Perfectly planned and carried out.
We were in South Africa from Sept. 15 – 25. The entire time in the Safari region was organized by Mark Garzancich, who started out by gathering information from us regarding wishes and, importantly, our budget. Simply put, his planning and follow-through were flawless; we stayed in 3 different lodges, all of which provided us with unforgettable, rich wildlife experiences. If we were to return, we would definitely have Mark plan the Safari experience for us again.

Second Safari Arranged By Taga
This was the second safari (2012 and 2014) that I used Taga to arrange all lodging and transporatation bookings. They also helped guide me in making decisions on which lodges to choose.
All arrangments were expertly and flawlessly handled. Mark met our party both trips at JNB airport upon arrival and departure. Of all the reserves, SabiSands is my personal favorite for the rangers, trackers, and overall game sighting experiences. I would highly recommend Taga to assist anyone in planning their safari.

Great to work with; fast responses and given all the pertinent info you need.
Celeste was great to work with and I have no complaints. Her responses were timely, her follow-up was great, and the entire experience was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our safari and experience with Taga.

Excellent follow up and communication
This may seem a strange review--we started out seriously considering 4 firms, and two stood out head and shoulders above the others for listening and meeting all of our specific goals, and providing good value. Taga was one of those two. We could only choose one, sadly, and eventually went with the other outstanding choice.
However, Mark was exceptional throughout our consideration. Planning, communication, willingness to answer even the most naive questions from new safari clients--complete cooperation and effectiveness.
I would not hesitate to place our big investment with Mark and Taga. Outstanding.

Booking our trip with Taga Safaris was a breeze. They took care of everything, and the accommodations that we had were wonderful. They really thought of everything and went the extra mile to make sure our vacation was a once in a lifetime experience.

Amazing Game Drives Spanning 3 Private Reserves
As usual (3rd safari with Taga), Mark was spot on with his suggestions of where we would have the best game sightings. After my many questions regards various lodges and having settled on 4 covering the Timbavati, MalaMala and SabiSands properties, Mark secured the reservations and handled all the ground transfers including stops at the Camp Jubalani elephant safari and Hoedspruit Endangered Species Center. On the last day when our air return to Johannesburg was delayed, Mark kept us informed ( the airport staff were uninformed as to the situation) and also kept my wife informed in the USA. The lodges were excellent especially Nottens Bush Camp as usual and the game drives provided more animal sightings (including the white lions of Timbavati) then all previous safaris. The only drawback was the unexpected heat wave with temps in the high 90's instead of the expected low 80's. Because of that I would recommend late April or May as a better month for a safari. All my previous safaris were in the cooler early may.
Each reserve had pluses and minuses regards animal sightings which is why I always stay 3-4 places on safari. Taga Safaris has in depth knowledge of all the facilities and properties in the surrounding Kruger territories.

Taga Safaris is your trusted agent for safari booking in Southern Africa
I was planning to go on another trip to South Africa earlier this year, and was looking for the best option for leopards viewing. I contacted mark at Taga Safaris, and from the very first communication he was very responsive, knowledgeable and professional. He helped me to identify the best places to go to, and then handled all the needed bookings in a very expedient matter. And when I arrived in Johannesburg for my trip, he even picked me up at the start and at the end of the safari, so I didn't need to arrange any of it myself.
If you are looking for a trusted agent for an African safari, I highly recommend Taga Safaris

Top class as always
This time we asked Mark to find us a last minute package for two days. We wanted to go to Sabi Sands, as the game viewing is always of high quality but we are also aware that it can be extremely expensive. To some extent it is fair to say that the game viewing is the same irrespective of the cost of the lodge/fixed campsite and we were on a budget! Mark came up with Idube Lodge but we could only stay for one night because they were otherwise booked out, so we also went for a night to Lukimbe Lodge (their sister lodge in another concession in the Southern part of Kruger.
Both places were lovely but for different reasons. Lukimbe is a 5 star resort with excellent food and a luxury room, but the game viewing is slightly harder as the bush is thick. Whilst one may not like it, Sabi Sands also has the advantage of many vehicles on the lookout for game and has a wider network of radio communications, whereas Lukimbe has only their own vehicles in the area.
Idube lodge has lovely rooms they are not very rustic which may be an issue for some when in the bush. The rooms however are very nice and have all that one needs for a wonderful stay. The game viewing, whilst not always quantity, is very high quality and one certainly gets up close and personal with the animals which is really why we were there. We had some great sightings of leopard and also wild dog. Brogan (guide)and Ronald the tracker were great, again they can make or break a trip like this. We enjoyed it so much we added on another day!
So all in all another success for Taga Safaris: thank you so much Mark for your endeavours and for getting back to us so swiftly.
