Fantastic Safari to Hluhluwe/Imfolozi and St. Lucia
5/5

We had a fantastic 3-day/4-night trip to Hluhluwe/Imfolozi an St. Lucia with Endless Summer Tours. Our guide Steve was wonderful. He is personable, knowledgeable, very hard working and a great cook. He really went the extra mile to provide a superior experience. While Hluhluwe/Imfolozi may not be as well known as Kruger, we lost count of how many animals we saw in so many species. We were at times surrounded by a herd of elephants, saw three lions from a distance of 15 meters, and had a long and clear siting of African wild dogs, the most endangered carnivores in South Africa. At evenings during the braai at Mpila Camp, we had to keep the hyenas away by shining flashlights in their eyes. Rhino, buffalo, monkeys, baboons, impalas and warthogs wandered through the camp. All of this without the crowds of Kruger. In fact, for most of the time we saw no other cars on the roads. In St. Lucia we added hippos and the endangered samango monkey to our list of species encountered. I absolutely recommend Endless Summer Tours.

Our trip of a lifetime in Kruger Park - 4-day private tour
5/5

Last May, my husband and I and our two good friends had an amazing 4-day private tour in Kruger Park with Endless Summer Tours. We were picked-up in Jo'berg by Rhys and his colleague who had arranged for everything: transportation, food, accommodation, night and morning drives - everything. They were such great cooks! We stayed in great bungalows and saw more wildlife than we had ever hoped for. Within 30 minutes of arriving in the park, we had already seen a leopard in a tree! We also saw an amazing kill by two lionesses which Rhys predicted perfectly before it even happened. He really knows so much about animal behaviour and we learned tons during the drives. We ended-up seeing over 25 lions (with lots of cubs) in total during the trip - and of course all the big five... I only missed seeing a cheetah so I guess it's an excuse to go back. :)

Endless Summer Tours provide that "special experience" just for you
5/5

All our queries were answered patiently. Payment methods were arranged to our satisfaction. Tremendous personal service. We were met at the airport and taken straight to St Lucia & were on a river trip viewing hippo, crocs,Fish eagles and African kingfishers before the end of the evening. Excellent B&B, fantastic food. Then on to Umfolozi - Our indefatigable guide showed us elephant before we even entered the park. Great lodge accommodation (elephant and nyala below our balcony), good food, memorable barbecue by starlight and hours & hours of game viewing and animal photo-opportunities with our skilled, knowledgeable and tireless guide.

Great experience
5/5

We booked for a four days three night safari at the Kruger Park. Our guide Steve picked us up at the hotel in Johannesburg and drove us to the crocodile camp for the first two nights. He was a great guide, showing us a lot and could tell us all kinds of details about the park and the animals we saw. Besides being a great guide, he was a wizard with the braai and made sure we wouldn't starve...we saw a lot of giraffes, elephants, lions, all kind of deers, rhino's, hippo's, crocks and on the last morning three cheeta's coming back from a hunt. I can surely recommend Endless Summer Tours. Flexible and reliable

Great tour, excellent guide
5/5

My wife and I have traveled to a lot of different countries, but this excursion is by far our favorite. Obviously, going to Kruger Park is great, but what made it extraordinary was our guide Rhys. Rhys has a deep understanding of the animals and is extremely passionate about them and his job. Because of this, we were able to see a lot more than the other tours. He has an incredible eye to spot animals that are far away, then have an understanding of where they are going. This is how we were able to watch two Cheetahs walk 5 feet in front of our car. It was amazing. I cannot say enough great things about Rhys and his company. I would highly advise to not do a group tour on these trips. The personal attention we got was incredible. He actually cooked for us the whole trip, and he's not too shabby with the grill (braai). It was great. Thanks Rhys.

Unforgettable safari experience
5/5

We (2 friends) booked a 4day / 3 night safari tour to Kruger from JNB with Endless Summer. Rhys was our guide, but not only a guide he was also a cook and an excellent animal spotter. We basically saw all of the animals on the drives with him. He is also very knowledgable about Kruger and the animals, and it was very good to have all the explanations on the spot. We also went on game drives organised by the camps, but honestly they were no better than the ones with Rhys. The only advantage is that the rangers are allowed to stay out after dark.
Since we spent quite a lot of time in the car driving around, it was nice to find out that Rhys is a good and safe driver. To our initial (and very pleasant) surprise, Rhys was also our cook for all the time. He prepared braai dinners, breakfasts/brunches and snacks along the way. The food was really delicious and it felt as a genuine South African experience.

