Perfectly tailored and responsive assistance
My husband and I got in touch with Tammy at Pembury Tours as we were searching for a safari lodge to book as part of our honeymoon. Tammy was so helpful in providing knowledgeable recommendations and then helping us to narrow down our search based on the key things that we were looking for on our trip. Once we were happy with the beautiful itinerary that she sent, the booking process was simple and straightforward, and Tammy was in touch to let us know that everything was confirmed. I thought it was really nice that she even recommended to help with suggestions for other parts of our trip that we didn't book through Pembury, and she always gave her mobile number which made us feel like if anything went wrong she'd be just a phone call away.
Our safari was with Lion Sands and we stayed at Tinga Lodge. The lodge is beautiful and the service was great. The game viewing was amazing, and we saw the Big Five in the first 24 hours of our arrival in the bush.
Perfect trip! Beyond expectations and on budget!
So glad that I found Pembury Tours on Safari Bookings. Planning a trip to South Africa was a bit overwhelming until I contacted Pembury. They responded to my inquiry in minutes, and it was on a weekend evening! I was paired with Anya Visser from Pembury who worked with me (over both Skype and email!) over a couple of weeks to schedule the perfect trip for two friends celebrating a 30th birthday. I realized my time frame was a bit short since I started planning this trip just two months prior to departure, but Anya handled it beautifully. She was careful to stay within our moderate budget and made sure to still include all of our "must-see" activities in Capetown, Greater Kruger, and Victoria Falls.
From the moment we arrived at our first stop in Capetown, I knew this trip was going to be an incredible experience. All of the partner companies that Pembury scheduled us with were top notch. We were able to do a private tour to the Cape Peninsula, private Winelands tour, and a hike up Table Mountain. Though my friend and I are both well-seasoned travelers, it was so nice to be so well taken care of on this trip. Every pickup and dropoff was already arranged. The only thing we had to schedule on our own was dinner (for which Anya also provided great recommendations!) For the Kruger portion of our trip, we were booked at Naledi Bush Lodge. I have to say, this was the highlight of our trip! Everything about that place was outstanding. Following our stay in Kruger area, Anya recommended the Panorama route to get us closer to the airport. The scenery was breathtaking. What could have been a dull day in the car for several hours turned out to be an incredible tour through the Drakensberg Mountains. Our final stop was Victoria Falls. Our hotel (The Kingdom) was incredibly convenient to the Falls, and once again, everything worked out perfectly. Our trip was capped off with a boat cruise of the Zambezi River with a surprise upgrade!
I cannot thank Anya and Pembury Tours enough for a great vacation! I will most definitely contact Pembury again for future trips in Southern Africa!

Impressive World-Class Tour Company
Pembury Tours made my lifelong safari dream come true. My immense gratitude to Kerry who went above and beyond while organizing a customized tour to Sabi Sands (Kruger). Her knowledge of the different game reserves and enthusiasm was remarkable. All communication was done by email only and could not have been more efficient. Being a woman travelling solo to Africa for the first time, I needed to feel secure with the company's professionalism.
The three places I stayed in, which Kerry recommended, were absolutely sensational and the staff knew of my specific needs and requests in advance. All transfers were of the highest quality; the drivers being punctual, professional and friendly. I always felt safe.
Kerry also informed me of a special rate on offer at one of the camps and booked internal flights. She informed me of baggage allowance with the different flights and airports so I could choose my preferred option.
Being on safari in Sabi Sands truly surpassed my wildest dreams! I was able to get many fascinating photos with my new camera too. I would certainly say it was my most memorable trip to date. I plan to go back to Africa and will certainly be using Pembury Tours again. I am very happy to give my highest recommendation of the company to anyone interested.

