World class tour operator! Sheilagh from Jamela Africa Safaris deserves six stars.
We were lucky to have Sheilagh from Jamela Africa Safaris help arrange our tour in South Africa and Zimbabwe.
The service from Sheilagh was outstanding. Sheilagh is really knowledgeable and had great recommendations for us in both South Africa and Zimbabwe, and everything from the hotels, activities, transfers etc. were well planned to fit our needs.
We could really feel Sheilagh´s passion for making the trip perfect for us! Nothing was too much trouble, and Sheilagh was always ready to help with any questions we had. We felt really safe with Sheilagh and the honesty and great advice were really appreciated.

Very flexible and friendly service
We went to the Victoria falls and Hwange national park. The service we received was A class all the way from puck up till we were dropped at the airport. The staff were polite. The accomodation was fantastic.
No complaints at all well done to the team and thanks for making it memorable.

Amazing experience
Trying to figure out what to do and where to go from halfway across the world was a daunting challenge and I am so grateful to Sheilagh at Jamela Afrcan Safaris for her help. She went above and beyond and made our stay at Nkhoro Bush Lodge one to last a lifetime...although I still hope to do it again! Won't plan another trip to South Africa without her help again though.

Wonderful holiday in Zimbabwe
Jamela Africa took care of everything. From booking our seats on the Blue Train to flying home via SAA. The attention to detail was faultless as well as . We were comforted by the knowledge that no matter where we were they were always reachable if a problem arose.
Sheilagh has a great understanding of the African bush (having grown up in Rhodesia) and her love of wildlife is evident in the lodges she booked for our stay. We were well taken care of each step of the way. All the lodges were excellent value with great game viewing opportunities. Transfers between venues were comfortable and reliable in spite of the fact some of the roads have not been well maintained in certain areas. I look forward to returning to Zimbabwe, Namibia and Botswana in the very near future.

Absolutely astounding trip to SA
We traveled in 2011 (all 10 of us) and had an absolute blast of a time in SA, everything was very well organised starting from our hotels to transport and touring days.
All our guides were on time and weather was as if it was pre-arranged. :)
Food, the sights and sounds were everything me and my group expected from Africa. Sheilagh, all our guides and hotel staff were the most polite, helpful and loving people. They were gracious to us everywhere that we went and helped with any extra's we needed organizing last minute.
In conclusion, South Africa has stolen our hearts. We loved the place, we loved the people, the spirit of South Africa, the wine, the food, and seeing the animals (3 of the Big5) was one of the highlights in our life. I think SA is a perfect family vacation as well as a great getaway for a honeymoon couple. Just make sure to make use of an agent. (doing so yourself online proves rather troublesome, especially when it comes to seeing things that not many see)

It was wonderful to travel with my sister, she planned everything & it all went so smoothly.
As Jamela Africa Safaris is very reliable, having travelled with them before on two separate holidays, I had no hesitation in just leaving everything in Sheilagh Dewil's hands as she knows what I appreciate and organises really well. A trip to Kruger National Park was the absolute highlight, Sheilagh knowing which camps to visit and which tours to use. I can highly recommend the services of Jamela Africa Safaris.

I'm 67 and my wife is 64. We had unique requirements for our Southern Africa trip in July 2011, that included an outstanding 8-day tour: “3 Country Wildlife Wave Safari”, including a Kruger National Park Safari, Mozambique, (Maputo plus a day on the beach), Hluhluwe National Park safari, a Lake St. Lucia boat safari and a day in Swaziland.) a self-tour of the Panorama area west of Kruger our requested train trip from Durban to Capetown via Johannesburg, Lethoso, and Capetown. Sheilagh enthusiastically worked tirelessly to coordinate all these items that perfectly suited our goals at an extremely affordable cost. We could not have organized this trip from home. That was the planning part. Where Sheilagh really demonstrated her value was when a freak snowstorm made travel to Lethoso impossible the day we planned. Sheilgah promptly provided several alternate options that included an unexpected cultural visit north of Durban. The alternate arrangements went perfectly.
