Amazing
Everything went incredibly smooth, from our first contact with Germano who kindly provided us with all information we needed for our 2 daysxsafari to Nyerere. We were picked up at our hotel in Zanzibar for transfer to the airport. The flight was less than an hour and when we landed, the first thing we saw through the window were giraffes. Ee were transfered to the lovely Nyerere Tented Camp for breakfast and eere then picked up by our ranger mr Rama. We absolutely loved mr Rama. He is knowledgeble, charismatic and have a great sense of humour. During our 9 hour drive he really went out of his way for us to see as many animals as possible, and boy did we see animals!! When coming back to the camp we had an absolutly amazing dinner. Sleeping at the tented camp was an incredible experience! The next day we went for a bush walk with our super cool guide Didi which was also very entertaining and interesting, and after that we went for a boat safari with the lovely guide Ahmed were we saw all kinds of birds, lizards, crocs and came really close to several hippo families, which was exciting. Back for lunch at the tented camp, time for som relaxation and then we were driven back to the airstrip were we took the flight back to Zanzibar. Tranfer from Zanzibar airport back to our hotel was also provided by Daigle Tours. I would highly recommend Daigle Tours, everything is so well organized, all staff are the nicest persons you'll ever come across, it is an experience of a life time.

Amazing experience! Really passionate team, awesome luxurious location in the wild.
The experience that Nyerere tented camp offered was magical! After a whole day of game drive with a really experienced and passionate ranger, Rama, we stayed in the most beautiful, luxurious and relaxed tent whilst you'll hear the wildlife around you. The next day, we did a bush walk which was amazing. We were able to see loads of smaller animals upclose and guided by Didi the bushman. Nyerere National park really offers a unique experience. You'll have the feeling of being alone whilst being surrounded by elephants, giraffes, hyenas, zebras, hippos and many more!
This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had and I would highly recommend these guys!

Totally amazing!
We choose a 3 day safari at Selous -Nyerere tented camp and it was the best thing that we can spend money for! All the guys were incredible, nice, kind and very helpfull, there was excellent food, they taking care about the environment and have solar energy on their own. Our guide Ramah was absolutelly amazing and really good educated and knows everything about the animals and the park, so we talk to him hours about everything. We were almost crying when we had to leave this magical place.

Professional, punctual, attentive, friendly & passionate
This was an absolutely stunning trip, a once in a lifetime experience for me and my wife.
We booked a safari package to Selous with Daigle Tours for 2 days/1 night starting and finishing at our hotel in Zanzibar and the whole experience was exceptional. I will try to do it justice with the summary below! (Daigle also owns and runs the Nyerere Tented Camp which is the accomodation)
STAFF: I have to start with the staff who were AMAZING and really made the whole trip what it was. Shout out to Germano who was the member of staff from Daigle we were in contact with to book the trip - he was great with the planning everything and making it really easy and stress free - he also was a friendly face at the campsite and helped to look after us.
Thomas was great, he was our waiter for all our meals in camp and looked after us well - the chef was also fantastic as well as all the other camp staff.
Rama was our guide for the trip and our safari game drives and this man was a legend! Extremely friendly, funny and knowledgeable - it was a pleasure to be in his company!
ORGANISATION: Germano made this so easy, sending an itinerary and detailed information in advance. All of our transfers, flights and activities were all on time and run very well. We paid around a 40% deposit in advance and the rest in cash on arrival which was all fine.
ACCOMMODATION: I can best describe it as luxury glamping with a real bush wilderness feel. Each tent has it’s own hot water shower and toilet with plenty of bottled drinking water. Bed was comfortable and the tent is lined with a mosquito net which was great (neither of us were bitten).
FOOD: wow, it was SO GOOD. The chef did a fantastic job and Thomas was an attentive host. As part of our package, we had a picnic style packed breakfast & lunch on day 1, with a delicious 3 course meal in the evening for dinner. Day 2 we were given a 3 course breakfast and then a 3-course lunch after our activities before our flight home. The food was actually ridiculous, so so good! And a lot of the ingredients were sourced from the local villages. Compliments to the chef!
TRAVEL: Picked up from our Zanzibar hotel at 4am on day 1 & taken to airport for a short 30 min flight to the Mtemere airstrip which is right on the edge of the Selous/Nyerere National park and 10 min drive from the camp. On day 2, Rama made sure we got on our return flight ok at 4pm and when we landed in Zanzibar we were transferred back to our hotel.
ACTIVITIES: Our flight landed at around 6:30am at the airstrip and we were greeted by a smiling Rama in his 4x4 jeep ready and waiting for us to start our safari game drive immediately (no time to waste!). It was a truly amazing day, we saw so many animals including elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes and more - it’s an experience we’ll never forget. In total, we were out for around 11.5 hours for the day, including 2 stops for a picnic style breakfast & lunch (included) which Rama served up in a safe place. We sat eating our lunch watching over a watering hole whilst crocodiles were eating their lunch too - a deceased hippo!
After a good night sleep, we went for a walking tour in the morning of day 2 with a local man called Didi which was really cool, and then we went on a boat trip down the Rufiji River and saw lots of crocs and hippos as well as other wildlife and interesting information from our guides from the local village.
Lastly, we visited the local village on foot where Didi showed us around to give us an experience of life in a Tanzanian village which was really enjoyable.
Overall, we found our trip to be excellent value for money with 2 action packed days with some great hospitality and facilities at the camp. Highly recommended to anyone thinking of going on a safari in Tanzania!
Thank you Rama, Germano, Thomas, Didi and all the staff at Daigle Tours and the Nyerere Tented Camp!

