A fabulous holiday to remember
5/5

We had few queries for the date of booking the trip which I queried by phone and email, all we can say is that these were dealt with and answered immediately. we would definitely book with Dahlia tours & safaris again and again for our trip in Africa. This trip was from the very first day full on and every day packed with different experiences. We managed to fulfill two of my lifetime wishes which were to see Big 5 animals and hiking around Kilimanjaro National Park going to Natural beautiful waterfalls, Chagga tribe and war caves!! Also having big chance to swim in Hot spring near Kilimanjaro international Airport, first time on a trip like this which was made all the more enjoyable with having such a fantastic mixed group of Dahlia tours&safaris team, their driver guide Bryson and Kilimanjaro expert Rahm. Any trip is only as good as the guide and a special mention needs adding for Brian, their manager who did such a fantastic job of ensuring everyone, no matter how small or demanding of their request was looked after. I strongly recommend this professional tour company.

World Class tour operators
5/5

Our experience with Safaris to Tanzania with Dahlia Tours&Safaris was changed our life a lot, their Safari guides were easy to deal with, great communication and always able to answer our questions and offer advice. The Safari was our second in Tanzania but the hospitality and guidance from Dahlia Tours&Safaris was absolutely world Class, you will never know they operated from just last year unless they told you (very honestly).
We book with them very lately but we drop to Tanzania and amazed how everything was ready for us, from accommodation and transportation. Bryson, our driver and guide, and the company director, Brian, was amazing and truly local guides. They are full knowledge about safari and the local community as well, all the time they did their utmost best to make our trip enjoyable, delightful and exciting. We got to see almost everything we wanted, seen Big 5 was our life dream which come true. Our 6Days/5nights Safari was enjoyable I have ever experience.
Their Choice of accommodation for us was very amazing, we slept in tented camps in the Bush, with Lions roars so close during the night! The food was very best and so fresh no one will ever think that they can get that from Africa.
The Dahlia Tours&Safaris team has been nothing but down to earth guides.

Custom Tour in Kilimanjaro Area
4/5

We had a series of day trips including one to Arusha National Park and one to Tarangire NP. The other two days involved more local activities, one in the Marangu area and one in the Lawate - Sanya Juu area. The weather curtailed a few of our anticipated activities, but what we did get to do was very enjoyable. The food was plentiful and delicious. Norbert was a great driver/guide to the two national parks.
Communications could have been a little better at times. That may have been partly due to our somewhat last-minute arrangement of our itinerary, or due to the fact that we were staying at the lodge of a friend of a friend, so we coordinated more often with that friend than with Brian himself.

Tarangire NP
4/5

My daughter and I didn't want to do a long safari. We wanted to do two or three days in Northern Tanzania. A friend recommended Dahlia Tours. We communicated with Aron and Brian by email before arriving in Tanzania. Aron provided us with a lot of information on short safaris. A lifetime dream of mine was to see Baobob trees. We decided on Tarangire. We had a marvelous time. Our guide Bryce was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Our second day was spent at Mt. Kilimanjaro's NP. We spent the day with our guide Paschal wading at the bottom of waterfalls, participating in roasting and grinding coffee beans which we brewed and enjoyed. We are looking forward to our next trip to Tanzania. The guys at Dahlia Tours took very good care of us like we were family.

I advise you do not a safari with Brian or Dahlia Tours especially for Wheelchair Travel
1/5

We planned an extended family vacation in July 2024 with an US travel agent who connected us with Brian & Dahlia Tours. Our needs were specific as my father is in a wheelchair and we were a group of 9 with ages from 80 to 11. We spent over 1.5 years planning and paying for this trip of a lifetime. Unfortunately, Brian/Dahlia failed to make hotel payments, reservations for excursions, arrange disabled friendly travel and generally lied to us about the status of our trip. We confirmed all plans with him and our US travel agent frequently prior to departure for East Africa. Upon arriving, we were met with unpaid hotel reservations, unbooked excursions, limited English speaking guides, very old vehicles in Tanzania, hotel bookings that were not per our itinerary and not disability friendly, unpaid game park fees and the list goes on. It was a stressful and dangerous trip due to his poor planning and lies about his poor planning.
