Fantastic Holiday in South Africa with Kerry at Pembury Tours
We have just returned from a 4 week holiday in South Africa and Victoria Falls with superb assistance from Kerry Ririe at Pembury Tours.
Kerry gave so much time to all our queries and requests and always came back to us very promptly and was so patient with us. All the bookings and arrangements she made on our behalf were faultless and it is especially pleasing and reassuring that all the transfer drivers were always there in plenty of time and couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. She provided so much invaluable information through an online portal as well as in hard copy on arrival.
We were really grateful for the advice she gave which made the planning so much easier and prevented us from making some illogical decisions and mistakes.
It was simply an unforgettable holiday and the memories we have together with the hundreds of photographs will allow us to remember it all.
Our very grateful thanks to Kerry and she is a travel consultant that we will certainly be in contact with whenever we return to Africa and have full confidence in recommending to anyone interested in travelling to these wonderful countries.

Right from the start she was invested in giving us the best possible experience in South Africa. Nothing was too much trouble and communication was excellent throughout.
We took two granddaughters on safari at Lalibela, all organised by Kerry, along with airport meet and greet, stopover in Port Elizabeth and the most amazing info packs for the girls and us.

Heidi was extremely communicative, helpful, and accommodating, creating a perfect honeymoon for us.
We've never worked with a travel agent before booking through Pembury Tours and didn't know what to expect. After getting back from our trip though, we can confidently say that we loved every minute. Heidi was so communicative with us. There was a 9 hour time difference, but her responses were immediate, either coming back to us within a few hours or the next immediate business day. She answered all questions that we had and accommodated all of our requests by doing her own research on her end and coming back to us with various options that met our needs. She provided tons of helpful information once we landed and all bookings, activities, etc. went according to plan. All of our accommodations were in great locations as well, allowing us to do just about everything that the area had to offer. Communications, value for money, reliability were all 10/10 and we couldn't recommend using them enough.

Amazing!
Tammy Harding is AMAZING! She booked our group of 4 from the USA to Cape Town, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia, Sabi Sands and Johannesburg. The trip was absolutely amazing! The entire trip was PERFECT. We had no issues whatsoever. She had everything so well organized and was very informative throughout the booking. We had many questions as 3 of us had never been to Africa and she was so patient and kind and answered every question. She is very knowledgeable in what she does. Pembury Tours is the absolute best!
We booked a two week tour through southern Africa including Cape Town, safari lodges in South Africa, Victoria Falls and Chobe National park in Botswana. We have traveled a lot in the past but this trip was incredible and the trip of a lifetime! Heidi at Pembury was extremely helpful in planning the trip, gave great advice and suggestions and was extremely responsive throughout the planning stages as well as during the trip. Amazing Trip to Southern Africa
Heidi at Pembury was terrific to work with. I booked a Travelzoo special at a safari camp in Botswana as my anchor for the trip. I then reached out to Pembury to plan the rest of the trip including stops in Cape Town, Chobe National Park, and Victoria Falls. Heidi did an amazing job understanding what we wanted and created a special itinerary for us. I proposed to my girlfriend during the trip, and Heidi helped organize the best place to do it, got me in contact with the tour guide for planning, and also had special celebrations arranged at each stop on our trip. It was a truly memorable vacation and Pembury was a very reliable partner. I would rate the trip 5 stars and recommend their services to everyone planning a holiday in Africa! The transfers were all on time, the hotel rooms were top notch, and the operators were very friendly. Thank you again Heidi!!

Kerry at Pembury took amazing care of us in curating a 30 day trip of a lifetime!
My wife and I are extensive travelers but this was our first experience requiring an agent to assist us and it was the best decision ever! Kerry took great care to help us create a tour of a lifetime. She helped us plan out an extended trip that covered Southern and Eastern Africa. The properties and operators she chose for us were excellent and very professional. At all times Kerry was in contact with us and responded very quickly to any questions or needs we had. Incredable Once in a Lifetime Trip - Thanks Pembury!
I can’t say enough good things about Pembury overall, and the personalized elite service provided by Heidi (our contact person).
Pembury’s website provided excellent detail and usability. I was able to come up with a tentative plan just based on the extensive information available.
The prices they were able to quote were below every other safari booking service that I checked with, and therefore, I can’t imagine a better value!
We explained to Heidi upfront that we had a unique opportunity that included a month of holiday time, and consequently, we wanted to take a once-in-a-lifetime trip to South Africa. Heidi provided us with several options, highlighted areas that she felt couldn’t be skipped, and outlined trade-offs when it came to other experiences. She was great about asking for preferences, and trying to figure out exactly where we felt it was worth paying a little more for something that would make a huge difference for us personally vs a luxury we didn’t think we needed.
All of that said, the biggest reason to go with Pembury is the exceptional level of personalized service. The email response time on Heidi’s part was excellent throughout the onboarding and payment process, and was top notch throughout our trip. She was able to aggregate information from other Pembury customers and get up-to-the-day feedback that she could use to adapt our itinerary if we were so inclined. Consequently, we weren’t stuck reading reviews from 3+ years ago, and left with subpar decisions as circumstances changed on the ground.
Every single one of the activities and accommodations provided by Heidi more than lived up to their billing and we couldn’t be happier with our choice of Pembury to plan our holiday!
