Pembury Tours provided a well planned trip for our group of four.

The Best Travel Agent ever for a Trip of a lifetime!
We found Heidi online from all the great reviews. Indeed, Heidi at Pembury Tour was efficient, responsive, honest and priced fairly. We arrived Cape Town with a welcome package detailing the tours, the flights, the pick up times, maps, even a glossary of the animals that we would see!
We did a private tour for our family of six. We started off with 5 nights in Cape Town, staying at the beautiful Table Bay Hotel. Heidi arranged for private tours for us (wine tour, city tour, Whale watching etc). We then flew to Kruger National Park, staying at 2 different lodges (Naledi and Arathusa- both excellent) for different safari experiences (seeing different animals with different landscapes). We then flew to Victoria Falls for 3 more nights. We did an amazing dinner cruise on the Zambezi River, walked the trail along the Falls and crossed the border for a day tour at Chobe National Park.
Heidi arranged the tours, the domestic flights, the hotels and all the very prompt transfers. Everything was meticulous. We would highly recommend Heidi and Pembury Tour!

This was a trip of a 60+ year lifetime
Communication and service were excellent. This was a custom tour that flowed like clockwork, with every pick up and driver being on time or early and promptly delivering us to our next site. The guides on the game drives were superb, both in their ability to spot game and in their knowledge about all different kinds of wildlife and birds. It far exceeded our highest expectations.

Amazing Once In A Lifetime Experience!! Thank you Kerry!!!!
We started planning our trip over a year ago with Kerry at Pembury Tours. Not knowing all of what we wanted to see and do she asked questions and guided us through the process of planning our trip. I felt like I was asking so many questions but Kerry kept answering them in a timely manner and the 16 day trip was finally planned. Kerry was spot on with our whole trip!!! Our trip started in Cape Town then Sabi Sand Game Reserve, Hazyview, Livingstone, Zambia and finally Chobe Game Reserve. We did not stop with our daily agenda of all our places we wanted to visit and activities we had sign up for. At the Sabi Sand Game Reserve we saw the big 5 in two game rides and the amazing 7 in three game rides. At Chobe Game Reserve we had 7 elephants drinking from our pool outside our room!!!
The transfers and guides that were assigned to us were exceptional and on time. The whole trip worked like clockwork even the flights we had to take to move around to our destinations in Africa. If something had of went wrong Kerry was right there to fix the problem by email or phone.
I would recommend Kerry and Pembury Tours. I am so happy a friend had referred me.

What can I say about Africa? What a vastly beautiful and amazing continent, with soooo many wonderful sights and beautiful people. Wanda and I would like to Thank You Anya for taking the time to create the BEST trip we have ever taken. Anya was accessible throughout the whole trip from the beginning to end. She never failed to get back to us. All aspects of the trip were perfectly planned. We never felt alone or lost during our 28 day trip. We had a total of 3 safaris planned. Each was unique and different in its own special way. We loved the guides, the food, the scenery. Anya perfectly broke up the trip with local venues and exotic getaways. Excellent tour operator
We worked with Tammy of Pembury Tours to plan our trip to South Africa. When we first contacted Tammy, she asked a few questions to get an idea of the type of vacation we were looking for. She understood what we wanted immediately and met all expectations. The itinerary was perfectly planned and the materials provided to us on our arrival in South Africa were clear and easy to use. Tammy's arrangements of transfers and travel within South Africa went off without a hitch. Tammy's choice of hotels and activities were flawless with a special shout out to the Winchester Manners (in Cape Town) and the Idube Lodge in Sabi Sands. Tammy helped us plan the trip of a lifetime!
I had an absolutely fantastic experience planning my recent safari with Tammy from Pembury Tours. Early in my vacation planning, I submitted multiple inquiries on safaribookings.com. Of the many travel consultants who responded, Tammy was by far the most helpful, prompt, and thorough. She is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. At the time, I had never visited Africa or gone on safari, and wasn't entirely sure what country or region I wanted to visit. Tammy asked all the right questions and answered my endless queries in order to help my partner and I pick the perfect itinerary for us.
We booked 5 nights of safari, split between Thanda and Phinda game reserves in South Africa. We absolutely loved both reserves, which are near each other but offer very different guest experiences. Tammy even secured us an upgrade from the tented camp to the lodge at Thanda, and our accommodations were jaw-droppingly fabulous. What's more is that she saved us a substantial amount of money - the safari was significantly cheaper than it would have been to book directly, even not counting the extra value of the upgrade. She arranged our flights and transfers, which all worked seamlessly.
I'll end with a small example of how Tammy went above and beyond: We only used Pembury for the safari portion of our longer vacation, opting to stay in AirBnBs and travel more independently for the rest. Learning this, Tammy volunteered to take a look at the different AirBnBs I was considering in Cape Town in order to ensure that we were staying in a good, safe location. Her help allowed us to feel confident in even the parts of the trip that we didn't book through Pembury!
All in all, I highly recommend Tammy and Pembury. I hope to return to Africa with them soon!

Laurette took great care of us every step of the way, from initial contact, through planning, itinerary changes, special needs, and on through our amazing trip. Namibia + Cape Town in November 2018
Anya Visser, of Pembury Tours, organized our trip to Namibia and to Cape Town, which was our first visit to Southern Africa. The result is that our trip was absolutely flawless and a full success.
We stayed in three different lodges in Namibia, moved from one to the other by private plane and were met in Cape Town and in Windhoek.
Every element of our trip was professionnally planned and executed, on time and most courteously by every provider chosen by Anya.
Moreover, Anya always responded immediately and positively to my numerous requests for information or for slight modifications of our initial program.
I therefore cannot underline enough Anya's professionalism and kindness, as well as her permanent availability of which I availed myself on several occasions.
I have already forwarded Anya's contact details to friends who requested them from me and I can only recommend Anya to anyone wishing to fulfil their dream of visiting Namibia and the Cape Town area, as was my case, in the best possible conditions.
