Memorable experience
My girlfriend and I found Backpackers Safaris friendly and very congenial. Our tour guide Anthony and the cooker Ben were very instructive and helpful. The hotels were clean, comfortable and served hot breakfast within our limited budget. We had seen what we expected to see in Africa. We will certainly recommend this tour to our friends.(:

Awesome last minute climb and safari!
I arrived in Tanzania from another African country without having organized anything, but Walter made it easy for me and I was able to join a group for both a safari and Kili climb at the last minute. The guides were very professional and we got lots of information about the animals. The food was awesome (I was impressed!). Kili is a one in a lifetime experience, not to be missed. I was very well taken care of on the mountain, the guides were encouraging but not overly pushy. I really enjoyed the organization and I highly recommend this company

Best memories of my life
I am happy to reply with feedback on the really fantastic trip we took at the end of May in 2015.
The tour operator did a professional job from beginning to end. We were met as planned at every juncture.
Our agent (Walter) was helpful all along the way during the planning. Our guide (Antonio) quickly became friends to us. He was knowledgeable and professional. I am recommending them to friends at this time, and strongly suggesting they ask for the same guide.
We toured a different park in Tanzania each day, and slept in a different lodge each night. The accommodations and the food were excellent. We saw all the big five as well, which is rare for a first trip.
All in all, it was a perfect trip

Good way to guarantee seeing animals
Communication is fast even if you are last-minute. You will be picked up from where you stay in Arusha. No last minute price changes on their part. The guide listens to the specific animals you want to see and tries his best to ensure you see them.

Wonderful day in the Tarangire National Park
From the beginning it was a very nice contact via email with the agency. When we arrived in Arusha, we met Walter in the office, who is the head of Backpackers safaris. He asked us, what we wanted to see and what our expectations for that day were. Our guide and the car were really great! The animals were very close ti the car. We could always say, when we wanted to watch, for example a group of elephants, longer. The guide told us a lot about the wildlife and answered to our questions. He was really fun to be with. The park is beautiful and on midday we got a lunchpack (Veggie option available). In the evening we were brought back to our hotel. Overall it was a great day and we would definetly book again with Backpackers Safaris. The contact was really friendly, wonderfull service and a great tour!
