Fantastic 2 day safari in Mikumi National Park
5/5

We were on a two day safari to Mikumi with a fantastic guide who was very nice and knowledgeable.
On the way to and from the safari he explained things about Tanzania and about the scenery we went through, which was very interesting to listen to.
We were lucky with both weather and seeing animals on both days. Our guide knew exactly where to take us, which made us come very close to the animals. He could also teatch us things about the animals, how they live or how they get their food etc. We saw lots of lions, giraffes, elephants, zebras, impalas, hippos, birds and many many more..

We can certainly recommend booking a safari with Nyasi!

Work Field Visit to Morogoro and Mikumi
5/5

Davis was knowledgeable, safe, punctual, and a great travel companion. Davis saved my life (long story).

I was doing work out in Morogoro, and he was able to navigate back roads (panya roads) with ease. When we went to Mikumi, he knew where the good spots were to spot wildlife. Overall, I had a great experience with Nyasi Adventure.

In addition, payment was easy and they took credit card through an online link.

WOW! If your thinking of going on a Safari don't think any more. Make it Happen you wont regret it.

African safari has been on my bucket list and something my dad and I have always wanted to do. We chose to go in August during the dry season hoping to see more animals around watering holes. We Booked through Nyasi Adventure. Robert was great with email communication and making sure we got our flights and hotels arranged. He listened to what we wanted to get out of our Safari and made a seven day itinerary for us. Robert responded to my every email within 24 hours.
We landed and took a taxi to our hotel where we spent our first night in Del mar. Our safari was a private tour with my dad and I in a 4WD photographic pop-up roof safari vehicle. Our first guide Davis who spoke very good english. Davis picked us up from our hotel and we started our drive to the Selous game reserve where we stayed at Selous Hippo lodge. Everyone was very friendly and the food was good. We arrived at the lodge in time for lunch and then took time to get settled. Later in the afternoon we took a two hour boat safari with a guide from the lodge through the Rufiji river where we were able to see Crocodiles, hipos, and many species of birds. We also learned some African history. Two hours was just the right amount of time on the boat. We went back and ate dinner. We always had plenty of food and the food was always amazing.
Next day we ate breakfast at 7AM and then Davis our guide took us out on the Selous game reserve where we spent the day. We took a box lunch so we could stay out and see more animals. We saw so many animals which included Lions eating a recently killed Giraffe, Buffalo, giraffe, elephant, Zebra, etc. In the Selous game reserve we were able to see a diversity of wetland, dry grass land, and light acacia forest. Im not sure if the game reserve opens earlier. It would be nice to be able to be out on the reserve when the sun rises. But that may be difficult to do when staying in a lodge when breakfast is scheduled.
We ended up not having a third day at Selous or a half day walking safari the fourth day which ended up being just fine. We ended up catching a flight out early on our third day to Serengiti National Park. We were greeted by Frank who would be our guide for the next five days. We opted for the tented camps/lodging option which was perfect for us. The weather was cool and our tent included a bed, flushing toilet and a warm shower. Frank was very knowledgable about the African history and wild life. He was amazing at always making sure our vehicle was in the perfect location to get the best photos. We were able to see most of the animals that were listed in our guide's book. We were able to see five Cheetahs, Over a 100 lions with several recent kills, two Servals which are hard to find, two Rhinos which are also difficult to find, Several Leopards with recent kills, a lot of elephants, Zebras, Hundreds of giraffes, cape buffalo, Crocodiles, hyenas, impalas, wildebeests, Hartebeest, Thomson's and Grant's Gazelle, bush buck, water buck, mountain reed buck, baboons, monkeys, warthogs, dwarf mongoose, Damara Dik-Dik, Eland, Kudu, and many others. We also saw many bird species. Frank could spot things other guides would just drive by. The weather was cool in the mornings and evenings which was refreshing. Food was always good.
Our sixth day we went to the Ngorongoro crater where we spent the afternoon. It is the 8th natural wonder of the world. Animals seemed to be more concentrated here. After a half day in the Crater We then drove to Ngorongora lodge which was beautiful. Our last day we traveled to the Arusha airport. As we traveled we visited with our guide and he stopped at small shops along the way to get souvenirs. We flew out and arrived back in Dar where Robert picked us up and took us to our Hotel.
Over all this was an amazing trip. I could have not planned it better myself. Everything went smoothly. Everyone went out of their way to make our trip memorable. I would definitely recommend Nyasi Adventure for your future Safari without any hesitation. They will plan the perfect Safari for you. Don't wait any longer if your thinking about a Safari you wont regret it. Go to their website directly which helps them avoid additional advertising fees. Robert and Davis will take great care of you.

