all the details up to Safari Big 5. The trip was amazing! Everything was taken care of- from pickup at the airports, to hotels, meals, transfers, Safari, park fees, lodging at the Safari camps..everything! All lodgings were excellent, and everything went perfectly. Our safari guide/ driver, Nurdin, was knowledgeable, professional and passionate, and the Safari vehicle was new and in excellent shape. We got to see the Big 5! Our guide in Stonetown, Abdi, was a friendly, knowledgeable and outgoing local guy, who seemed to be known by everyone on the street! It was comforting and enjoyable to walk around with him. Before we arrived, we were given the WhatsApp contact for Imran, one of the organizers of our trip at Safari Big 5. He responded to our questions and concerns quickly, both before and during our trip, and it was wonderful to have a responsive point-of-contact while on vacation in a foreign country. I would highly recommend Safari Big 5 to create your trip, and we will certainly use them again!
