Excellent 3 Day Masai Mara Safari
ACZ was a wonderful group to work with. John Murage was extremely helpful in coordinating and accommodating our needs and questions months in advance. Very quick responses via email made us feel confident that we would be well taken care of and we were. Our guide Evans was so awesome! He was so knowledgeable and was able to get us great views of amazing wildlife in the Mara. We stayed at the Rhino camp and had a great time meeting other travellers. We will definitely be using ACZ again. Thanks!

Best Safari tour with a even better Safari Guide/Driver!
My 3 girlfriends and I had a incredible safari with African Comfort Zones!!! Our driver Martin was a incredible guide and was knowledgable about the animals and reserves we visited. We even saw white and black rhinos! The food was great, our luxury tents also exceeded our expectations. Do try to pack lightly as your luggage goes wherever you go! A great experience! John helped us plan the perfect safari adventure! Thank you John and Martin!

Most Amazing Experience
I was a bit nervous for this trip, as I had never been to East Africa, and did not know what to expect.
John and Martin were the most amazing to work with!!!
I can not thank them enough for making this trip smooth and enjoyable.
John was very responsive and took care of any and all of our requests.
Martin was the BEST driver ever, we got to see all of the Big 5 and more.
I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in this wonderful experience.

Unbelievable.
We are with Engineers Without Borders at Montana State University. After our work in Khwisero we decided to treat ourselves to a safari. I booked the safari for three people eight months before hand, it was awesome how convenient this was. John Murage was so helpful throughout the whole process, just one week before our trip we were able to add three more of our friends at no cost. The logistics were on point and John was always prompt to answer our questions, sometimes within ten minutes! The safari itself was amazing. We stayed at Enchoro Camp which I would also highly recommend, great food and comfortable lodging, and all the monkeys were fun to watch. Peter was our driver and he was a wizard behind the wheel. He was so good at getting us the best view. Often times we got to places and animals before anyone else! We saw four of the big five. Just missed the leopard. But it's okay because the next morning we spent watching lions hunt and eat, crazy! Peter was also very knowledgeable about the park and the animals. Lunch was delicious and it was beautiful to eat under a massive lone tree. All in all these guys made this trip priceless, for us broke college students the price was definitely worth it! I would definitely return and book with these guys. Asante sana Peter and John!

Great experience, everything was as promised
Very accommodating team. My plans changed and with a days notice they were able to book me a tour. They picked me up where I was staying at even came to meet me the day before to explain the whole plan to me. I didn't have cash but they sorted out an online payment method.
It seemed that all the other safaris were very similar, so these guys give a pretty great price for what you get. They aren't the most eco friendly (but none of the other companies seemed any more eco)
On the whole, would certainly recommend.

Awesome awesome awesome Masai Mara tour!
I had 3 days tour in Masai Mara. John was helping me for booking and gave me answer for all my questions with quick response. Booking was easily done by online. I was joining the tour by myself and was worried little but I met great people in our tour. Our tour guide Martin was really knowledgeable and taught us a lot of things about all the animals we see in safari. He did his best to show us many things in safari! Me and all my group was all satisfied and had an amazing time. 3 days wasn't enough for me. I wish I had longer trip but still it was the best trip Ive ever had. I can't appreciate them enough. I'm so happy and I'm so glad that I chose to go with ACZ Safari. Thank you John and Martin!!!

Absolutely Amazing
There are no words to truly put to describe the experience Comfort Zone Safaris gave me. It was a childhood dream to visit Kenya and the Masai Mara. The game drives were amazing, the people friendly and experience unparalleled. John made my experience by taking care of me from the minute I landed in Nairobi to checking on me even now that I am back home in Canada months later. I was so pleased to use this local tour company to show and share with me the experiences of their country. My favourite part, which was tailored by John, was getting to meet and do a home stay with the Masai People (Alex) and hearing childhood stories of becoming a Masai Warrior and sharing a meal.
John you are amazing - I miss you and Alex

