One of the most amazing experiences of my life thanks to the wonderful Davis and Robert at Nyasi
5/5

Nyasi is a Tanzanian company established and managed by the highly experienced and well-respected Davis and his cousin Robert, who both grew up in the Iringa area of southern Tanzania. My 17-year-old son and I spent two weeks on safari in southern and northern Tanzania visiting Selous Game Reserve, Ruaha National Park, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. We were guided and driven by Davis in the south; and his long-term friend Ayoub in the north. Davis and Robert put together a wonderful and thoughtful intinerary for us and made lots of insightful suggestions that added to the whole trip so I recommend seeking their advice and involvement on any trip to East Africa as their knowledge and contacts are extensive. We felt extremely lucky to be with what must be two of the most experienced and knowledgeable driver/guides in Tanzania. We saw everything we wanted to as they really know the parks, the wildlife and the local people and communities. Importantly, Davis is one of the most genuine and principled people I have ever met; he loves his job; he is so passionate about the wildlife and conservation and he has a great sense of fun. His enthusiasm seemed almost matched to ours on seeing the wildlife for the first time! You really get to know Tanzania, the animals and the people if you experience it through Nyasi and you can completely relax and feel safe as you will be in the hands of experts. We are definitely planning to return to do more safaris with Davis and his team.

Great Safari.
Tourguide Henry and Robert were very nice and we had a great lodge in Udzungwa!

Had a fun trip to Mikumi National Park
5/5

The entire 2 day trip was well arranged and managed. Davis was our guide and he was very knowledgeable. He also had a very sharp eye and could spot animals that no one else could. He knew where to take us, what to do, and got us very close to lions, zebras, elephants, etc.

Everyone in our group had a great time. Highly recommended!

Professional and child-freindly
5/5

As we were going on safari with our 2 and 4 year-olds, we had had our doubts as to whether the trip involving a 20 -hour drive over two days was doable but we needn't have worried. Nyasi provided a child car seat - new and very clean, I should note, the 4WD was comfortable and our guide "Six" friendly and attentive. He was willing to make stops on the way as frequently as necessary for the kids, but we didn't have to, as the ride, albeit long, wasn't all that difficult.
The tour manager Robert was from the beginning very pleasant in our email exchange, and unlike other operators, Nyasi weren't preoccupied with prepayment. Their offer was the best as they did not charge the kids, offered the accommodation that we wanted (Transwiss) and the second day morning game drive until 12:00 in contrast to some other operators offering a shorter one. They were flexible on the meal options and gave us a choice between lunch in our lodge or inside the park, and packed lunch or hot lunch on the way on day two, even though, as I understand, some of these options were more expensive than the others.
Six the guide made sure we got to see most of the animals including the lions and leopards, and was knowledgeable, friendly and patient.
Altogether, we all enjoyed the trip very much, including the little ones, and I can highly recommend Nyasi Adventure, particularly when traveling with kids.

Nice 3 day getaway with different activities
5/5

This 3 day safari is nice getaway from Dar. The road from Dar to Selous is very good and not busy at all. Last 2,5 hours is a dirt road which is in good condition. In Selous we stayed in a nice and simple camp. The food is good as Nyasi brings his one cook. During the 3 days there are 3 different types of safari. By boat, by car and by foot, which is very nice.
Before the safari the communication is very clear and I didn't had any misunderstanding.

All with all a very good experience.

Amazing experience with the nicest people
5/5

Nyasi adventures was a lovely company to go with. They took care of all our needs and were the friendliest people I have met. Their knowledge of the areas was outstanding and any question we could think of, they could answer. They gave me one of the best experiences of my life and when I come back there is no other company I would even consider.

Exceptional trip to Ngorongoro
5/5

I had a absolutely wonderful trip to Ngorongoro Conservation Area! None of it would have been possible without Davis Albert at Nyasi Adventure. I was in the area for a work trip and had no time to plan a safari. Davis was extremely helpful and responsive during the process. All of the accommodations, meals, activities, etc. were extremely well planned. I also had the pleasure of having a private tour with two guides. Both Davis and Emmanuel were very well informed and could answer all my conservation/wildlife questions during the safari. They were both so kind and helpful! Many thanks to Davis and Emmanuel at Nyasi Adventure; I hope I can go on a safari with them again!

Everything was very professional and accurate
5/5

We took a short safari to Mikumi on our way to Zanzibar. Nyasi Adventure offered the best price out of 11 agencies I've contacted and were among the first to answer my price request mail.

We've booked without any deposit. Nyasi's manager and driver met us at the airport in the afternoon upon arrival, I've paid the settled amount and got an official receipt. The car was ok (the very vehicle we went to the safari). Not new, but comfortable enough (no air conditioning).

We got to Mikumi in the evening (our driver, Gaston, was great at getting us to Tan Swiss Lodge where we stayed on time, so we could get some sleep after a long flight).

In the morning we went out to the safari. There were some difficulties at the entrance (some troubles with our driver paying with a card of another company on his previous visit), so we've lost about an hour.

It was all compensated bu a most wonderful safari! We've even saw a lioness (how our driver noticed her under a bush - it's still a mystery, we've managed to see her only after he drove the car on a few-meter distance!), and a great pack of elephants (with babies), crossing our road and posing for us.

We were back at the Dar as Salam airport right in time for our flight to Zanzibar.

To sum up: that was our first trip to Africa, and I've heard that local people are not the most accurate in terms of timing (and our further experience confirmed that). But with Nyasi Adventure everything was different. They've delivered everything they'd promised, everything we'd agreed upon, for a fair price, at the right time. There were a few drawbacks (at the park entrance), but we were compensated for that with a great safari experience.

And, a big "thank you" goes to Gaston, our driver and guide. He knows his job really well, both as a driver and a guide.

When we come back to Tanzania, I hope to go with Nyasi Adventure for a longer safari. Thank you!

A dream honeymoon and trip of a lifetime
5/5

After alot of research we decided to book with Nyasi for our honeymoon safari. From the very first contact with Robert the entire process was efficient and very well handled with Robert giving us alot of very useful advice to help customise the tour to exactly what we wanted.

We did a southern and northern safari with Davis as our guide in the south and Manuel as our guide in the north. The whole safari was excellent and very well organised with both Davis and Manuel being fantastic guides who looked after us fantastically and really made it the trip of a lifetime we had hoped it would be.

We saw so many animals and learned so much about the tanzanian culture and people that was made even more special with the expert knowledge of our guides.

We would absolutely recommend Nyasi for your safari (And have been to our colleagues!)
