Perfect trip to Mikumi
Tanzania Explorer did an excellent job arranging a one-day safari in Mikumi for a group of 26 students from Denmark. The students definitely enjoyed the experience! The guides managed to find both lions, elephants, buffalos, hippos, giraffes etc. The vehicles were in a very good condition and the planning and communication with the manager ahead of the trip was very professional.

An amazing adventure with incredible service
Sondre, Sam, and the Tanzania Explorer team did an amazing job setting up a 2-day safari for our group of 6. Sondre was incredibly helpful as we explored different safari options, including length and parks to visit. Once we were on safari, Sam did a great job leading us through the parks and giving us more information on the wildlife. We felt comfortable, safe, and happy the entire time.

Simply Amazing!
My trip to Tanzania was simply amazing and beyond my expectations. Everything was perfect. The planning, the lodgings, the food, the beach and the game drives. Joshua, the safari guide, was very knowledgeable about animals. He was experienced in finding the animals and did his best to find the highly desired leopard.
I felt so safe and was well taken care of during the whole trip. To the extend, that I hardly didn't need to think. Loved it and will definitely be back!

Our contact person listened carefully to our wishes and we had a very good communication about the profile of our trip. The planning ensured that the trip fulfilled all our expectations. To be able to travel as a separate group together with friends was great and to have the same guides following us from our arrival at the airport to our departure made this into a very personalized trip. The chosen safari-lodges had an excellent standard and the national parks showed us all the animals we had dreamt about seeing. Zanzibar with its beautiful beaches and Stone Town was a great experience and especially the visit to a typical village south on the island

Unforgettable Experience. Perfect combo of Adventure and Relax.
Since the very beginning of the trip we didnt have to worry about anything. For 18 days our minds disconected completely of any kind of responsibility. This trip offered the perfect combination of adventure and relax.
Also, all of the staff was really friendly and took perfect care of us during our days in dar es salaam, zanzibar and the safari. We regret not having more holidays to do other activities.... but we will come back! :)

Perfect safari for a family
We had an excellent trip plannened by Tanzania Explorer. We are a family of five (children aged 10, 13, 17), and the safari was an amazing experience for all of us. Tanzania Explorer found the perfect place for us (Selous in July), we had an experienced guide on the safari, a nice lodge to stay in. It couldn't be more perfect. After the safari, we went to Zanizbar. It was all well planned and well taken care of by Tanzania Explorer. If you are planning on going to Tanzania for safari, we highly recommend Tanzania Explorer.

We went on a two week trip organized by Tanzania Explorer, one week on Kilimanjaro and one week safari in different parks. The trip was amazing and the staff in both Norway and Tanzania was friendly, enthusiastic and really profesional. We felt taken care of from the moment we got in contact with the company and all the way until we got home from the trip. It is also very comforting to know that the company visits/ tries every rout, hotel, park etc before recomending them for their customers. If you are considering going to Tanzania we would definitly recomend using Tanzania Explorer!

Group Travel with Tanzania Explorer a MUST!
Tanzania Explorer made our trip to Tanzania with 14 Swedish students (15-19y) an incredible experience! From pick-up at the airport with breakfast boxes, to customized and educational visits to local villages and their schools, to safaris, rainforests, cities and waterfalls the experiences that Tanzania Explorer has shown us will stay with us for life! As the Swedish supervisor of this trip I feel so comfortable knowing that Sondre and his team have the local connections and experiences to ensure that my group are always safe - and a relaxed teacher leads to relaxed students. The students have so many questions and the guides always have answers. TZ Explorer has a briefing every evening - making the next day the best, most exciting and different day of their lives. This is the second year that I travel to the Selous region with the students and this year was a different trip with more exposure to the stunning geographical diversity that is Tanzania. We saw arable plains, bustling local markets and Masai cowherds.This year we saw the rainforest of the Udzungwa Mountains with its lush vegetation, villages nestled into the hills and rich fertile red earth. We saw local schools and special needs schools. We saw the ocean and we saw the heavens from atop a peak in the Uluguru Mountains after a hike. What I am trying to say is that I, as the one ultimately responsible for 14 young Swedish people, feel entirely safe, confident and sure that my trip with Tanzania Explorer will be an adventure, will be safe and will be one that we will never forget.
