We had an amazing adventure with Backpackers Safaris that far exceeded my expectations
Our personal driver Anton was very good with his knowledge of the park and the animals and we had an experience of a lifetime that we will never forget. Tanzania is an amazing country with very warm, loving hospitable people.

Awesome Tour
The one day trek was an awesome way to experience hiking Mount Kilimanjaro. Because of time constraints, I was unable to do the multi-day one. I was met at my hotel the night before by the tour manager who briefed me on what to expect. The professional guide and driver picked me up at 6:30AM. The guide hiked with me up the first leg of the Marangu Route up to the Mandara Huts. My guide, Calvin, was very informative and took me to see a crater along with some waterfalls as well. Unfortunately, I was unable to see the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro due to the weather. The tour guide and driver though were awesome and I would recommend this tour to anyone wishing to get the feel of hiking up Kilimanjaro. I definitely plan on coming back sometime in the future and will try to trek the whole thing (using this company).

Wonderful day in the Tarangire National Park
From the beginning it was a very nice contact via email with the agency. When we arrived in Arusha, we met Walter in the office, who is the head of Backpackers safaris. He asked us, what we wanted to see and what our expectations for that day were. Our guide and the car were really great! The animals were very close ti the car. We could always say, when we wanted to watch, for example a group of elephants, longer. The guide told us a lot about the wildlife and answered to our questions. He was really fun to be with. The park is beautiful and on midday we got a lunchpack (Veggie option available). In the evening we were brought back to our hotel. Overall it was a great day and we would definetly book again with Backpackers Safaris. The contact was really friendly, wonderfull service and a great tour!

Amazing Safari, on a budget!
The 3-day safari was the highlight of our trip to Tanzania. Before we left, we met up with Walter who gave us a short briefing. It was very nice meeting him in person. We had a great safari driver guide, very knowledgeable and friendly.
Especially Tarangire NP and Ngorongoro Crater were spectacular. In Tarangire, we were lucky enough to spot a leopard mother with 2 cubs in a tree right next to the road. The food was great and we stayed at an amazing campsite overlooking Lake Manyara NP.
To summarise, it's a great option if you're looking for a short safari on a budget.

Amazing 4 day safari with a great guide.
4 days of safari, staying in tents with catering, so it was simple, but that's what we wanted. Added benefit was buffalos coming to the camp of Ngorongoro to graze at night. Magical.
Our guide (nicknamed China) was absolutely amazing, spoke good English, explained everything very well and made sure we saw all the animals. Tarangire was packed with animals, Serengeti vast, quiet and magical with beasts (be sure to wake up early and watch the sunrise with animals!), Ngorongoro wet and cold (pack really warm clothes) but stunning with infinite herds of zebras, wilderbeasts and buffallos. We even got to see a pack of lions hunting. I was pleasantly surprised with the visit of Masaai village, which didn't really feel like a circus for tourists as I originally expected.
I had the best time of my life.

A life time experience of wild life in its natural habitat.
I went along with my two child hood friends and Mr Walter received us at the Kilimanjaro airport. From then on we were kept at ease and comfort by the Backpackers safari people. we visited Lake Manyara national park, Serengetti national park and Ngorongoro crater. We had a wonderful time watching wild life and our tour guide is a senior and experienced person and explained the life and behavioral aspects of animals. We had pleasant stay in the hotels and camps as well. We are planning another trip during the July-August period and I prefer Backpackers Safari for this trip also.
Best
Its very wonderful to know about the backpackers safaris and would like plan to visit the best places and do the best business. Thanks

Good way to guarantee seeing animals
Communication is fast even if you are last-minute. You will be picked up from where you stay in Arusha. No last minute price changes on their part. The guide listens to the specific animals you want to see and tries his best to ensure you see them.