A Fantastic Trip
We have just returned back from our 14 day trip to Victoria Falls, Kruger and CapeTown. Each place was a different experience ranging from the spectacular water falls to the fantastic safaris to the beautiful city and oceans. We couldnt have asked to squeeze more into one holiday. The entire trip was very efficiently organised by Pembury Tours and everything worked clock work from the time we arrived till we left .Special thanks goes out to Heidi who was extremely patient in getting it all together . Very prompt with her replies and adding great value to everything. We would love to be back and would happily use Pembury again and also recommend to our friends and family.

Amazing experience and a pleasure to work with!
Working with Heidi at Pembury was a real pleasure. We had a lot of back and forth over email while trying to put together a stay in Kruger in South Africa, and she was always prompt in reply and clear in communication, which made me feel at ease while trying to book this trip from a different time zone and country. I don't think I was the easiest client, but she was always professional and definitely made me feel accommodated and taken care of.
We stayed at the breathtaking Ulusaba lodge in Sabi Sands, and she found the best prices I could find anywhere. Transportation to and from the lodge was seamless and professional, even after I had to make some last minute changes due to a tight itinerary.
If we ever do make another trip to South Africa, I will be going straight to Heidi, she was great to work with and I'll be recommending her to everyone else looking to plan a safari as well.

From our initial internet enquiry with Pembury tours the service provided by Laurette has been exceptional. Her knowledge and enthusiasm was outstanding and all our queries and correspondence were answered very promptly by email. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Our whole trip from Victoria Falls to Capetown was faultless and our safari experience staying at Nottens in Sabi Sands far outweighed our expectations. If only I could give you 6 stars for Exceptional!
Our trip to South Africa and Zimbabwe was in the works for over a year. We had big expectations. You can only hope that all will go well and that your itinerary fulfills your expectations. Kerry did an amazing job working with our group to put together a 15 day itinerary that was jam-packed with excitement in Victoria Falls, fabulous lodgings throughout the trip (especially Nottens Bush Camp), terrific safaris, great guides in the Cape and a pleasant chill-out in the winelands. Every transfer was seamless. Every guide was professional, knowledgeable, accommodating and energetic. I'm gushing, but this was the trip of a lifetime and it completely exceeded our expectations. Anya Visser is the BEST! She made our trip amazing and special.
During my entire life I never need a tour company. But, I tried to DIY my safari and found it impossible due to the complexity. Surfing the web I found Pembury Tours. And, I started a "conversation" with Anya about what we wanted. She made a proposal. We requested a few changes. Anya listened, and considered what we wanted, and made a second proposal. On paper it looked great.
Then, once the safari started (we went to three lodges) Anya's plan exceeded all my expectations. Drivers were where they were should have been. The lodges were great. All the logistics went off flawlessly. We had absolutely nothing to worry about but having fun.
Stop reading and book with Pembury! They were fantastic in every way!

The communication from the start was great, with a lovely lady called Kerry. We emailed back and forth for over a year while she planned our safari. Kerry followed up on all my queries and provided fantastic service.
When I had an enquiry about the booking she would respond quickly and no longer than within 12-24 hours.
I was very impressed with how seamlessly we were able to travel and could rely on someone to always be there to pick us up and help through every process. All the accommodations exceeded our expectations and the sights we saw were amazing!

An absolute trip of a lifetime! Thanks Kerry!
It had been a dream of mine for years to do an African safari. Our trip did one better by adding Victoria Falls, Cape Town and Franschhoek. Kerry put the perfect together for our group of 4 (2 couples). We had the excitement of Vic Falls with the microflight and swim at Livingstone Island to the exhilaration of hiking up Table Mountain to the absolute joy of safari. (Special highlight here was Notten’s Bush Camp – try to go there at all costs!) To end this trip perfectly we had 3 lovely days in wine country. All transfers went off without a hitch. All guides were tremendous. The accommodations were terrific and the experience was seamless.
I had such high expectations for this trip and they were exceeded. I have traveled extensively and this trip stands at the top alone. Thanks so much Kerry for your diligence, patience and expertise putting together and executing my trip of a lifetime!
