The best travel choice of all times
First i would like to thank Maureen for the best rates she gave us. My boyfriend and i did a two day safari to Tsavo east and it was fantastic! The lodge( Voi Wildlife) was a perfect place to be, friendly staff, great service, the view from the room was breathtaking, the night view, and the food was on point.
Our tour driver was a great man, Julius was patient, and good with keeping time, full of humour too., we saw alot of animals, some animals that you hardly see like the cheetah and lion, we were lucky to see them at close range twice at different locations.
The safari van was very comfortable and in perfect condition.
In general i would say the whole package was way worth the price!
I would recommend Kay Adventure tours to anyone planning a safari.
Thanks again Maureen, Terah and Julius for making our safari memorable!

A great experience , a trip i'll never forget. And a tourgide how understood his job, thanks Julius
From the day my wife and i decided to go on this trip we had some talks with Terah about the safari trip and got good info.
Tuesday june 14 we've been picked up by the cabdriver who took us to Mombasa, there we waited on the van with our tourgide and the other safaritrippers.
After we left Mombasa i got to see already a lot of the couintry wich i very much enjoyed. On our way to Tsavo we had a small rest for refreshing a bit and to look for souvenirs for who liked to buy something.
From the moment we arrived a Tsavo we could see right away the first animals, mostly elephants.
Realy what a special moment it was to see them in he wild natural enviroment in stead of seeing them in a zoo. After a couple of hours we arrived at the lodge where we spend the night at had a lunch and some time for R and R. The trip continued in the afternoon and it was only beautiful , the land, the scenery and all the wildlife we got to see.
At the end of our first day the guide got a phone call from another guiide who had spotted a group of lions, so as fast as he could he took us overthere. Wauw!!!! what a great experience was that to see this group so close to the van. I think they were so close to the van that i almost could touch them. This was the best experience i had that day. Now it was time to leave and go back to the lodge for diner and sleep,,, this we all really needed.
Day 2 , june 15. We had to wake up early for breakfast and left the lodge after that. The day started chilly but i did not even care about that, i was so excited about everything .So we all got in the van and started our second day. While we were driving and try to spot wildlife Julius our guide saw more then we even could see.He is a man who was seeing things we even didn't see and pointed us on that various times, i thank him for that. Also on the second day we got to see lions and even a couple of cheetah~s. OMG what a good decision to go on this trip it was worth to invest the time and some money in this, i realy can say this from the bottem of my heart! The trip went on for a few more hours and so we reached the end of the park. On our way back to Mombasa we made a last stop for some food and drink, after this stop the thought of the safari stayed in my mind. When we reached Mombasa our cabdriver was already there waiting for my wife and me and he brought us back home to Mwtapa... For all i can say : This was great and a beautiful, will do it again in the future, and for the people who are thinking of taking a safari i can only say DO IT, you wont regret!!!!.
Special thanks to Maureen , Terah, if we didn't know you we probally did niot go on this trip. And Julius thanks for showing us the beautifull park and pointing us at interesting things.
Also special thanks to my wife, without you i would not have enjoyed it so much as i did!! Asante Sana

Great service, flawless trip, good guide, lots of fun!
Kay Adventure Tours is a professional business, answering quickly to emails, with adequate information and advice, and a good quote for our 6 day safari. Also provided a guide (Moses) who knows about birds, as requested, and who also proved a very safe driver. Great trip!

Safari at its best!
We booked the 6-day Amboseli-Lake Nakuru-Massai Mara package for February 2016. From first contact until the end of our safari trip, Moureen and her team did an excellent job and managed to organize everything perfectly. Pick-up was organized, lodges were booked, the only thing we needed to do was to relax and enjoy the trip. Our driver Silas was so nice and friendly, we always felt comfortable in our car with our "bush family" :-)
Kay Adventure Tours is highly recommended, a perfect and simple way to enjoy a wonderful safari tour.