This was the best vacation I've ever taken; exceeding all my expectations.
This trip was easily booked online and via email. We chose from a variety of tour locations offered to determine the duration of our stay. We chose a six day tour with an added seventh day at a special location. The price was very affordable, and included everything: airport to airport transportation, all meals, all entry fees, all accommodations, and our private guide(s). I expected to see wildlife, but I was astonished at the variety and numbers of animals we saw.
We started our stay in Nairobi with pickup at the airport and a night in a very nice hostel with rooftop restaurant/bar. We met other travelers there: some coming and some leaving. In the morning we toured the national park outside Nairobi where we were treated to an elephant rescue orphanage, a giraffe sanctuary, and tour of Karen Blixen's estate. A thrilling first day.
The next morning we drove to the Masai Mara, a vast game preserve and tribal homeland. We stayed in a rustic camp in large tents. Not too rustic, as each tent has several beds and a private bathroom with hot showers. The electricity was limited to 5 hours per night. It is funny to watch the tourists scramble to recharge their mobile phones. Meals were served in the dining hall. One family we met opted to stay at a luxury resort/spa nearby because they had 3 and 5 year old children. So, the choice of accommodations is entirely up to you. We rather liked the tents. We spent two days here on photo safari all day. This was the most thrilling experience! Our guide, Martin, was expert at finding game. His skills seemed to surpass all the other guides, even though they all do cooperate when game is sighted. On this plain, the guides are free to drive into the bush to get close to the game, and Martin did. We saw most of the big game animals here, and very close up. No telephoto lenses needed here. I photographed elephants, Masai giraffes, lions, cheetah, leopards, pumba, hyena, dik dik, Thompson's gazelle, zebra, wildebeest, and more. We were so lucky that the great wildebeest migration from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara began two weeks early, so we were able to see the hordes of wildebeest and zebra moving across the landscape to cross the river into Kenya. It is one of the great wonders of the world.
The next day we headed for Lake Nakuru game park. There we saw the white rhino and Rothschild's giraffes. You will not believe how big they are up close. There was also great bird watching there, giant storks and cranes, and beautiful vistas. We stayed in a nice hotel in town for this leg of the trip. Then we were off to Amboseli Game Park in southeast Kenya. It was a long drive, but one of our group had requested it specially, so we went. It was well worth the trek, as it lies in the shadow of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Here we saw hippos up close, many very large elephants, zebra, and many more bird species. We stayed in a tent camp again in this park, also very nice tents with electricity and private baths. ACZ safaris brought along chef Frederick to cook for us, so we were really pampered by John and Martin from ACZ safaris. I can't express how much their presence enhanced our stay in Kenya. These guys are very nice people who go out of their way to make the trip spectacular. They are with us every step of the way, and they really know their stuff. They are great game guides, but also know the plants and birds and people. It really adds to the appreciation of all that Kenya has to offer.
On our last night, we travelled back to north central Kenya to stay at a luxury resort. Treetops is a famous British lodge next to a watering hole. Here we stayed in 4 star luxury where you can view game outside your bedroom window as the animals come to the watering hole to drink. If rustic safari is not to your taste, then treetops is for you. My friend woke me in the night to see a pair of black rhino come to drink. They came after the water buffalo and elephants had gone for the night. A pack of 5 hyena also came to drink. I hated to sleep for fear of missing something. As a bonus, on the way back to the airport, John and Martin took us to see Thompson falls. A beautiful waterfall where we were treated to tribal dancers and local shopkeepers.
If the idea of a safari appeals to you even a little, you must go. It will exceed all your expectations many times over. We are veteran travelers of many countries and many cruises, so when I say this was the trip of a lifetime, I mean it. The memories of the sights and the people will last all my life. I highly recommend ACZ safaris. These guys are tops in their field, and very nice people too.

Unforgettable experience!
These guys responded quickly to my questions via email and offered the perfect Safari for me at a great price. The driver and his colleagues were very resourceful and found plenty of animals at every game drive, we even saw a Leopard and a Cheetah in addition to the usual group of animals. Beginning of June was great because there were few tourists, although we missed the Wildebeest migration by a couple of weeks, but it was still worth it. What an unforgettable experience! Want to go back for more!
