Magnificent service, great planning and execution
It was our 1st time to visit Africa. We chose Pembury Tours and picked Anya as my agent after reading many good reviews. She worked diligently and tirelessly with me to finalize the itinerary after many back and forth emails. She responded promptly each time. She was flexible and provided good advice and exceptional service. Later, eight of my friends decided to join our exciting itinerary, Anya worked tirelessly with everyone to make our trip successful. Once in Africa, Anya stayed in touch for the entire trip, insuring all accomodations and transfers were successful. Her choice of hotels and lodges, and other vendors, were first rate. Gail went over and beyond our expectations.
Her communications were excellent. Everyone of her intermediaries (transfers and guides) were on time, helpful, and professional. All of our accommodations were outstanding. All of the side excursions were excellent. She went beyond excellent when she found my wife's cell phone which had been left at the hotel in Johannesburg and reunited her with it when we arrived to catch our US-bound international flight. If I could rate her a 6 on a scale of 5, I would do so. We have no experience with any other South Africa-based tour operator, but I doubt that we could have found any that could beat Gail and Pembury Tours.

I had really high expectations for this trip. Pembury Tours and our travel consultant Anya made it all happen. The communication, information, and guidance in planning the perfect trip was outstanding. They responded quickly and expertly to every question or request we had before, during and after the trip. We visited South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe over two weeks. Every detail was thought out by Anya, and it all went smoothly and perfectly. I would not use anyone else to plan my next trip to Southern Africa. i recommend them unquestionably. Perfection
If you are planning a trip to Africa, please don't hesitate to book with Tammy at Pembury Tours, South Africa. My husband and I normally plan all our trips online, but hesitated with Africa. I tried a couple of Tour groups in Australia, but found response too slow and uninformative. I decided to try Tammy and I am so glad I did! She responded to my emails with information required immediately.We wanted 5 Star all the way and Tammy helped make it happen. All transfers were on time and NOTHING went wrong for the entire trip. We traveled to Cape Town, Franschhoek, Sabi Sands,on Rovos Rail from Pretoria to Victoria Falls, and then a couple of nights on Chobe River (Zambezi Queen) We would love to return, but if not,we will have very special memories of Africa, and part of that is thanks to Tammy at Pembury Tours.!

Every went so smoothly and the accommodations chosen were perfect for us!
Even with the time difference (I'm from the USA) Heidi responded in a timely manner to all of our emails. Each accommodation Heidi chose for us blew our mind in how great the service was, not to mention beautiful! We had many transfers for all of the difference locations we visited, everything went to smoothly and was right on time. I cannot say enough good things about Heidi and this booking company. Tammy at Pembury arranged our flights and activities at Victoria Falls, including a game drive. It was excellent. Went to Stanley Livingstone National Park and were so close to the animals that it felt you could reach out and touch them. Exciting.

Absolutely Amazing!
I booked this trip through Pembury Tours working with Tammy Harding - what an amazing travel agent! She was recommended to me by a friend who had booked his trip with her and he was thoroughly impressed. I had the same experience! She got everything organized for me - flights, lodge, type of room and, activities; she responded to emails within a day and was quick to take action when required. The lodge, Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, provided a room with a view of the watering hole, it was clean and well equipped; the service was excellent as was the food. The Sunset Cruise was relaxing, provided great views and the boat would come close to land so we could see the animals. The guided tour of Victoria Falls was excellent with a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. The game drive safari experience was exciting..the driver didn't just stay on the main trail but went off-road so we could see the animals up close - a longer arm would have enabled me to touch some of them. I really enjoyed my time in Zimbabwe, Victoria Falls.