We are 5 Norwegians who highly recommend Daigel Torus. A day trip to Mikumi is something we will never forget. Very nice and knowledgeable guide in a lovely setting. Next time we will also have a sunset and sunrise with the wild animals :-) We will return

Daigle tours is recommendable
I had a three day tour with Daigle Tours to Mikumi and Udzungwa national parks in January 2017, and I enjoyed the tour very much. From the beginning, Samwel of Daigle Tours always responded to my inquiry email promptly, and my tour guide Kapande (don't mind if incorrect spelling) took good care of me. Thank you Daigle Tours

More than a Safari
Before we start our beach holiday on Sansibar we wanted to have a safari trip in Tanzania. We have visited many homepages with interesting Safaris. Daigle Tours quoted the best for us:
Start: Tanzania/Selous Safari => End: Sansibar Stone Town Tour
The organisation was very good. Manager Samwel replied every mail fast and trustful.
When we arrived at Dar es Salaam at 2:30 in the night we were picked up from our guide Kapande directly from the airport.
First day we were in Dar es Salaam in a good Hotel direclty at the coast. We had very good breakfast and dinner which was included in our booking like every following days.
On the second day we started our tour to Selous. During the trip we had the chance to see very much of african/tanzanian live. It was very interesting to watch people, behavior and land scapes while we drove to Selous.
In Selous we had a safari on the water where we saw exotic birds, crocodiles, hippos and very tall lizards. Due the low water-level in July we could enter a sandbank where we could observe a hippo family not far from us and an amazing sunset. This one was probably the best sunset we have ever seen.
To lie in the sand, which is actualy the ground of a big river, while watching hippos relaxing in their own territory, during the sun goes down.. Awesome..
Next day we had a full game reserve drive which was also an absolut highlight. We have seen elefants, giraff, zebras, garzelle, hyena, eagle and many many many more animals in wildness. Unfortunately we have not spotted lions but our guide has looked for known spots to get a look of rare animals. We have noted that he was interested to show us as much as possible. A good feeling for us. This is why we were lucky to spot elefants which became more rare from year to year in Selous. Our guide is a good one we think!
Next day we drove back to Dar es Salaam to take a ferry over to Sansibar. When we arrived we were picked up again from another guide who drove us to a wunderful hotel at the east coast of Sansibar. It was good for us to make the transfer over to Sansibar with an organized and trustful tour. Everything went alright.
The day after we made an interesting Stone Town Tour and a Spice Farm Tour. It was a good ending for our very exciting week. At the very end our guide even brought us to our hotel.
All in all we had an incredible week. We have seen so many things from african life and not only animals and a secure transfer to Sansibar what we thought when we booked this safari.
We had a really good time because it was just more than a safari for us.

Last Request Made Possible
I contacted Daigle tours with a late request as to whether a day out could be arranged for me. Samwel responded quickly with details on two options. Due to the late booking, some flexibility was needed on how I was to pay for the day and Samwel agreed to pick me up early and stop at ATMs to collect the payment in cash.
The day went really smoothly with hand over between different guides and using different modes of transport - something that I could not have arranged myself within the time frame I had.
Thoroughly enjoyed my day in Zanzibar and would recommend Daigle Tours to others. I hope to do norther circuit safari one day and would contact Daigle as my first contact to arrange this.

Reliable, Knowledgeable, safe company.
I highly recommend working with Daigle Tours. They were very easy to communicate with via e-mail prior to the tour and even in Tanzania they sent e-mails to confirm pick-ups. All transportation arrangements were on time and always had a sign with my name on it. The safari was such an amazing experience and our tour guide was a huge credit to this. He was very knowledgeable and informed us on the daily schedule. He did everything he could to try and find the animals my husband and I were eager to see. My only advise is to not do a day tour from DAR to Mikumi National Park. The drive can take more than 5 hours due to traffic and it is not safe and if we had chose this route it would of ruined our experience. Spend the extra money and stay a night in the beautiful wild!
