Every went so smoothly and the accommodations chosen were perfect for us!
Even with the time difference (I'm from the USA) Heidi responded in a timely manner to all of our emails. Each accommodation Heidi chose for us blew our mind in how great the service was, not to mention beautiful! We had many transfers for all of the difference locations we visited, everything went to smoothly and was right on time. I cannot say enough good things about Heidi and this booking company. Would definitely use them again and recommend to friends.

Perfection
If you are planning a trip to Africa, please don't hesitate to book with Tammy at Pembury Tours, South Africa. My husband and I normally plan all our trips online, but hesitated with Africa. I tried a couple of Tour groups in Australia, but found response too slow and uninformative. I decided to try Tammy and I am so glad I did! She responded to my emails with information required immediately.We wanted 5 Star all the way and Tammy helped make it happen. All transfers were on time and NOTHING went wrong for the entire trip. We traveled to Cape Town, Franschhoek, Sabi Sands,on Rovos Rail from Pretoria to Victoria Falls, and then a couple of nights on Chobe River (Zambezi Queen) We would love to return, but if not,we will have very special memories of Africa, and part of that is thanks to Tammy at Pembury Tours.!

Gail went over and beyond our expectations.
Her communications were excellent. Everyone of her intermediaries (transfers and guides) were on time, helpful, and professional. All of our accommodations were outstanding. All of the side excursions were excellent. She went beyond excellent when she found my wife's cell phone which had been left at the hotel in Johannesburg and reunited her with it when we arrived to catch our US-bound international flight. If I could rate her a 6 on a scale of 5, I would do so. We have no experience with any other South Africa-based tour operator, but I doubt that we could have found any that could beat Gail and Pembury Tours.

Magnificent service, great planning and execution
It was our 1st time to visit Africa. We chose Pembury Tours and picked Anya as my agent after reading many good reviews. She worked diligently and tirelessly with me to finalize the itinerary after many back and forth emails. She responded promptly each time. She was flexible and provided good advice and exceptional service. Later, eight of my friends decided to join our exciting itinerary, Anya worked tirelessly with everyone to make our trip successful. Wonderful South African experiences.
Our family just returned from a spectacular set of South African experiences, all superbly organized, implemented, and managed by Melanie Macphail of Pembury Tours We first learned about Pembury Tours from their excellent reviews on the Safari Bookings website. Working around some of our unique family health concerns and schedule constraints, Melanie listened intently and crafted the perfect trip that met all of our stringent criteria – with a grace and understanding that may qualify her for sainthood. Our adventure began in Cape Town, followed by the Idube Game Lodge in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, then an overnight in Port Elizabeth (where we were privileged to actually meet Melanie), then on to the Pumba Private Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape, and finally a wonderfully educational visit to Johannesburg. That Melanie was able to arrange such a varied and inspiring itinerary, exceeding the expectations of our three-generation family, speaks both to her particular expertise and to the depth of the entire Pembury organization. I would highly recommend Pembury Tours to anyone contemplating vastly more than a cookie-cutter African experience.

Personalised and Knowledgeable
Just back from a 12 day/ 4 location trip to Botswana. Tammy listened to what we wanted and provided good options and advice. It was very easy to arrange everything by email from Australia and she was quick to reply to our questions. The trip was completely tailored to us and the four locations we well chosen to provide a different environment and opportunities. Ghoha Hills was a highlight but it was all good. Would recommend highly.