Unforgettable experience!
We went to Amboselli and Masai Mara through Kay Adventures.
They are very professional, punctual, honest, very kind and very helpful. Moureen is willing to clear any questions we might have and she plans wonderful tours. The driver we had was amazing, full of knowledge about the animals and the road.
The accommodation, food, safari..overall experience was wonderful.
I strongly recommend this company!

Amboseli and Tsavo
Communications good. We were initially cautious as we were travelling from Nairobi but the company is Mombasa based. Reassured by good communications; Moureen and the driver came to meet us the afternoon before the trip. Vehicle in good condition, 4WD minibus with game hatch, probably more comfortable than a Land Cruiser. Only three of us on the tour - plenty of space in the vehicle and plenty of personal attention. Voi and Ngulia Lodges, and Kibo Camp - all perfectly adequate and with plenty of good food, though not gourmet! All were secure and had good service.
Driver/guide Silas very safe and very knowledgeable; he guided and managed us well and responded to our interests. Plenty of game viewing including leopard coming to bait at Ngulia and elephants at waterholes at both Ngulia and Voi.
We were pleased to be back to these three National Parks after a long time (visiting others in the meantime) but in retrospect the long road journeys were quite a stretch (although watching the development of the new railway was an additional fascination).
Pricing of the tour was certainly competitive and undercut our normal travel agent by a significant margin.
Strongly recommended.

A perfect balance between comfort and wildlife
We signed up for the 3 night Tsavo/Amboseli group safari as we're not really experienced campers or wildlife lovers. We immidiately were contacted by Moureen, who very service minded and interested in fulfilling our expectations in the best possible way. The communication was smooth and swift, and Moureen arranged the safari driver to to pick us and drop us off up at our hotel in a timely manor.
The final payment procedures were taken care of on the first day of the safari, which was conveniently made by credit card.
The one thing you need to be prepared for is the long drive before you get to the parks though! The roads are not the best, but we never felt unsafe. The safari truck was an 8 seat mini van with moveable roof - perfect for animal watching. Our driver, Daniel, a local Masai, had been in the business for 25 years and knew all the potholes in the roads, where the animals are, and the people for VIP treatment very well.
The parks were incredible, everything was exactly as you'd imagine from the Disney movie The Lion King. The safari game drives take place in the early mornings and late afternoons for better chances to see moving animals - and we saw a lot of them in both sunrises and sunsets.
The lodges where we stayed were nice and cosy, from huge semi tents in Amboseli park next to Kilimanjaro to wooden lodges nestled in the hill side in Rhino Valley, and all included all meals except for drinks (very affordable still).
Two things to bear in mind when going on the safari:
- bring mosquito repellant, a lot of it.
- bring lots of small amounts of cash for tipping and souvenir bargaining (no ATMs in the jungle, and at times the card machines don't work in the hotels).
This trip was way above our expectations - thanks a lot Moureen and Daniel for an unforgettable experience!

Better than expected
Tour was seemless (and the cheapest after a few quotes).
I had a 4 day stopover in Kenya after travelling Ethiopia.
I was given several different options for my time, but chose a fairly standard 4 day Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru. I chose a mid-range shared tour, but given the time of year we ended up being the only ones on the safari.
The lodges were much better than expected, and we saw all the wildlife we hoped:
Mara Sopa lodge - on a hill at the entrance to the park where a lot of wildlife congregates. The rooms are large and lovely with separate cabin overlooking the gardens. Nice pool and view, bar and restaurant. Food was all buffet and of a good standard quality.
Lake Nakuru lodge - Hilltop position overlooking the lake and the park. This is a large lodge (with a great pool/bar area). Room were more standard hotel, with a balcony which was nice to sit on and watch zebra and buffalo graze in front. The food was a la carte and of good quality.
The driver (Cyrus) was also great, spoke great English and always wanted to be first in the park in the morning to get maximum wildlife viewing.
Id recommended the company.
