A fantastic and unforgettable experience!!
It was our first time in South Africa. From the first contact with Pembury Tours, where our agent was Heidi, everything was very clear and efficient. All meetings with guides and tranfers took place punctually on time and they were all very friendly and taught us a lot about the history and culture of South Africa. The quality of the vehicles were excellent and the guides drove us in a very safe way. We stayed in four different accommodations and all were of an incredible care with cleanliness and friendliness. During safaris, we had a chance to see up close all the animals we would have liked to see (the big 5) and more. In summary, a perfect experience. Thanks to everyone involved in this incredible experience.

Unforgettable Vacation
What more can I say but thank you, thank you, thank you.......we had the most memorable trip to South Africa with our friends from Texas. This trip would not have been possible had it not been for Heidi Bedford who worked tirelessly at putting together an incredible itinerary for us. Heidi was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns and was contactable at the drop of a hat during our visit to South Africa, always having our best interest at heart. The welcome bags and comprehensive itineraries were phenomenal with loads of additional information on the areas and sites we would be visiting or attractions we would be seeing, these made for good keep sakes. Our friends from Houston Texas were in awe of all the beauty this country has and absolutely loved being on Safari. From the beauty of Cape Town to the untouched nature of the wild and seeing the big 5 and so much more, was wonderful. We were spoilt with all the awesome sightings of theses incredible animals in their natural habitat. The whole trip was planned to perfection with just the right amount of everything. All the tour guides did a fantastic job and everyone was impressed with their knowledge and friendliness and their efforts to go above and beyond to make our experience a lasting one.

Gail listened to our wishes and used her knowledge and skills to more than exceed our safari expectations. Also our questions were always answered promptly and very clearly. From the moment we touched down in Johannesburg we were immediately looked after and guided through the airport to begin our adventure in the most relaxed way. Put that together with an excellent choice of lodges, brilliantly knowledgeable nature guides, super friendly staff and excellent food and drinks we had an incredible time on safari. Oh yes, we also saw lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos and white rhinos as well as an amazing number of other animals and birds! Would we do it again? Definitely! We are already planning with the most excellent Gail from Pembury Tours for next year!

We "faced time"with her so she could hear our requests and any questions we had. When my partner and I arrived in South Africa we were immediately greeted by the transfer driver. We didn't have to do a single thing! I felt like we were being taken care of everywhere we went. Anya gave us some options for hotels. The Naledi Bushcamp for our portion of the actual safari was ...breathtaking! We continued on to Zambia and Zimbabwe to see Victoria Falla and we ended up our trip in Cape Town. Anya...thank you for your dedication, professionalism and attention to detail. You created a once in a lifetime trip that we will never forget! Fly in safari camps in Kruger and Botswana
Tammy at Pembury Tours did a suburb job making our arrangements at 4 different and diverse safari resorts, with a day at Victoria Falls. Her work exceeded our expectationd, especially since we were unfamiliar with all of the locations. Her work included transfers, housing, game drives and negotiating best prices for us. We were a party of three and were able to see the Big Five as well as a multitude of birds and other animals.
Tam,my must have written over 50 e-mails to me during the preparation and arrangements on everythign from weight of baggage to what color clothing to wear. She had infinite patience and attentiuon to detail. Since I am a tour operation/travel agent myself, I am well aware of how much work is involved.

Amazing Safari tour through Greater Kruger National Park
Pembury Tours organised the most wonderful holiday for us. We had a fantastic experience and enjoyed every moment.
All the lodges we stayed at and the individual park we visited were very different but all were wonderful. The people we met were kind, knowledgeable and passionate about everything that they did. South Africa is a brilliant safari destination with consistently great sightings. We did 22 game drives and 4 bush walks and all were different and exciting experiences. Everything was organised perfectly and ran very smoothly.

Planning and execution with the best level
Heidi helped us with a 14 day luxury tour and we were absolutely happy with her recommendations and also the very fast response time and friendlynes.
The plan was adapted to our needs and budget and since we landed we got amazing experience.
Highlight was: Nottens Bushcamp and Ilala lodge.
The private guide in Cape Town was also very friendly and very well prepared.

Exceptional planning - flawless execution!
Anya at Pembury planned our April 2019 trip nine months in advance providing many options and variations. The trip was unforgetable. Every step of the way was planned to the nth degree leading to seamless execution at each stage. Accommodation, car rental, tour guides, golf booking and last minute adjustments were laid out in detail. On arrival at each stop, the accommodations were fantastic, the reception by everyone meeting us friendly, courteous and beyond helpful! Last minute adjustments were taken care of without stress or any hick-ups. And the things we saw, the places we went and the experiences we had made for the trip of a lifetime. Kudos to Damen at Phinda Game Preserve and Gramwell our tour guide around Cape Town who Pembury set us up with and who went out of their way to make the experiences with them particularly unforgetable. Personalized, excellent, knowledgeable
Anya Visser planned an unforgettable 2.5 week trip for our first time visit to South Africa. Her knowledge and choices were exactly to our liking. We spent three nights at Phinda Forest Lodge and had amazing encounters with cheetah, lions, rhino, elephant, hippo's, monkeys, giraffe, zebra and many more on our safari drives.....thanks to our wonderful guides , Damen and Musi. Our drive on the Garden Route offered spectacular scenery and tours of the Cape Winelands and Cape Town were exceptional with Granwell of Paradise tours as our guide. Exceptional experiences in South Africa thanks to Anya Visser and Pembury Tours
My wife, another couple and I recently returned from 2 1/2 weeks of exceptional experiences in South Africa. Our itinerary was developed and arranged by Anya Visser of Pembury Tours. Her insights and attention to detail provided us with experiences we would have missed if we arranged the trip on our own. In addition, during our trip Anya was always available to make changes when necessary. Our trip included Phinda Forest Lodge on the Phinda Private Game Reserve, driving along the Garden Route with several days at the Fancourt Hotel in George, visits to wineries in the Stellenbosch area with several days at the Avondrood Guest House in Franschhoek, and exploring the beautiful Cape Town area while staying at the Queen Victoria Hotel. The setting and service at each of these locations was superb. Most importantly, the people we met in South Africa were friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend a visit to South Africa with Anya Visser's assistance.