Professional customer service, great experience, a lot of FUN.
5/5

I enjoyed every bit of safari with Nyasi Adventure. The communication while choosing between offers was on the highest professional level. Robert runs a business amazingly, he tried and did all to provide what we needed and what was the best for our safari experience. The safari itself was a great experience. Although short (2 days) but very satisfying and fulfilling. We saw all animals we could, had an amazing food and great hotel. I highly recommend safari with Nyasi. If I come back to Tanzania one day I will definitely do longer safari with Nyasi.

Fantastic safari operator, great communication, helpful with planning
5/5

I have only fantastic things to say about Nyasi Adventure! While planning our trip, we were overwhelmed with all of the options (where to visit, how long to stay, getting around inside the country), and the guys at Nyasi helped us out with everything before we even got there. They planned our flights inside, they gave us honest opinions on where we should go based on the time we had and what we wanted to see, booked our lodging, and took away the guesswork of planning. Specifically, we emailed them (and several other operators) about going to the Serengeti, and while the other operators said "sounds good, here's the price", Nyasi asked why we wanted to go to the Serengeti, then said they could make that happen, but also gave us other options that fit what we were looking for that better matched our timeline. They were quick to respond to our (tons of) emails, and overall very easy to work with. They let us make the decisions we cared about, and handled the rest perfectly.

When we actually got there, they were wonderful - every suggestion they had made for our trip was perfect. The communication between everyone was great too - we had indicated over email we wanted to see elephants, and our guides were made aware of that and made sure to spend some extra time when we came across some. I can't imagine a better safari experience, we saw everything I was hoping to see - elephants, lions, giraffes, hippos, even a blank rhino. Our guides were funny, courteous, and super helpful - I had a mobility issue on the trip that made getting around a little more difficult than normal, but it wasn't an issue at all. When we finished our tours for the day, we discussed what we were thinking for the next day, so we could change plans based on how we were feeling and what we wanted to see.

When we finished our safari we did hang around in Tanzania a bit more, but when we were concerned about having too much time at the airport before flying home, Nyasi set up a hotel for us, and even picked us up from the airport to take us to the hotel for our layover. We actually arrived an hour early, and thought we were going to have to wait for our ride, but he knew someone at the airport who called when we landed early, and we waited a total of 5 minutes. This is way above and beyond what I expected from a safari company, but it took all the stress out of our trip. In addition to the fantastic experience we had with them, it was nice to support a small business that was started and owned by locals. We've already started talking about our next vacation here, hoping to bring some friends and family, and will definitely book with Nyasi again!

Splendid Safari - Tarangire/Ngorongoro
5/5

The team at Nyasi Adventure provided gave us a safari trip to remember! Being an operator made of local guides, Robert and his team arranged the perfect itinerary based on the length of our stay and our safari goals. We trusted their judgment and recommendations and we are so glad we did because the trip exceeded our already grand expectations. The safari jeep was incredibly comfortable and the accommodations they picked for us was world class. Davis (our driver/guide) ensured our safety throughout our journey and did an incredible job getting us in perfect positions to see the unforgettable African wildlife. We have recommended Nyasi Adventure to all of our family and friends and are already looking forward to going back for another visit with them. Thank you, Nyasi!

A magnificent safari in the Ngorongoro crater
5/5

Many thanks to Robert for organizing our African adventure. The children were delighted with the trip.
Special thanks to our guide to driver Davis. Two days of accompanying us and solving all the problems. One of them, for example, was a bridge washed away at night to Arusha airport. We were able to fully appreciate the skill of Davis and the willingness of his jeep to solve our problem :) - the crossing of the river. Thanks guys!

Excellent trip safari with Robert and Gaston
5/5

We did a safari with Robert and Gaston, they arrived on time, we even got a call in our hotel room to confirm the time he was planning on picking us up.
We drove 6 hours in a comfortable 4x4, they planned a car seat for my son of 2 years and half, he slept like a baby.

1st day: lunch in a restaurant overlooking the park, we could eat watching buffaloes, impalas and wildebeest then sunny safari ...
Robert and Gaston explained to us how animals lived.

they are very kind and available

I recommend Nyasi Adventure and I thank them