They provided us an unforgettable experience.
5/5

Our trip in South Africa was fantastic. We decided to discover Kruger Park with our kids aged 16 and 20 (they are still taking about this wonderful experience). Anthony & Brett from Endless Summer Tour took us from our hotel in Richards Bay to drive to Kruger Park. We crossed Swaziland and they took care of us with a great professionalism. While in Kruger, they organized everything; we just had to look at animals, landscape and listen to Brett’s knowledge and little stories. With them we not only did a safari, we were part of it spending time observing animals and their behavior, especially elephants and lions. It was just amazing. They provided us an unforgettable experience. And above that they prepared wonderful meals and barbecues letting us discover braai and South African dishes in a very friendly and warm atmosphere. We would highly recommend these guys they are just great in sharing their own experience.

Unforgettable experience!!! You will not be disappointed!
5/5

Our safari with Endless Summer tours was hands down the most amazing experience ever! From Chicago, my wife and I traveled to South Africa at the end of May 2015. We booked a four day private safari at Kruger National Park. The private safari was definitely the way to go because we were able to do what we wanted and didn’t have to stop based on preferences of the rest of a group. We couldn’t have been happier with our tour guide Rhys. He was incredibly knowledgeable, super friendly and you could tell he was so passionate about the animals. He was also an amazing cook!
We expected to see some animals on this trip but our expectations were blown out of the water with the variety and amount of sightings we had. Giraffes, white rhino, herds of elephants, wild dog, hippo, lion, buffalo, zebra, you name it, we saw it. Rhys knew exactly where to go and how to approach the animals. We would start out early each morning and drive for about 3 hours, have lunch and then continue on for a couple more. We would break for a couple of hours and then went out for night drives. The night drives weren’t as exciting as our day drives but still a great experience.
On one of our drives, we nearly saw a kill!! A lioness was waiting in the bush hunting two impala that seemed to be fighting with each other. It looked as if she was going to pounce any moment when suddenly one of her adolescent cubs that was playing in the distance decided to get curious and run over by the impala which scared them away. It was amazing to see this even if we didn’t actually see a kill. Rhys mentioned that it is rare to see a kill and he had only seen about 4 himself. On another drive we saw a pack of 9 or so wild dogs. Apparently there aren’t too many of them around anymore in Kruger and was a rare siting. We followed them for some time and then they wandered off into the bush. No less than a minute later, there were two lioness in front of us. One of them went into the bush while the other simply walked around for a while. She was so close to us and even brushed up against the side of the car. Our hearts were racing to see this so close!
During our four day stay in Kruger, we stayed at Lower Sabre and Biyamiti cabins. Lower Sabre had a nice room with a cute porch that had an outdoor kitchen full of cooking utensils and a grill. Biyamiti was similar but a more spacious cabin and indoor kitchen. Each night Rhys cooked some delicious meals. We did not expect to eat as well as we did during our stay. Every night was a traditional brai (South African BBQ). We had chicken, sausages, bacon and steaks! Even for lunch Rhys was on the grill cooking eggs, sausage, bacon toast and veggies. We did not go hungry. This time of year was their winter and did get pretty chilly on the early morning drives and evenings so be prepared to have some warmer clothing.
Overall, this was an incredible experience. There are no words to describe this adventure besides breathtaking and magical. We saw everything we wanted to see and then a whole lot more. We were sad to leave Rhys too. We really got along so well with him and was great to hang out. He really made our experience that much better. I can’t say enough great things about this Endless Summer tour. Thanks so much for this experience!!

Unforgettable, simply the best!
5/5

From the initial contact, to planning and booking, I can't say enough how wonderful everything was. The complete package far exceeded my expectations. From the moment we were picked up at the Nelspruit airport, the adventure of our lifetime had truly begun. We spent 8nights/9days directly in Kruger and our guide Rhys was on top of everything. Talking to others at the various camps we stayed at (5 different camps, which were all amazing) I can truly say that we seemed to always be at the right place and at the right time. We stayed at Skukuza, Berg-en-Dal, Satara, Sirheni and Hoya Hoya. In addition to the multitude of Elephants, Giraffes, Rhinos, Buffalo, Baboons, Antelopes of all sizes, Jackals and Hyenas (the usual suspects), we had 1 Cheetah sighting, 8 Leopard sightings (one of which was eating an Impala and another was attacking a Porcupine - the Porcupine won), 9 Lion sightings (some 35 total Lions) and 2 night drive African Wild Cat sightings. I understand we were extremely lucky on the sightings, but Rhys and co put us in the position to be that lucky and that is what a great tour company and guide does. We even joked that they must of booked the animals for us too. We felt pampered and privileged. I can't recommend Endless Summer Tours enough and I would book them again in a heartbeat.
I should also add that I originally worked with another safari tour company on the dates and flights in and out of Kruger. That operator turned out to be quit flaky in communication, service and planning, and then disappeared at the last minute from contact for several weeks putting our booked flights and the entire trip in jeopardy as the camps were being booked up fast. Endless Summer Tours came to the rescue, worked around our dates and made our Safari unforgettable! Simply the best!!!
